Artina watched as the shuttle departed, staring with some surprise at Fenrich's face through the window of the shuttle. Well, some surprise, but not really that much. It meant she had to fake it slightly less as she put a stricken look upon her face to pretend to be upset that he'd left her. In truth, she wasn't that concerned. Actually, she wasn't concerned at all. What Fenrich didn't realize was that, not only did she know exactly where he was going, but she knew exactly where he was at any given time, and had already arranged for someone else to help her follow him where he was going. Valvatorez wasn't here, so it was Artina's job to make sure Fenrich stayed safe. And for all Fenrich looked down on her, she was very, very crafty, and could take care of herself well enough to take care of him too. While he'd been figuring out how to make money and adjust to life here, so had she. And, so far, she'd used most of the money she'd made to buy a magical tracking device and place it on Fenrich. Of course, since she had so little money of her own left, she'd had to promise some pretty unsavory favors to arrange contingencies so she could travel even if she missed the shuttle. Now she was going to have to cash that in. Well, actually it just meant that her mage associate would be able to cash it in later, since she didn't have time right now. Normally she had too much self-respect to do such things, but she figured it was a small price to pay to see Fenrich's reaction. Now, it was time to talk to her contact... --- Finally, he'd gotten rid of her. He'd been beginning to wonder if he'd never get away. Fenrich had been so sick of being stalked by that irritating little angel. The worst part was, she was so smart about it. Really smart. A couple times he'd thought he'd managed to ambush her in her sleep, only to find out that she'd left a decoy and was sleeping somewhere else. No matter what he did, he couldn't get his hands on her or get her away from him... But now, he'd left her behind, and if he was lucky, she would never find him again. Fenrich's trip on the shuttle was uneventful. When he landed on the Pokemon World, and went outside, however, he was very much surprised by the sights. Even right at the station there were people interacting with creatures, and when he went outside and began to travel, he saw even more of them. They reminded him a lot of the creatures he saw at the arena, and a few times he saw creatures which must have been the same species. These were Pokemon, then, and it seemed there were a very great variety of beings that fell into that category. He'd been lucky enough to find a shuttle that arrived directly at his destination, as apparently it was a relatively major city, though not one of the biggest ones. He had some time left before when he'd told Chlomaki he would arrive, so he took a roundabout route to her shop, taking in the sights in this incredible, very interesting place. Were all the worlds in this Multiverse this interesting? If so, it would easily take many hundreds of years to learn everything he wanted to know about these worlds, and becoming an influential figure would be exceedingly difficult. Finally, Fenrich arrived at the shop, oblivious to a certain figure that had begun following him somewhere along the way. He approached the front of the shop, examined any signs that were there, and walked in. A few seconds later, he would be followed by his unwanted companion. |

Chlomaki's shop was rather easy to find--it was on the outskirts, near the forest, and the exterior of the wooden building had been painted solid black with a sign overhead that read "Chlomaki's Magic Shop", and a second sign in the window that said "Open! Come on in!". It looked as if she had made them herself by hand, as the writing was just a bit uneven. A small bell hung from the door gave a cheery chime as he pushed the door open. Inside, the shop was somewhat dimly lit, various enchanted odds and ends lined the shelves, and off to one side was a rack of three clearly magical weapons with a sign that advertised them as being "cute witch girl spirits bound to weapons with neat powers!* (*note: they probably need to see a therapist)". And, sitting behind a counter further back, Chlomaki looked up, her expression as goofy and cheerful as ever... though by now, Fenrich would know that was no real indicator of how she was actually feeling. "Fenriiich~! I was hoping you'd show up. Looks like you're right on time! How's the Multiverse been treating you so far?" the catgirl said, stepping out from behind the counter. Truth be told, she actually was glad to see her canine acquaintance. He seemed like the sort who might attract interesting situations, and the only thing she liked more than sticking her nose into interesting situations was sticking other things into her girlfriend. But that was beside the point. "Oh yeah, and welcome to my little shop. I take good care of it, y'know~" she added almost as an afterthought. "If you see anything you like, Ill give you a friend discount." |

