Does anyone remember this cartoon?

I think it was called Diplodos. Basically it was about almost like teddybear-like dinosaurs. They used to help out two kids called Peter and Joan. (I remember that cause it was in the theme song).

It was around the late eighties, and I used to watch it on TCC. Though it might have been on another channel as well.

Ring any bells with anyone?

I can't be the only one that remembers this though. :(

I do remember that the leader of the group was orange with a black stripe across his eyes. I have absolutely no ideas on what type of dinosaur he was supposed to be.

One cartoon that comes to mind is called Dinosaucers. It's a cartoon about Dinosaurs from Outerspace that land on earth.

Yes I remember Diplodas. And it was pronounced like that (though I'm not sure of the spelling).

2 kids and a load of giant teddy bears (no idea what they were supposed to be) were trying to save a planet called Diplodas.

The Dinosaurs/teddy bears looked a bit like the guys from the computer game puzzle bobble but with black heads and coloured bodies (I can only remember green ones but there may have been others).

I remember the humour in it was a bit strange and I think it was a foreign one - possibly Japanese or Canadian.

That's brought back some memories of early mornings in front of the telly....

Yep, that's the one. But the lyrics were slightly different.

Nice one 80s man - I was thinking of the purple thing at the front but could have sworn it was green (probably getting confused with puzzle bobble :-) )

I think that also proves that yahoo's translator can't deal with "Diplodas"!

:D Either that are yahoo translator can't translate at all. I went to different translated pages and all I got was a blank screen before I found one that could translate.

My guessing it's a literal translation. It needs to be changed slightly to it fully understood.

It's abit like the Italian word for spaghetti, literally translated actually mean little worms.
