The Girl From Tomorow, I think it was an australian program from maybe the early 90s, there was a girl from the year 3000 who got trapped in the past, and there was a bad guy who was after her for some reason. She had this weird head band thing that let her move stuff with her mind and she ended up staying with a girl called Jenny who had pink hair and her brother Petey. I used to love that show, but I don't think it was shown since. Mike and Angelo, something to do with a bloke from outer space whose ears were backwards Woof, a kid turned into a dog The tomorrow people, people with powers who could teleport and stuff Did anyone else watch them? |

I'm not sure about Girl From Tomorrow (if she was called Alanna and had long dark hair then I do remember it after all) but definitely watched the others. Mike and Angelo was v weird, and I think possibly one or both of the actors changed at one time but I used to watch all the time anyway. Another odd show from the time was What on Earth, with an alien called What who had funny ears and had to wear a sherlock holmes hat to cover up. They were all great programmes, not like the rubbish they have now  |

No, I've never heard of it, has it got anything to do with the book by John Wyndham? Cus it it has, I've read it. Cool story, but I had no idea there was a series (if it was that!) |

Does anyone remember Rod Hull & Emu? People said it was rubbish, but I thought it was really funny. "There's somebody at the door" GROTBAGS!!!!!!
Then after that came good old He-Man or She-Ra. Saved By the Bell was another good programme which was on the summer holidays. I remember Vicky the Viking, was it Oxtails? Olly the Ox Im sure it was a cartoon. Maybe others can help out here. |

Saved by the Bell is still on cable and Sky but I wouldn't recommend watching it as it ain't as funny as I remember it! Anyone remember Spratz? Was it musical or did hey just do loads of dancing? One of the guys was a mime artist or something wasn't he? Oh and Press Gang! Ah those were the days!

Anyone remember 'Street Wise', was about a group of Bike Couriers from London, it starred the Girl from TV Series 'Me & My Girl' , and the mighty Andy Serkis (Gollum from Lord of the Rings) Think it was one of Andy Serkis' 1st acting roles....?

I remember What on Earth and Mike and Angelo, they were both great. Woof was funny too. I'm still trying to work out which showed the best cartoons - CITV or BBC, Charlie Chalk and Penny Crayon were great , they were on BBC I think but What on Earth and Mike and Angelo were CITV. I thinkwe just used to flick between the two. Saved by the Bell was cool too, everyone used to fancy Zac. The new ones arent as good tho, the earliest ones were the best |

CITV showed the best cartoons in the 80's to early 90's. I remember a Saturday morning show, created by CITV. It was called No.73, & Im sure Neil ? who hosts Art Attack used to present it. But I know they showed all the great cartoons from Transformers, Go-Bots, He-Man. Also cartoons like Danger Mouse, She-Ra, Mask, many others where on CITV. I can't really think of good cartoons from the 80's on CBBC. Perhaps when I was relly young Postman Pat lol

I seem to remember having to flick back and forth between the two channels every night, as soon as one thing went off it was time to flick to the other station. It's just lucky me and my brother and sister liked the same programes, or it would have been a disaster! lol. Bucky O'Hare was on BBC, wasn't it? That was a good one. Did anyone else see when they showed the last episode and they had the words to the song on teletext? My dad coppied the down for us so we could sing along! haha
