If you have easier ways of doing these achievements then please feel free to post and I will update the guide. Glory of the HeroComplete the Heroic Dungeon achievements listed below. Reward: Red Proto-Drake -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Utgarde Keep On The RocksDefeat Prince Keleseth in Utgarde Keep on Heroic Difficulty without shattering any Frost Tombs. How to achieve: This achievement is obtained by not destroying the "Ice Blocks" that the boss casts on a random player throughout the fight. The Ice Block that he casts incapacitates you and does damage over time. It must be healed through. During the fight it is also not recommended to do any type of AoE damage as you risk the chance of breaking an Ice Block. However, all CC breaking items/spells will allow for you to "break" out of the ice and still obtain the achievement. PvP Trinket Mage - Blink Mage - Ice Block Hunter - Beast Within -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Utgarde Pinnacle The Incredible HulkForce Svala Sorrowgrave to kill a Scourge Hulk on Heroic Difficulty in Utgarde Pinnacle. How to achieve: The tank must pull both Svala Sorrowgrave and a Scourge Hulk and tank them both while the raid damages the Scourge Hulk to a low enough health that it will be killed by the Ritual of the Sword's AoE damage. It is advised to ensure this achievement is not botched that nobody uses DoTs as it may prematurely kill the add. The tank has to stand on the table tanking the add while the sword is lowering and take the AoE damage as well. The achievement will be earned the instant the add is killed by the AoE. It is best to get the Hulk down to about 1-2k HP before trying to get it killed by the AoE. Lodi Dodi We Loves the SkadiDefeat Skadi the Ruthless in Utgarde Pinnacle on Heroic Difficulty within 3 minutes of starting the gauntlet event. How to achieve: The key to this achievement is that your group must already have the harpoons on them before the fight is initiated. Knowing that it can be reset by the group pulling back into the room that Gortok Palehoof is found in lets you keep your harpoons without dying or having to leave the instance and lose them. After 3 assigned members of the group have 2 harpoons each (only 5 are needed to kill Grauf), he is reset and the group can quickly run past to the harpoon guns before he respawns. The tank positions themself in the doorway just next to the harpoon guns, and someone is sent to run back down the corridor and stand in front of Skadi to start the event, then quickly make their way back up to the group at the harpoon guns. As the fight is started, the group should allow Skadi to do one pass by (watching for frost breath) so that the adds can be DPS'd down. As he reaches his second pass, the harpooners should shoot Skadi down and the tank should pick him up. Then all DPS goes to the remaining adds and kills them to stop them causing trouble, then Skadi is killed as normal. A regular DPS group with no special tricks should be sufficient to kill Skadi in well under the time limit, even when he is allowed to do one pass by. My Girl Loves to Skadi All the TimeDefeat Skadi the Ruthless in Utgarde Pinnacle on Heroic Difficulty after having killed Grauf from 100% to dead in a single pass. How to achieve: To bring Skadi down you need to have a spear, wich is dropped by the mobs entering the area while doin this event. After you have a spear you have to use a catapult when Skadi is in the right position for it. To bring Skadi down in one Try, you need to shoot him 5 Times. Your arrows WONT get deleted if you fail. So simply collect enough of them and wipe + Redo the Event. King's BaneDefeat King Ymiron in Utgarde Pinnacle on Heroic Difficulty without anyone in the party triggering Bane. How to achieve: Bane is triggered every 20 seconds after the first pull, there are two ways to get this achievement either by having fast DPS or stopping DPS at each Bane. Ymiron runs to the boats at each side of him when you get him below % of HP they work like 80%, 60%, 40% and 20% in order to avoid a Bane you DPS him to each of these % within 20 seconds as the timer resets each time he runs to a boat. If you lack DPS and are trying to the pull of method make sure everyone stops DPS at about 18 seconds also make sure you do not have pets out as they will tigger Bane if they hit him during cast. