Apologies if there's already a thread for this...
But can anyone remember a guy who appeared on kids TV shows in the 80s who wore a papier mache type mask of a big head with black hair and reddish lips and had some raspy voice?
:questions:
I'm not imagining things as I saw him (or someone with a home-made mask) on a home-made Thunderbirds parody on ITV's Night of the Jedi when The Phantom Menace was released.
Please help.

Sorry, Criz, I don't smoke.
Done a bit of Google searching and came up with this image:

(It's the one in the middle; don't know who the other two blokes are but the bottom could be Criz (only kidding as well))

Sorry, forgot to mention that his name is Frank Sidebottom.
I do remember his Mini-Me version and I think he starred in a Saturday morning programme and he played the villain in some drama where the hosts are the heroes.
Maybe my mind's playing tricks, I'll have to investigate.....

Well, haven't found anything on kids shows but he did appear in a Channel 4 game show called Remote Control.
Might start another thread on that (unless there's already one).
