I just found out that The Mysterious Cities of Gold will be turned into a feature length CGI movie.![]() Production starts in 2008 so expect to see our favourite child of the sun Esteban and his two buddies Zia and Tao (not forgetting the rest of course) in glorious 3D sometime in around 2009 or 2010. Don't believe me? Click Here!

Interesting...tho sounds very preliminary. I wouldn't have thought it would be financially viable but if they can market and do something in the spirit of the old series, which includes the music, then great! Nice spot. |

Yes, maybe I could get contact with the production company so I could let them borrowed my MCoG CDs that I've brought from France almost 3 years ago. But that's my suggestion. |

Well a new movie isn't a surprise. I mean, with the dvd of the classic coming soon, they need something to hype the fancise up again! Be interesting with the animation though, once again cgi or computer animated or something. |

I don't know if it's a rumour, but if it's true then bring it on. If it's hearsay then we been misled, but I was browsing around a french MCoG fansite a few days ago and spotted the movie poster. Also within that page is a link to the producer's website, so I went there and read all about it. I think the folk at iMDB didn't realise this as this was surfaced over the last weekend. But if it's gossip then we're all been misled. If that's the case... ![]() BTW this is my 50th Cartoon Decades forum post. It's no big deal but hey...

well yeh it might be true - we'll just have to wait and see if anything more concrete appears! movie posters for fake films pop up all the time - remember that one for the live action thundercats, with wesley snipes as panthro etc?

I honestly hope it's a rumour. I would hate for a terrible movie to sully the good name of MCoG. |