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Nexus Split PersonalityDefeat Grand Magus Telestra in The Nexus on Heroic Difficulty after having killed her images within 5 seconds of each other during both splits. How to achieve: Telestra uses an ability to split herself into 3 clones. You will have to bring each of those clones down to about 10% health, and then quickly finish them all off. She uses the ability two times, first start off by getting her frost clone down to 10% and using interupion effects on her blizzard as she takes less damage while casting it. Try to keep all the clones grouped up with each other as it will make jumping from target to target easier and faster. Chaos TheoryDefeat Anomalus in The Nexus on Heroic Difficulty without destroying any Chaotic Rifts. How to achieve: n order to complete this achievement, every time Anomalus opens a rift he must be kited away from it. This is because adds that spawn will only aggro if in proximity to a player or the boss (while he is shifted into a rift channeling phase). These adds will despawn on their own eventually, and along with Anomalus move slower than run speed. When he shifts into rift channeling phase, the tank will move away from him to a repositioning spot for after channeling, and all other party members will stand at a distance from the tank. This is because the target closest to the rifts will suffer their chain lightning abilities, increasing healing demand. As Anomalus shifts out, he will agro on to the tank and bring a few rift spawns with him; these are to be killed before DPS is shifted back to the boss. Keep in mind that the more he is kited, the less rift spawns will agro when he unshifts. Healing through the first and second channeling phase is relatively easy, but the third is more mana intensive and will have upwards of 5-6 rifts spawned constantly damaging the tank, shortly followed by more rift spawns. After the third channeling phase is over, the fight is relatively simple. Just continue the fight as before, being cautious of any adds that have spawned and are attacking the tank. If the tank dies, Anomalus can easily be kited back towards the front entrance of the instance while ranged dps kill him, ignoring the adds. Keep in mind that a path will have to be pre-cleared before you attempt kiting, as Anomalus can cause nearby mobs to agro, wiping your group! Intense ColdDefeat Keristrasza in The Nexus on Heroic Difficulty without allowing Intense Cold to reach more than two stacks. How to achieve: Movement breaks Intense Cold, so just keep strafing/jumping/moving, and avoid spells with long cast times. If you get rooted by Crystal Chains, use potion of free action or pvp trinket or whichever class/racial abilities you have to get out of movement impairing effects. Druids can break out of Crystal Chains by shifting and Mages can Blink. Another method of getting this if you are lacking a pvp trinket + free action is letting your self get killed by her and having the rest of your group finish the fight. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Oculus Experienced Drake RiderOn three different visits to The Oculus, get credit for defeating Ley-Guardian Eregos while riding an Amber, Emerald, and Ruby drake on Heroic Difficulty. How to achieve: This will take three run of Oculus to obtain, each run use a different drake. Before attacking Ley-Guardian Eregos make sure you take off all your armor in order to avoid repair bills Make It CountDefeat Ley-Guardian Eregos in The Oculus on Heroic Difficulty within 20 minutes of Drakos the Interrogator's death. How to achieve: # Make sure everyone knows what drake they are getting ahead of time, and which cage the NPC with their drake comes out of. # Don't loot ANY corpses. The boss loot will be there when you're done. # Chain pull. If you're using any forms of CC have a plan ahead of time who is going to take care of what (i.e.: Shaman Hexes and Mage Sheeps back two Humanoids on construct pulls). This will help save time since you won't have to mark anything. # Don't be afraid to kill a few dragons on the way to the outer platforms for the constucts and second boss. Better to take a few seconds to knock out the 3 or 4 you might aggro than to ignore them and have someone die as a result. # If you have a Blood Lust/Heroism, use it on the second boss. This will be the best use because this fight is slightly more stationary than the third. # On the beast pack the third boss spawns: Kill the Wind Serpents first (chain lightning), followed by the Mammoth (charge). # Once the third boss is dead, everyone who isn't buffing Drakes needs to immediately mount up. The buffers need to cast as soon as possible. When everyone is ready you need to immediately go up and engage the boss. # If any Whelps aggro on the way, let the Ruby Drake take care of them as long as he keeps his second and third ability up constantly since he more than likely won't have aggro most of the time Ruby VoidDefeat Ley-Guardian Eregos in The Oculus on Heroic Difficulty without anyone in your party using a Ruby Drake. How to achieve: 5 Amber