Hi people, i was browsing the net for an answer to this question when i found this neat little website, so i thought maybe i'd ask here I'm not 100% sure whether this is a strictly a 80s cartoon, or an early 90s cartoon, but anyway... The show revolved around a group of Humans battling a group of skeletons on 'Star Wars'-style hover bikes in some kind of post-apocolyptic setting. I 'think' the leader of the humans had some kind of special sword or weapon of some sort. A key feature of the skeletons was that they were changed into these strange creatures by a crystal that was inserted into their ribcage, and could change back if the crystal was removed.... I used to really enjoy this show as it was one of the few shows i remember where they actually had a concluding episode( i remember this episode included a large river of lava at some point...), i just can't for the life of me, remember it's name! I hope my description wasnt too vague Thanks in advance! - Tristan |

Kinda sounds like Skeleton Warriors, the leader of the humans did have a sword in this and i remember the crystals. I think a big one was split in two which each side had a part of.

The Skeleton Warrior action figures were great and I'm surprised too about how short the series was, I dont know about the series but I remember the toys were very popular. Cryotek |

Nah TCC showed it JM, around the 3ish mark if memory serves. It wasnt my favourite toon but it was on around the same time as Cadillacs and Dinosaurs so i usually watched it. TCC had a habit of playing the same show over and over, no matter how many times we'd seen em. Dunno how many times i saw the Saved by the Bell summer special where they all went to work in a summer hotel type beach thing |
