Did anyone used to watch Doctor Who? I loved it as a child, and remember a few of the doctors including Peter Davidson and Sylvestor McCoy. The best 'baddies' by far I think, were the Daleks. I also remember the Cybermen. I think this is due to come back onto our screens next year, but I'll probably be gutted because I bet it won't be anywhere near as good as the original, plus I won't be looking at it with a child's eyes! |

Yes, and then I lost all respect for him when he turned up in "The Braithwaites" - what a stupid programme that was! |

I really enjoyed Doctor Who, I can mainly remember the Sylvester McCoy doctor and his scarves. I was sooooo frightened of the daleks I used to hide behind the sofa. My mother in law used to be a guard on trains and says that former Doctor Who Tom Baker was on there quite a lot and he used to have a 'look at meee aren't I great' attitude and she took great delight in pretending not to recognise him.

I only saw the last two seasons of Dr Who until it got axed. Wonder what the new Dr Who will be like? I hope Paul McGann will be at the start so he can regenerate into Christopher Eccleston and keep continuity. (McCoy starred in the American pilot) |

I actually didn't watch Doctor Who because it finished before i would have been about 1 or 2 then. But when i was about 6 or 7 my mum or dad had bought "Doctor Who, The Early Years - The Daleks" and that was the first time i saw it. Of course i hid behind the sofa, and ever since that i used to have terrible nightmares of the daleks coming after me. I prefer the William Hartnell/Patrick Troughton era because it was in black and white and i think it's more scary being like that. Favourite Doctor Who story is "The Dalek Matserplan" even tough a lot of the episodes are missing. I remember recently i had a dream about the daleks had invaded earth and they tried to get into my house. I was dead scared but then i remembered that they couldn't get up stairs!!! So i just laughed at them instead. |