Drakes Strategy: Player A, B, C, D, E Phase 1: Player A Engages by using Temporal Focus while B, C, D, E lance. Player A hits their lance when they get 10 charges. Also Player A starts the Time Stop at anywhere between 10-12 seconds into the fight (use the blizzard stop watch). Player B,C,D,E all start using Temporal Focus when the time stop goes off from Player A. Player A is lancing building up 10 charges for B,C,D,E. Once B,C,D,E all have 10 charges, they lance. Player B hits Time Stop as soon as the first time stop from player A is finished (this prevents him from getting whelps off). Everyone continues to alternate the focusing and lancing which means. If player A is lancing then BCDE all should be focusing, and when BCDE are lancing then A should be focusing (this is consistent the entire fight). This should be enough damage to get you into the Astral Phase. Phase 2: When he comes out of his Astral phase, Player C is hitting their time stop (it has to be quick whelps come out fairly quickly). Player D gets the next time stop. Meanwhile everyone should be pretty sync'd up on the Temporal focus and lancing by now, just have one person calling it out, when they are lancing or focusing so you know to do the opposite or same based on what their assignment is. This is really the hardest part of the fight, this 5 amber strat is all about the maximizing the DPS and burning him down quick into phases. This should be enough to get you into Phase 3... Phase 3: Player E uses time stop, then Player A. If whelps have come out during this, ignore them, and continue to DPS. You can also buff the drakes and obtain 87k HP with them. Emerald VoidDefeat Ley-Guardian Eregos in The Oculus on Heroic Difficulty without anyone in your party using an Emerald Drake. How to achieve: This is one of the easiest out of the drake void achievements. To do this you have 2 Ruby Drakes and 3 Amber Drakes, have your main healer use one of the ruby tanks and start the encounter, make sure your drake is flying over something to fall on. Once he dies he will fall down onto a ledge or so and can being healing the other drakes (paladins work best for this) and the 2nd ruby drake will pick up aggro. After phase 2 when you are running away from the orbs make sure you fly back over the platform you healer is standing on. The fight is pretty much the same from this point on. Amber VoidDefeat Ley-Guardian Eregos in The Oculus on Heroic Difficulty without anyone in your party using an Amber Drake. How to achieve: 2 Ruby, 3 Emerald Two ruby drakes will be used to switch tanking during an enrage phase. Two of the three emerald drakes will be dedicated healers while one is occasionally healing but mostly keeping the Touch the Nightmare debuff on the boss which will reduce the workload of healing through enrage damage. Whelps will never be an issue with both ruby drakes constantly spamming Searing Wrath on Eregos. Remember to have tanks switch off aggro in the middle of an enrage, keep up Touch the Nightmare, and this achievement can be done with ease. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Azjol-Nerub Watch Him DieDefeat Krik'thir the Gatewatcher in Azjol-Nerub on Heroic Difficulty while Watcher Gashra, Watcher Narjil and Watcher Silthik are still alive. How to achieve: The intended method is to eliminate all adds except for the three watchers and then engage the boss. The boss is burned down while the watchers are left alive. This can be difficult due to the watchers' web wrap ability, and the Blinding Webs ability of watcher Narjil. A well geared group is highly desirable for this fight, and group makeup can be swapped around as required, but strategy will be different to the one following. A known successful group combination for the zerging method achievement is: * Protection Warrior * Holy Priest * Elemental Shaman * Arcane/Fire Mage * Destruction Warlock As the pull is initiated, all DPS is focused on Krik'thir, and his ads are effectively ignored. The holy priest can shackle a shadowcaster as the boss is pulled, then follow with a Divine Hymn to crowd control multiple mobs. The tank uses Challenging Shout to tank everything else, and probably shortly follows with shield wall at their discretion. Heroism or Bloodlust is blown, and all cooldowns are used to hold agro and maximize dps in the shortest time possible. If done correctly, this fight should be over in approximately 35 seconds. Poison cleansing totem should be up, and the Shaman can also cast Earth Elemental Totem to taunt adds and keep them off the tank for a vital few seconds. When the ground shakes and small ads are summoned these can be AoE'd to keep them off the healer, but it may be risky as it will likely break Divine Hymn and wipe the