Fenrich glanced about at the various knick-knacks in the shop, somewhat intrigued by the descriptions given to some of the items. Possessed witch weapons that needed a therapist? Of coursd, it would be easily imagined that any spirit bound to a weapon and unable to act on its own would have some issues, but there was definitely some humor to that description, and while he wasn't much for doing a lot of joking himself, he could certainly appreciate a touch of wit. Not that he would say so. "Of course I showed up. I told you I would, didn't I? If there'd been some serious delay, I'd have been sure to tell you. It's good to see you, Chlomaki." Fenrich felt about Chlomaki much as she felt about him- Things were likely to be interesting around her. She seemed interesting enough herself to warrant some attention, and savvy enough that if she didn't have some influence, perhaps she could help him find it. As Chlomaki spoke some further comments, Fenrich heard the bell on the door ring behind him. Instinctively he looked behind him tl size up the new arrival, but when he did he simply froze in shock, unable to process what he was seeing. "No..." His denial of reality was simply ignored, however, as Artina simply walked forward and shot a glowing smile at Chlomaki. "You give discounts to friends? Well, I hope we can be great friends! I'm Artina. It's so nice to finally meet you, Chlomaki!" Fenrich looked between Artina and Chlomaki, scarcely able to believe the situation. He stammered somewhat aimlessly for a moment, before forcing himself to try and calm down, regaining his composure. It wouldn't do to start a conflict inside Chlomaki's shop. He spoke, carefully keeping his voice level. "...Pardon me, I'd thought I'd left this thing behind." The contempt dripped off of his words, thicker than molasses and far less sweet. "Evidently she's been following me since before I met you. I assure you, I've told her nothing." Artina looked to Fenrich, her smile slipping only enough to show amusement to complement its cheer. "Well, someone needs to keep grumpy Mr. Werewolf out of trouble. With that cloud over his head, lightning's gonna strike eventually, right?" Fenrich immediately opened his mouth to make another retort, and if Chlomaki didn't interrupt, this exchange was likely to continue for some time. |

Chlomaki noticed Artina the moment Fenrich did, and visibly tensed, posture stiffening a bit and the lazy swishing of her tail freezing entirely. That was an angel. She had enough history with them to know. By the time Fenrich and Artina got to the point of almost arguing, though, she had shaken off the shock. "Now, now, let's not fight in my shop, alright~? You'll make the witches even more anxious than usual," Chlomaki cut in, gesturing with a flick of her tail at the weapons that Fenrich had looked at. Despite her light tone, she shot both Artina and Fenrich a slightly sharp glance. She wasn't kidding, after all. Her expression didn't lighten any as she fixed Artina with an even stare. "I'll accept your apology for tracking an angel in here, I suppose. But I'm going to have to ask you, cutie, who are you working for?" With no warning, a black carved wand had appeared in Chlomaki's hand, and her tail was completely still, ears tilted back. There were very few things that bothered Chlomaki, but strange angels, when she wasn't sure who they belonged to... Well, that was certainly one way to put her on edge. She probably wasn't one of his, but she had to be sure. She had to. |

Artina wasn't quite sure what had just happened. She'd come in with a smile on her face, and now the shop owner looked very, veru... Upset seemed like the right word, but it really didn't describe the on-edge hostility that had just bloomed in an instant. Artina backed up, blinking, visibly startled but trying not to look too scared. She made an effort to keep up some degree of cheer, but it was slipping as she, well, really was not used to dealing with situations that actually scared her. "Well, I work for Mr. Vampire of course! Valvatorez. Mr. Werewolf is his vassal, and he's very worried about him. I'm just here to keep Fenrich out of trouble." Fenrich snarled, "I assure you, I will encounter no trouble that is more bothersome than you." Artina, despite herself, shot Fenrich an irritated look. This was what she got for trying to help out! Though she normally found amusement in it, at the moment it didn't seem very funny- She was a little sick of Fenrich treating her like she was a piece of toxic waste ready to be disposed of. She quickly looked back to Chlomaki again though, her glare of irritation being replaced with a very, very nervous smile. If this went badly, she was definitely gonna have to bolt to the door. |

Chlomaki stared at Artina for a few seconds, before glancing at Fenrich. So apparently they had the same boss, who was a vampire... ...Yeah, she was fine. In an instant, Chlomaki's demeanor shifted back to casual cheer, and she slipped her wand behind one of the various belts that criss-crossed her dress. It disappeared into some hidden pocket, leaving no trace she'd ever been agitated in the first place, and her tail gave a cheerful swish. "In that case, we're good. I have... some history with a certain someone who has a bunch'a angel underlings, so I have to ask every time. Eheh. I gotta say, though..." Chlomaki grinned mischievously. "...Your boss man has great taste. Cute lil' angel girl, cool suave wolf guy... Ahh, this is great~ Either of you care for some drinks?" The catgirl winked, and snapped her fingers, magically conjuring a little pink heart shape over her hand that floated up and then vanished. Hopefully, the clearly-implied flirtations would get the two of them to stop fighting for the moment. She had been looking forward to talking with someone interesting, and the fact that he'd apparently been followed by a not-quite-friend wasn't going to ruin things, now that she knew Artina was safe to have around. All she needed was for Fenrich to be willing to tolerate her for the moment. Edited by Chlomaki, Mar 9 2017, 06:39 PM.

