I was on the BBC I Love TV website and saw the name of one of my all time favourite BBC series "The Box of Delights".

I bought it on video recently for about £2 in an HMV bargain bin. My sister (totally separatley from me) bought it in the same week for about £20!

It's a Christmas tale set in England when there was still an upper-class and they had servant and a 10 yr old boy was master of the house if no adults were in. It was very scary with horrible wolves and weird animation sequences. The "box" was a small tinder box which if you press the catch one way you would go small and the otherway you would be "swift" fly very fast. Of course you could do both at once.

I also loved the Narnia series of "The Lion the witch and the Wardrobe" and "The Voyage of the Dawn Treader". Classic!

I loved the Box of Delights as well. If you look at the link below at the bottom of the page you can play a couple of clips which really bring back memories (obviously this is more for other people because you actually have the video lol).

i liked the box of delights - though its been a very long time

cronicles of narnia are good, think tv only did book 2,4,5,6 of it
mind you, for time 1 & 7 might of been too complecated to do and 3 is set mostly in desert place, so guess that would of been too costly  :)

They are making a film of the lion the witch and the wardrobe, its supposed to come out next year. There was an ad for it in a magazine I was reading a few months ago, which seemed a bit premature to me! Could be interesting though. I bet they make a whole series of the chronicals of narnia.

I've got the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe on dvd, I thought there were only six books.

Magicians Nephew
Lion the Witch and the Wardbrobe
Voyage of the Dawn Treader
Prince Caspian
The Silver Chair
The Last Battle

The last five are all available in dvd I think, I'm fairly sure I've seen them.

I liked the Narnia stories, on TV and the books. Would be interesting to watch a new film.

A films of the Narnia Chronicles sounds pretty good, but they could totally ruin it!

Mind you I thought that about Lord of the Rings and MY GOD that was good!

Harry Potter, not so good. Easy watching, nice viewing, but did not totally blow me away. They should have had Tim Burton directing them. How fab would that have been.

I really liked both the first HP and LOTR but the second ones of both didn't do a lot for me.
