hey there, i love this site. it takes me back to my youth, with cheap knockoff videos of 80s cartoons. i was born n 1986 so i doubt any of my memories could be as vivid as they are unless i watched these shows as repeats in the 90s. anyway, onto the point. does anyone else remember silverhawks...or maybe it was thunderhawks...im not to clear on that. there were 5 metal clad flying people who threw discs at people that were attached to their thighs....the discs i mean...not the people. there was some sort of spaceship where they hung on..and a bald goodguy on a spacestation??? im afraid my memory is a little fuzzy. there was a space convict with a star shaped eye....a woman who played one of those keyboards that is held like a guitar and fired purple musical notes at people...and they all went around in a flying car i think. actually maybe these baddies were from something totally different. if you have any information on where i can find resources on any of them then please email me at rude_boy_mick@hotmail.com i also remember a cartoon where the heros were mutants...one had a magic mop. the bad guys had 4 arms and gas masks. they were green and one wore a purple suit. any ideas? |

The mutants one, where one of them had a mop is Toxic Crusaders.

Not 80's though, threw me for a bit. any ideas for the other stuff, a bad guy with a star shaped eye, toughie, doesn't ring any bells. |

![]() This her, couldn't find a pic of the flying car though! Jem and the holograms, featured a musical keyboard thing held like a guitar. The site won't let me post pics, but there should be a pic of the toys here that may help you. |

He's right with Silverhawks. The baddies used flying cars, and it was to all intents a straight translation of the Thundercats concepts to a sort of detective-agency style show in space, complete with a bad guy who could transform in certain circumstances. There's one tape of it around, which I have, and intro available here: 80s toons video intros |