Artina blinked, initially unsure of what she was seeing when Chlomaki went from hostile to cheerful all at once. Was it really okay? As Chlomaki spoke though, Artina realized that, yes, everything did seem to be fine, and her nervous smile became much more actually cheerful. Then when the flirting began, Artina's smile became very, very wide. She liked this catgirl! Fenrich was less sure what to make of it, and he suddenly seemed very dismayed and confused. "You mean you're going to let- ...I see." Fenrich stood tall again, in his normally dismissive, nonchalany way, and Artina chuckled at how hard he tried to look cool. She smiled at Chlomaki, and gave a friendly wink. "We'd love to have some drinks! Do you have anything with mint? And for Mr. Werewolf... He'll never admit it as a big bad demon, but I happen to know he likes kiwi." Fenrich's shock at that remark was evident- But not anger. He was simply surprised that she knew- He'd never admitted an affinity for fruit drinks to anyone. How could she know that? "Er... Yes. She's right. If you don't have kiwi, then any fruit would do. Or tea." He was astounded, and quite impressed, at Artina's intelligence-gathering skills. He wasn't even angry. In fact, he sort of admired it. No, that was ridiculous. There couldn't be anything to admire about an angel like her. ...Could there? |

Oh, this was great. Chlomaki giggled when Artina returned the wink. People didn't return her teasing flirtations often enough for her tastes, it was always fun to see someone else play along. "Great~" Chlomaki lightly clapped her hands together. "Give me juuust a moment." She skipped off into a back room, and returned after a moment with three filled glasses in her arm. One was pale green and clearly had mint leaves floating in the ice, another was pink and had what was quite obviously a paper umbrella with a cherry and pineapple wedge speared on it, and the third was very dark and carbonated. "Here we are! And before you ask, yes, I have a fully-stocked bar in the back of my shop. It's the best," the witch said. She offered Fenrich one of the drinks, then Artina. "One strawberry kiwi drink for the big badass wolf, one mint limeade for the feather duster, aaand homemade soda for me. Don't ask for a sip, it's made mostly from plants known for their magical properties and deadly toxins. Belladonna, aconite, few others. I've been building up an immunity to the toxins for years." She took a sip from the apparently-toxic soda with a smile, and her tail swished cheerfully. She then turned to Fenrich. After all, while Artina seemed interesting too, she was for the moment still more interested in the werewolf. He had interesting potential, and didn't want him to feel bad about her letting Artina hang around. "Sooo, what did you wanna chat about, Fenrich? You did come all the way out here." |

Artina and Fenrich sat wordlessly while they waited for Chlomaki to return with the drinks. Artina had her usual smile, while Fenrich stood with what he thought was a calm, unrevealing expression. Nevertheless, Artina could tell that something was bothering him, just a touch. She knew that was to be expected- He was never comfortable in her presence. Chlomaki returned, and Artina met her with typical cheer. "Ooh, mint limeade! I haven't tried that yet, but it sounds delicious! Thank you, Chlomaki!" In contrast to Artina's exuberance, Fenrich took his drink with a soft, barely audible "Thank you." "Toxic soda, huh?" Artina didn't look the least bit put off by the concept. "Any special reason you decided to make a drink like that? I haven't met many people that have gone out of their way to build resistances like that." When Fenrich was asked a direct question, Artina decided to shut up for a moment. She was interested in Fenrich's answer too, though she already had a good idea why the crafty wolf was here. He was looking to see just how useful a contact Chlomaki might be. Fenrich cleared his throat as he worked up a response. "Well," he began, "I suppose I didn't have a specific subject in mind. I simply thought I might try to make up for my behavior when we first met. So we could speak of anything you wish." Was that the only response he was going to give? Artina supposed it might be all that was necessary. Really, Artina hadn't seen a lot of Fenrich playing nice in the past, except with Valvatorez. His network of contacts in the Netherworld had been well-established before she met him, and a lot of what he did to maintain it had involved more intimidation than ingratiation. It was to his credit that he wasn't trying that here, but to one who knew him as well as she did, it was clear that it wasn't easy for him. |