group anyway. Some aspects of this fight can be attributed purely to luck, such as fixates and web wraps/disorient. Do not be surprised if this takes a lot of time and money in an undergeared group. Hadronox DeniedDefeat Hadronox in Azjol-Nerub on Heroic Difficulty before he webs the top doors and prevents more creatures from spawning. How to achieve: This can be done by either having a Rogue or Hunter within the group, all members execpt the Hunter or Rogue stand on the bridge facing the way down to Hadronox, the Rogue or Hunter then aggro the crusher waiting by the enterance and either Vanish or Feign Death once the mobs despawn the rest of the group drop off the bridge and run down to Hadronox lair with the Rogue sprinting or the Hunter Ascpecting to get down there at the same time as the group. If done right you will have about 10 seconds intil the Hadronox respawns once he does tank needs to pick up and DPS need to kill her as fast as they can as you have about 80 seconds til the crypt mobs respawn and if they hit Hadronox they will steal aggro, if she kills one of them when her agro has been taken she has the chance to heal back to 100%. AoE Spell should be avoided during this encounter. Gotta Go!Defeat Anub'arak in Azjol-Nerub on Heroic Difficulty in 4 minutes or less. How to achieve: Since the new patch this achievement has had it time extended from 2 minutes to 4. This achievement is very simple and easy if you have a group with a fair amount of dps and are fast on the tunnel add phases. It will also help if Melee DPS avoid getting Pounded by moving away from Anub'arak when he is casting. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ahn'kahet: The Old Kingdom The Party's OverDefeat Prince Taldaram in Ahn'kahet on Heroic Difficulty with less than 5 people. How to achieve: This achievment can be obtained with good healing and high DPS, there is a bug where If you kick the 5th person out of the group just before you engage the boss he/she can help DPS the boss intil they are teleported out and the remaining people will still get the achievement. If you engage the fight with 5 people and then kick a member just before you down him you will not be credited the achievement. Respect Your EldersDefeat Elder Nadox in Ahn'kahet on Heroic Difficulty without killing any Ahn'kahar Guardians. How to achieve: This can be done with 2 Tanks or 1 Tank and a DPS with Tanking gear I.E. Death Knight, Pally ect. The idea is clear all trash leading to the boss then when taking on the Nadox have the main Tank keep the Guardians in the corner where the boss starts off at, the off Tank will take Nadox in the corner oppsite so he is as far away from the Guardians as he can be, the immunity works off range. The Healer will stand directly on top of Nadox as they main Tank should not really need healing while on the Guardians, the two DPS should try to burn the boss the down as fast as posible to save strain on the healer. If you take Nadox up the stairs he will do an enrage which will end in you wiping. Volunteer WorkDefeat Jedoga Shadowseeker in Ahn'kahet on Heroic Difficulty without killing any Twilight Volunteers. How to achieve: It is possible to achieve this if the tank was geared enough to have high mitigation and health as well as the healer being capable of canceling out the damage fast enough. If you are in a high caliber group, you may only have to put up with one or two stages of her buff and kill her quickly. Use Disarm and Dismantle to lower damage on tank. Volazj's Quick DemiseDefeat Herald Volazj in Ahn'kahet on Heroic Difficulty in 2 minutes or less. How to achieve: This achievement can be made a lot easier with a Warrior Tank, the Warrior can Spell Refect the Mind Flays which will make Volazj take 18k damage. Also having a Death Knight as DPS and a Shaman healer can make this go a lot faster. When Volazj begins to cast his first Insanity the Death Knight would use Army of Dead, which will speed up the phase, as soon as everyone is out of Insanity the Shaman should hit Bloodlust. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Drak'Tharon Keep Consumption JunctionDefeat Trollgore in Drak'Tharon Keep on Heroic Difficulty before Consume reaches ten stacks. How to achieve: Trollgore will instant cast consume every 15 seconds. This ability can be line of sighted. Pull Trollgore down the stairs and into the tunnel entering into his room. Place a dps class at the top of the stairs where he is pulled from and assign them to stopping and killing adds before they reach Trollgore. This is because every nearby unit, either player or enemy adds to his consume if hit. Every 10-12 seconds, run out of line of sight until he has cast consume, then run back out and dps him. You can see when he has cast consume because his consume buff stack will increase (If done properly it should only increase by 1 each time). The strategy of this fight is very similar to the Firemaw strategy. The healer can be positioned so that they are always in Line of Sight of the tank, but not Trollgore. If done using this method, you should have plenty of time before Trollgore reaches 10 stacks. Pets, mirror images, treants etc. may be a problem adding consume stacks in this fight, so it is a prudent idea to keep them on passive or uncast. Oh Novos!Defeat Novos the Summoner in Drak'Tharon Keep on Heroic Difficulty without allowing any undead minions to reach the floor. How to achieve: The key to the achievement is having the DPS, or at least one or two strong AOE capable DPS, remain on the stair for the entire first phase of the encounter. The undead that enter the chamber have low HP and must simply be tagged to prevent them from getting down to the floor. The other issue is the larger elite undead that spawn occasionally. Only a small number will spawn during the entire event, and the best defense is to let your tank know that they've appeared so they can move up the stair case to grab them. This is easily accomplished by a Warrior or Druid tank with a charge ability, and the elites are not very strong overall. So long as at least one dedicated DPS continues to tag all the incoming undead and the tank becomes aware of the presence of the larger elites, the achievement will be yours. Better Off DredEngage King Dred in Drak'Tharon Keep on Heroic Difficulty and slay 6 Drakkari Gutrippers or Drakkari Scytheclaw during his defeat. How to achieve: There are 7 total raptors in the fenced-in area with King Dred, one may be safely killed before the pull to retain the 6 required raptors. King Dred does not summon any additional raptors, and only the closest one or two will pull with him, depending on his position when you pull. Periodically he will cast Call Raptor, calling one of the raptors in the back of the pen that has not yet engaged the group to assist him. If he isn't calling them fast enough, group members can manually pull additional raptors during the fight. Having an off-tank to pick up the raptors is very helpful for this achievement, as King Dred will periodiclly amplify bleed effects on the tank by 75% and reduce the tank's armor by 75%. Each scytheclaw raptor uses a Rend which can stack from multiple scytheclaws (but one raptor cannot stack his own rend multiple times) and each gutripper raptor will use a debuff that reduces its target's stamina by 15%. (does not stack) If the group fails to kill King Dred, the raptors you have killed will not respawn and you will not be able to complete the achievement until the instance resets if you do not have 6 left alive. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Violet Hold DefenselessDefeat Cyanigosa in The Violet Hold without using Defense Control Crystals and with Prison Seal Integrity at 100% while in Heroic Difficulty. How to achieve: The only two issues with performing this achievement is the DPS caliber and the mob control. If you have a paladin tank in your group, this is very easy to accomplish with consecrate holding aggro on any incoming adds. Lockdown!Defeat Xevozz, Lavanthor, Ichoron, Zuramat the Obliterator, Erekem, and Moragg in The Violet Hold on Heroic Difficulty. How to achieve: Very simple, just kill all the boss's in Violet Hold. This achievement will take about 5 or 6 runs. DehydrationDefeat Ichoron in the Violet Hold on Heroic Difficulty without allowing any Ichor Globules to merge. How to achieve: *Dps is more or less unimportant for this boss. Unless I'm mistaken until the last 'combined' phase (at which point he won't split again anyway) he has charges on his water shield which prevent almost all damage, and get reduced by 1 whenever he's attacked. At 0 charges he explodes and splits. Having one dpser stay off the boss and stand ready next to the switches will not make this fight more difficult. *The switches have a ~6 sec cast time. *The insta-kill aura seems to pulse 3 to 4 times, and takes a few secs after the end of the cast time to actually start pulsing. Whilst I wasn't the one using the switches, it certainly looked like using the switches very early (~8 charges left on shield) was very handy, as the final pulses of the aura came as the elementals started spawning - meaning they barely moved at all. *The non-switch users job during the splits is to snare/stun the globules that get close to the body if they aren't killed immediately. *Tank the boss in the centre of the lower area. A Void DanceDefeat Zuramat the Obliterator in The Violet Hold without killing any void sentries. How to achieve: Zuarmat will spawn Void Sentries thoughout the fight which do shadow bolts at the entire group. The easiest way to get this achievement is by having either a Paladin/Priest/Shaman in the group. The Paladin or Priest can do Shadow Protection to lower the damage taken from the shadow bolts, the Shaman job would be to purge Shroud of Darkness off of the boss which will reduce healing effects by 25%. With fast DPS and good team work this achievement should be no problem. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Gundrak Snakes. Why'd It Have To Be Snakes?Defeat Slad'ran in Gundrak on Heroic Difficulty without getting snake wrapped. How to achieve: The easier way to do this achievement is to clear the bone room next to the boss, Once all cleared, tank Slad'ran on the middle pile of bones and the casters/healer stand on the back pile of bones. Melee stand were the boss is dpsing and running out on his AoE. During the fight Slad'ran will summon snakes in his room which will make their way to your party the best way to avoid anyone getting wrapped is making sure you AoE the mobs down when they finally get to you and then jumping back on the boss. Less-rabiDefeat Moorabi in Gundrak on Heroic Difficulty while preventing him from transforming into a mammoth at any point during the encounter. How to achieve: Steadily DPS down to just under 40% with 2 reliable people (preferably a Warrior, Rogue, or DK) with specials attacks hit capped, alternating duty to interrupt casts. Note that casts normally occur about 8 seconds after the last interrupt. Bloodlust/Heroism and have everyone with a spell interrupt ability ready to interrupt the next cast (stop DPS at 30% if the cast has not yet come) and burn ASAP. You will need outstanding DPS to manage this achievement Partial list of abilities that will work: Hammer of Justice, Mind Freeze, Spell Lock (Felhunter), Counterspell, Kick, Shield Bash, Pummel. Spell slowing effects don't do anything to affect the cast time of Transformation on this boss. He's also immune to stuns and silences. Share The LoveDefeat Gal'darah in Gundrak on Heroic Difficulty and have 5 unique party members get impaled throughout the fight. How to achieve: Group composition of two tanks, two healers, and a DPSer makes this achievement quite easy to accomplish, since Gal'darah cannot impale his primary agro target. Simply hold dps or have very light dps and make sure that once one of the tanks has been impaled, the other tank taunts Gal'darah off and tanks him so the first tank can also be impaled. Once everybody has been impaled, he can be killed normally. Do not worry if a non tank gets killed by an impale as they still count for the achievement. A healer being killed can make it slightly more difficult, but no more than usual. What the Eck?Defeat Gal'darah in Gundrak on Heroic Difficulty while under the effects of Eck Residue. How to achieve: Eck Residue is acquired from the zone's optional Heroic boss, Eck the Ferocious. In order to get the Residue debuff, you need to be hit by Eck's frontal cone ability: Eck Spit. Eck Residue itself lasts for an hour, so once you're affected by the debuff the only additional requirement for this achievement is that you not die before killing Gal'darah. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Halls of Stone Good GriefDefeat the Maiden of Grief in the Halls of Stone on Heroic Difficulty in 1 minute or less. How to achieve: Maiden of Grief has approximately 431,400 HP. To kill her in 60 seconds requires that the group must be doing at least 7,190 average total DPS during the encounter. (DPS should not go below 2054, tank should not go below 1027) If your group has mediocre gear on some people this probably will not happen. During her mass stun it is advised that all party members jump into a void zone towards the end of the cast so that only one tick of the damage from inside of it will break the stun and they can continue without issue. Brann Spankin' NewDefeat the Tribunal of Ages encounter in the Halls of Stone on Heroic Difficulty without allowing Brann Bronzebeard to take any damage. How to achieve: Make sure to do your fighting at the stairs, and save your AoE threat abilities for incoming new waves, you can easily prevent mobs from reaching Brann (yes, even Warriors). Of course, if you want to be safe, more AoE classes (Ret Paladin, Death Knight..even Hunter) will further ensure your success. The most difficult part, again, is being able to even finish the event. Abuse the OozeDefeat Sjonnir the Ironshaper in the Halls of Stone on Heroic Difficulty and kill 5 Iron Sludges during the encounter. How to achieve: He starts spawning sludges at 50%. For 100-50%, just burn him as normal, while killing his adds. When he hits ~40%, break off - don't bring him too low. If you have any way to lower his damage (Curse of Weakness, Thunder Clap, Demo Shout), keep it up on him. Stick one DPS on each side. On one side, kill all the sludges (they have only a few thousand HP). On the other side, allow 2 sludges to move to the boss, and kill the rest. The 2 sludges will get to the middle, dance around each other for about 5 seconds, then merge into an Iron Slime. Quickly kill it, then allow 2 more sludges to get to the middle from the same side. Repeat till you've killed 5, then burn all remaining little sludges and burn the boss. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Halls of Lightning Lightning StruckDefeat General Bjarngrim in the Halls of Lightning on Heroic Difficulty while he has a Temporary Electrical Charge. How to achieve: Bjarngrim has 3 Platform where he stops and get his Temporary Electrical Charge. To do this achievment you need to clear the 3 platforms first, and engage him while he got his Temporary Electrical Charge on. Easiest way to kill him is to kill his guards first and then kill him. Shatter ResistantDefeat Volkhan in the Halls of Lightning on Heroic Difficulty without allowing him to shatter more than 4 Brittle Golems. How to achieve: Ignore the adds that he spawns and just attack Volkhan, having someone OT'ing them with AoE aswell as killing the boss will make this easier on the healer. Timely DeathDefeat Loken in the Halls of Lightning on Heroic Difficulty in 2 minutes or less. How to achieve: This achievement requires you to kill Loken before his third Lightning Nova, basically. If everyone in the group has at least 16,000 hitpoints, this achievement won't be a problem. You don't need a priest or a druid either. Naturally, the fight is meant to be done in a specific way. You're supposed to run away from Loken as the Lightning Nova commences. However, due to the way his lightning pulse works (the further you are away from him, the more damage you take), in order to do this achievement, you're much better off getting some nature resist (don't gimp yourself with nature resist gear, just get mark of the wild, or a nature resist totem, or nature resist aspect) and staying in for the lightning nova. After the nova, everyone gets topped off over time, and DPS continues. He should die shortly before or after his second lightning nova. The reason you won't want to run away is that, while you won't take the lightning nova damage, you will be losing DPS time running away from him, and back to him. If you run away and back to him each time, that's ~20 seconds of non-DPS, and you only have 2 minutes to kill him, not to mention that you'll be taking damage from his other lightning attacks as you're running back to him (which, given how far away you are from him, will do a lot of damage). -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Culling of Stratholme Zombiefest!Kill 100 Risen Zombies in 1 minute in The Culling of Stratholme on Heroic Difficulty. How to achieve: § There are ~85 Zombies in the entire street in the beginning. § After clearing the building / 3rd boss there are more zombies on another street that you end up at. But, there are packs of Elites mixed in down the street. § After the 2nd boss DIES the zombies in the beginning (before you enter into the inn) will stop respawning. º This boss is named Salramm the Fleshcrafter. § In order to have all of these zombies up you have to take the 2nd boss INTO the inn at the end of the street, nuke all the zombies that have followed, then hold off on killing him until all the zombies have respawned. º We waited ~2 minutes until we saw a lot on the mini-map just before the inn, which was about 15. § Everyone in the group will get credit for a zombie kill REGARDLESS OF WHERE THEY ARE INSIDE THE INSTANCE. § The timer starts after the first zombie is killed, 100 must be killed in that countdown. Yes, if you wait the minute out it will restart on the next one killed. º If you □Track the achievement (Dungeons & Raids --> Lich King Heroic) you can see the timer and kill count. § It is a good idea to have 2 people killing in the first street and the rest ready to kill 20+ on the second street. The Culling of TimeDefeat the Infinite Corruptor in The Culling of Stratholme on Heroic Difficulty. How to achieve: In order to get this achievement you have to get to the end of the ally (buildings on fire after the 3rd boss) within 45 minutes, once you make it past here with time remaining you run past the Mal'ganis fight and to the left where you will see the Infinite Corruptor. This achievement is quite tricky as no one can die and you need fast pulling, great healing and good dps. Edited by Christian, Jun 16 2009, 11:06 AM.
