does anybody remember wackaday?

perhaps you watched it, remembered that 'itsy bitsy teeny weeny yellow polkadot bikini' song that timmy mallet was going mad to with his mallet.

clobering kids on the head with a huge foam mallet, god what i would have given to be on that show back then.

wasn't it on going live? (saturday morning show i think)

I used to love that show but mostly for the whach attack game where you had to keep coming up with words related to the last one and you couldn't repeat any.

timmy mallet has visited coventry twice since then - i keep forgetting to go and see it as the club he goes to is a little formal and the ticket prices are a bit to get in.

I heard rumours that somebody stole his mallet

he did on some episodes, he also wore some extreme shirts too. I saw a recent picture of him though - he is beginning to age now.

I watched it for Transformers. :P

Yeh me 2 - they only showed 5-10 mins episode of Transofmers at a time! If you lucky u might get a double bill!

Looking back at it - it was funny how everyone include Timmy Mallot Transformed by bending over - saying "Transformers transform" before it came on!

:)

How did that Mallets Mallets game go - 2 ppl had to say words or something to each other, and the one that looses get hit on the head with the Mallot!

I'm sure that was Child assault - poor kids with their plasters/band aids afterwards! hehe

P.S. If you wanna catch a glimse of Timmy Mallet, he's lives near my friend in Cookham, out of West London near Maidenhead! Apprently my friend always see's him hanging around Cookeham high street and the local areas!

*nods head* I need to stop hanging around West London!

wasn't there a game (dont know if it is from wackay) where you were asked questions and you had to sayt the wrong answer else you loose. Its not as easy as it sounded as your mind begins to wonder after a minute.

great show though.

i loved wackaday. he had a cockatil that did tricks and wore really silly glasses.
i remember the mallet game as being word association, for example:
fish - chips -peas -carrots
but you couldn`t repeat a word already said.

mallets mallet is a word assossiation game. You musn't pause, you musn't hesitate, otherwise you get a whack on the head like this, or like this. Look and the camera and go blurgh, look at each other and go blurgh!!!
How sad is it that I remember that! I'm 26 now. But I LOVED Wackaday in the school hols!!

Me and my sister got a wac-a-pac with the secret things inside that was.... a secret. We've still got them, and their contents, how sad.