The witch smiled when both of her guests took their drinks. Seemed she'd chosen well. It was always fun to be right. Artina's question, though, drew a glance. ...Well, this wouldn't hurt to give a straight answer. "Lots of poisonous plants are great catalysts for magic. It's like drinking a mana potion! ...That'd kill most people!" Chlomaki giggled to herself, and her tail swished cheerily. "Plus, it's always nice to be prepared. Just in case~" Fenrich's response was almost impressive. He really was good at downplaying his attitude, wasn't he? "Mm, I see..." Chlomaki took a thoughtful sip of her soda. It seemed that Fenrich had decided she might be worth his time. Did he want to assess her, see how useful she might be? That seemed likely. "Well, iiiin that case, I could talk about my little magic shop and my specialties. Or about some of the shenanigans I've gotten into since I ended up here. Or maybe just trade recipes? Any of those sound like exciting topics?" the catgirl asked. |

Artina looked thoughtful at Chlomaki's answer about the soda. "Mana potion, huh... You know, I know someone who'd be interested in something like that. The fact that it'd kill most people would probably make it more interesting for him. At least, given what he does. He's not much like you though." Fenrich's eyes looked back in Artina's direction, and he wondered what she was thinking... She was right though. Emizel would have loved something like that. An incarnation of death, drinking a toxic potion to gain more magical power... That would be rather appropriate. When Chlomaki suggested some topics, Artina felt herself start to say something, and then closed her mouth again. She knew what Fenrich wanted to hear, but thought it would be best to let him speak. And also to see just how direct he'd be- While he was no stranger to subtlety, and he could be horribly patient in his own way, she knew he liked to get to the point as soon as possible... But just how obvious would he be about it? Fenrich thought for a moment, and then said, "It's up to you. Though this shop does seem interesting- What do you do, besides simply selling these things? It can't be easy getting access to all these magical goods- Do you make them all yourself?" |

Chlomaki chuckled quietly at the idea that someone who wasn't much like her would still appreciate her taste in drinks and perhaps do something similar. "Hah, nice," she said with an approving nod and a chuckle. Of course, what she found more interesting was Fenrich's choice of question. Still trying to assess her, no doubt, but in a less direct way than demanding her capabilities, hm? Well, she could entertain that. "Well, I also travel. I do make a lot of these, or enchant stuff I get from other places, but I also take cursed artifacts and make them safe, or just fix things up so they're good to go and put them on the shelf." Chlomaki giggled, tail flicking once. "What can I say? I'm a busy cat." It was all true, of course, and while she hadn't gone into much detail, she was more than happy to, if questioned. She glanced between Artina and Fenrich curiously, stirring her drink with the straw. "How familiar are you guys with magic and magic items, anyways?" she asked offhandedly. "I mean, I'd imagine some, given, well, what you guys are." |

Fenrich listened intently as Chlomaki talked, though was sure not to look too eager as he listened- He was an expert at appearing to have only a passing interest in something when in fact he was paying close attention. What she said of what she did certainly impressed him somewhat. "You must be very knowledgeable in order to do all of that," he said. "I'm not familiar with the art, but I know that it can't be an easy or simple process. And it looks as if you have a wide variety of things here." It was Artina who elected to answer Chlomaki's question in return. "Well, we've both dealt a lot with magic in different forms, in the past. I can do a few spells, especially healing, and we've known lots of people who can do quite a bit with magic. We've also dealt with a lot of magical weapons and armor over the years. In fact... Well, explaining that would be a little tricky. We used to spend a lot of time on improving items, but it's not really the same as enchantment." Fenrich stifled a groan. He knew exactly what Artina was talking about. The Item World. He remembered the endless hours of tedium, the slow process of gaining nigh-infinite power that often seemed as if it would come at the price of one's sanity. He didn't particularly want to talk about that, and wished Artina hadn't mentioned it. It would probably spark Chlomaki's curiosity, and they might be here for hours talking about their own world and its quirks. |

