If you've never heard of 'Room 101', it is a torture chamber in George Orwell's 1984 in which the Ministry of Love is allowed to subject a prisoner to his/her worst fears or phobias. More recently, it was a BBC television programme in which celebrities were invited to discuss their pet peeves in order to have them consigned to the chamber in the above novel. You can put any item into Room 101 and the same thing can be mentioned twice, so what would you put in it? Discuss.[redit][/redit] |

As for me, I would put Steve Wright on Radio 2 in there. He's a pompous little wart who continuously makes a fool of himself on the radio and is praised for his "wit". He talks down to every guest that comes on the show and never asks them anything meaningful. My mum once said he "wants pinning against a wall and shooting". How right she is! |

That's the thing with these politicians...they're popular until they get into power. It's one major reason why I have no plans whatsoever to enter politics; it's just a sure-fire way to make an idiot of oneself. I think I'll also throw David Cameron in, partly to protect him from looking more stupid than he already does, and partly to save myself from having to watch yet another of his silly PR stunts. At least he isn't too keen on obsessive political correctness, though. |
