Does anyone remember the Real Ghostbusters action figures on this board?.I'm trying to look for some berry good sites on info on the toyline :help: .My brothers used to have a crapload of Ghostbuster action figures. They had the Ecto car,the monsters that spit out slime, the playsets, and a Stay-Puff figure I used to steal and take it to sleep with me.

I even still have some of the figures downstairs in my basement in a huge bag that's mixed in with Ninja Turtles,Transformers, etc.

yeh, i remembr these :D

i was quite jealous cause my bro got the ghostbuster toys. he had ecto1 and a couple of the figures. plus he also had the ghost blaster thingy, the ghost trap and the ghost tracker thingy too. cause they glowed up in the dark we used to switch the lights off upstairs (obviously mum was downstairs cause we didn't want to crap ourselves) and go ghost hunting

I wanted the Ghostbuster's Proton pack, but I didn't like the hand held part with the wiggled plastic beam. :( There was another hand held device that shot glowing balls or puffed bits or something and came with ghost targets, but it didn't come with the backpack part. :angry1:
The ghost fighting toy I REALLY wanted though, was the shapeshifting car that came from the other Ghostbuster's line. The one from the radio show with the Gorilla sidekick. I could never find it though.

I remember having loads of tubs of the slime, ectoplasm, or whatever it was called.

There was a little monster hidden in each tub wasn't there?

One of the few toy lines I'd mostly collected.
I had all the original Ghostbusters, nearly all the Fright Features (push one of there arms and they're supposed to look "scared"), nearly all the Super Fright features (bit like Fright Features but it was a lever on the back instead of pushing the arms, and they wore divers/space suits), a postie who turned into a ghost, a blue ghost that squited warter and Ecto-1.

I had a couple of tubs of Ecto-Plasm but if I didn't use them for a few weeks, it's substance would change and it had to be chucked away.

Some of my favourite figures were Ghostbusters I remember getting a load of em' for my 5th birthday including a screaming Egon in a spacesuit and the werewolf in the ripped shirt and jeans who did a howling pose when you squeezed his legs together. I was a very happy kid that day! :jump4joy: I carried on buying them until I was about 8 then it was Batman figures all the way.

I didn't have any but one of my best friend had the fire house! It was so cool! I was so jealous! I can't remember if he had any of the action figures...but he probably did. He also had proton packs, the trap and the...ghost detector thingy (*sigh* I didn't realize how rusty my Real Ghostbuster trivia was...)