"Oh, yeah, I have a lot of variety and I know a whole heck of a lot." Chlomaki gestured to a shelf behind her two guests, with a few colorful stones on display. "I have Moonstones and Materia, which let just anyone pick up elemental magic, but I also have the weapons that are also traumatized girls, and I can make potions on commission to do just about whatever. I might not be the strongest mage in the Multiverse by raw ability, but you'd be hard-pressed to find a better enchanter, or a magic shop with a better selection." She giggled, clearly relaxed enough to be proud of her accomplishments. Letting others underestimate her all the time was useful, but every now and again, it was fun to actually get to brag. Perhaps surprisingly, Chlomaki didn't ask--perhaps it was Fenrich's subtle displeasure, Artina's phrasing including 'a lot of time', or both. "Eheh. Well, I guess now if you want any items improved, you don't have to do it yourselves, hmmm?" the catgirl said, her tail flicking again. "Still, good to know I don't have to explain stuff. That's good, I hate explaining stuff." |

The more Fenrich listened to Chlomaki talk, the more he was certain that she would make a powerful, incredibly useful ally. Were he in a position to raise an army, she might not be able to outfit all the soldiers, but she might provide significant equipment to the high-ranking officers... Of course, there were likely others out there who were even more powerful enchanters, and they would need to be handled one way or another as well. In the end, he would want the most powerful on his side, and there would be no room for allowing his enemies their services... But that was far removed from the present time. As it was, he had no enemies to be concerned with undermining. Eventually, as he gained influence, it would become clear who would oppose him... Or his chosen figurehead, when that time came. He had yet to decide who he would put himself behind, which fool might serve to be the focus for his opposition to rail against. He knew too little about these worlds and how they worked, and had not yet found anyone suitable to raise up. Artina was blissfully oblivious to Fenrich's scheming, insofar as the specifics of his thoughts at the moment. She knew he was ambitious and would do basically anything to gain power, but she wasn't aware of the details of his plans. Perhaps that was best- She wasn't sure she really wanted to know. Her job, in the end, was to keep him out of trouble, and that almost certainly meant preventing the trouble that he was apt to start in the first place. Since she'd be preventing it from happening, she didn't really want to think about what the implications would be if he succeeded. "Well," said Fenrich, "As successful as you are, how well known is your shop? Surely a mage as talented as yourself must have earned some recognition. I'm sure you've met some interesting people because of that." He refrained from leading her any further on than that. If he outright asked what sort of connections she had, she would know he was fishing for information. How she would take that, he didn't know, but he knew many people didn't like close scrutiny, whether or not they had anything to hide. He wouldn't be surprised if she did, in fact, have things to hide, and he certainly didn't want her to raise her guard. |

Artina might have been blissfully oblivious... but after Chlomaki studied Fenrich for a few moments, she was the only one. "Well, I'm not completely unknown." As much as Fenrich was trying not to make it obvious that he was fishing for connections, Chlomaki had caught on--mostly because this was exactly how she tended to approach things. His phrasing, his choice of topics... Man, just how alike were they at heart? She had to wonder. But first of all, she had to give him an answer. "I have a few pretty solid contacts. My girlfriend's another witch, and her mentor is easily one of the most powerful and well-respected spellcasters in the entire Multiverse, for example~" This little tidbit of information that she deliberately dangled in front of the wolf was paired with a mischievous grin. Did Fenrich still think he was being subtle enough for the catgirl? Her tail swished eagerly. Hah... This was a fun game, and Fenrich, she decided, was a fun person to play with. She couldn't help but want to see where this would go. |

Artina might not have been able to read Fenrich's thoughts, but she certainly knew what he was doing. Looking closely at Chlomaki, she realized that the catgirl did too. She wondered how Fenrich would react to that. As it turned out, he had relatively little reaction at all, at least on the surface. He showed no surprise at the grin, or the words that were paired with it, and inside, he simply continued to revise his evaluation of the catgirl. By the state of the shop, he imagined she was as powerful and skilled as she said, and by that he wouldn't be surprised if she had some influence and recognition. Connections to one of the most powerful spellcasters in the Multiverse... Well, that was considerable, and Fenrich would like to follow up on that. But the catgirl was also clever. That meant that she would not be easily made into a pawn, who would act against her own interests on his behalf. But it made her all the more valuable if she could truly be made into an ally... That was, if he could ever tell what side she was on. "Well," he said, "That certainly sounds impressive. And valuable. Tell me, do you use those contacts mainly to help you with your shop? Or... Perhaps is there anything else you might want? Maybe anything I might, in fact, be able to help with?" It wasn't as if he had the power to fulfill her dreams, at this time. But he might not have to, in order to earn her loyalty. There need be no devil's pact- But, as anyone who worked their way to the top from almost nothing, he'd certainly be willing to work on her behalf so that she could serve him in turn, when the time came. Artina looked uneasily at Fenrich. She'd like for him to make friends... But he was pretty obviously looking for something different from friendship, and the exact way he intimated at an exchange of favors was, well... She wondered if he realized how predatory it seemed. How predatory he was, and how difficult it was to keep that from coming through. He was a werewolf- hell, he was a demon. That would always be a part of his nature. But did he have to just use others so readily, always thinking about his ambitions? Of course, Artina was no stranger to manipulation. She just did it for different reasons, and didn't question that the way she stalked Fenrich and manipulated others for her own goal was different from his approach to his own goals, simply because their goals were so different. But... Then again, was it so different? She refused to think about it. |

