Does anyone remember a kids gameshow on BBC1 that was called "Wetter the Better"? There was a round where the 2 teams had to throw spunges to knock rubber ducks off this circle into the water. The more they knocked off, the more points they got. Also there was a question round where the teams take it in turn to answer questions sitting in chairs over the pool. When they got the answer wrong, the presenter used to say "dunk down" and the chair seat dropped to make them fall into the pool. Another round was when the team had to rescue one of their members of this floatin island in the pool. They had to paddle in a dingey to reach them. Once the got them safely into the dingey, they had to climb a ladder and ring a bell that was at the top. The team with the most points made it to the final where their headteacher sat underneath a tank filled with water. The team had to answer a number of questions in a certain time to make the water fall on the headteacher. Then they won a prize. Anyone remember please? |

Didn't Get Your Own Back have an annoying double-barreled surnamed presenter. Aha I think it was Dave Benson-Philips and I couldn't stand him. Was it the show where you went on with a teacher and you gunged them or they gunged you? |

basically it was 2 teams of one kid one adult, and the 'loser' went on to gunge stage, where the kid and adult are asked questions, who ever got th least questions right went in gunge |

I liked it on gunging programmes when they got completely covered in gunge but all often they'd be stood out the way or have their head down and hardly got any on them  I think it should have sprayed from the sides as well as the top when it was done in a cubicle for maximum coverage. |

Most kids on gameshows are smirking brats. There's always a fat one that you feel sorry for in one of the teams though

You not thinking of "We Are the Champions" are you? The last couple of games were always set in the swimming pool. |