"Anything, I want, hmmmm~?" Chlomaki eyed Fenrich contemplatively, wondering just what to do with this scheming wolf. Did she actually trust him? Well, no. If he was as clever and hid his intent as much as she did, which seemed to be the case, but was even more ambitious than her... Yeah, he was potentially dangerous. But he was also potentially interesting, and she couldn't stay away from that. "Well, Fenrich, there is one thing I can't stand." She grinned conspiratorially. "I hate being bored, you know? With my shop, my contacts, all the random stuff I get involved in... The biggest thing is, I'm always on the lookout for interesting shenanigans. And those kinds of things are the best way to gain power and make more contacts too." The witch was fairly confident this would get his attention, and perhaps this would lead places. Ah, she couldn't even really imagine where this would go, and that just made the prospect all the more enjoyable. "So," she said, back to a cheerier, bright smile. "If you want to help out, we should go 'resolve an incident,' as my girlfriend likes to put it, sometime. Go find some random trouble on some world, or wait for random trouble to come to us, and run headlong into it and beat up whatever's behind it. Always a great time. Artina can maybe come too if she promises to stay out of the way of my spells~" |

Chlomaki's words surely did get Fenrich's attention. But if she expected him to react to the words "power" and "contacts" like Pavlov's dog hearing the bell, then she'd be disappointed. Oh, he reacted seemingly positively, sitting up a little straighter, with a slight smirk on his face. But inside he was wondering... Was she trying to play him? She'd obviously read him pretty well, and was speaking to his interests. That probably meant she was trying to use him, just as he was trying to use her... That was fine, but did their interests align? He couldn't simply ask her, for she'd just say whatever she thought would get him to let his guard down. He decided to, for now, take her at her word. She wanted amusement, so she said. And as part of that, she wanted to find trouble... Fair enough. She also said that by finding that trouble, he could benefit. That much, he actually believed as well. He'd lived for a long time in the other Netherworld, which was always inhabited by demons who judged each other by their fearsome reputations... He knew enough to know that it wasn't quite the same here, but there might be something similar he could use. If he showed his power by dealing with the world's troubles, and earned respect... Well, it might help him get started. It might even help him find the would-be Overlord who he'd eventually hide behind. "I think that sounds like a good idea." said Fenrich. Artina, however, was not looking so pleased by this thought. "Um, Fen-Fen, are you sure about this? I mean... It sounds dangerous, and all." Fenrich scoffed. "What, are you scared? You don't have to come if you don't want to." That wasn't the source of her objection, and he well knew it. She knew he knew too, and that made it worse. She was supposed to keep him out of trouble... How was she supposed to do that if he simply sought it out and dove into it? Fenrich gave her an arrogant, mocking grin. He knew exactly what she was thinking, and he thought that it might be worth following this path just to bother her. "I'll come along." said Artina. "I mean, I can't really stop you, so I guess I should just try to help..." Fenrich knew he had Artina beat, at least today. She'd probably try and interfere later, but for now she clearly had no ideas how to do that. "So," said Fenrich, turning back to Chlomaki. "Where do you think we should start?" |

Chlomaki, by this point, was aware that Fenrich's reaction wasn't necessarily a perfect indicator of how he really felt about the situation... but she had been honest about her intentions this time, and if nothing else, he seemed willing to play along, which was really all she needed. Artina's attempt at talking him out of it drew a glance from the catgirl. Hmm, why exactly...? Well, she could figure that out later. Watching Artina's apparent mild discomfort gave her mixed feelings, and internally, she was relieved when Fenrich distracted her from that by asking what, exactly, she wanted to do. "Hmhmm~" Chlomaki's tail swished thoughtfully. "Well, I was kind of interested in going to Sequin Land, that's in Retro Earth, and beating up pirates for fun and profit. Heard there's a town with problems with 'em. Let's do that, if you're down with that plan." She grinned and took another long sip of her soda. |
