I woke up this morning at 8:30 expecting to read the show. Expecting to put up my review, and expecting to get right on with the next week's roleplay. Needless to say, this isn't what I expected. I want to continue building the Jace Valentine character, and it really sucks that I have to jump ship to another federation. Justin, I completely understand your reasoning though, and it was great to last this long. I just looked at the PWA and NSWA pages, and neither look like a fed that I'm interested in joining. I'm looking at NLW now, and it looks decent. Is there an operating OCW page? Where are the rest of us jumping ship to? If I'm joining a new fed, I would prefer it to be with some people I'm familiar with, and with a system similar to CWF's. Let me know guys, Jace isn't done yet. |

Oh dear, I'm not sure I'll be able to RP for the PPV. I'll have to let you know... Well, this has been fun. I really need to give Rish some props, for encouraging me to come to CWF. And I'm really glad I did. I used to absolutely suck. Ask Ace, he went through the torture of reading my first RP ever over in GCWA. I only started in November, my e-fedding career. I would really like to thank everyone involved who helped me become a better writer, and show that I can do it. That it is possible. I know people had doubts about me at the beginning, and I can see why. But I'm proud to say that I think I've grown and I'm proud of myself for that. But I owe it all to most of you. For striving for me to get better, and I really appreciate it. And Rish, you have been amazing, writing these shows, putting them together, and just being a great friend to me who felt out of place at the beginning. I couldn't of been here without you, and I'm grateful that I am here. Thank you all for this absolutely wonderful experience, Troy |

Alright, let me give a brief overview on how I do things in NLW: NLW was originally reopened back in 2008 as an RP alternative for all the guys I knew who wanted to RP but couldn't handle the main grind that most feds put you through. To that end, NLW has always run shows every other week, with a RP window of 10 days for 2 RPs (3 for the main). Mathematically speaking, this works out to be almost exactly the same as CWF's RP window, just that you have 2 RPs for a match instead of 1. This schedule also help prevent burnout for myself and people assisting with match writing, as the longer window let us focus on writing more quality matches as opposed to quick ones so we get it all done in time. This page lists the rules of the fed, as well as describes my approach to grading. I'm very flexible with RP styles and there have been successful people in NLW over the years with about any style you can imagine, from comedy (Jin Royale), to dramatic (Josh Allen) to old school (Venom). I also tend to give feedback to RPers every so often when I find the time, as I feel as a fedhead it's my responsibility to assist the people RPing under me in refining their style so that they can be more successful and so they aren't left wondering what it is I think about their character or RPs. I also have a set feedback forum on the boards for people to post in to either get feedback from myself or my right hand man Duane (The Phoenix, he helped grade the first Legacy tournament). As far as booking plans go, my current plan is to put together a card as I get the people for it, but hold off until the end of the month for actually opening the RP window so that way anyone with commitments here and in the GCWA can finish up what they're doing there before starting in on a new fed if they decide to come over to NLW. I will also be holding the annual Path of Destiny tournament once the fed opens. In the past, this tournament has been used to determine who the NLW Champion is due to the title being vacant, but since I know already that my last champ is returning the winner instead will be granted a Money in the Bank style title shot for any title in the fed that can be cashed in prior to the booking of any show (provided the champion didn't ask for said show off ahead of time). Since I want this to be a way for people to get established quickly I will specifically be offering slots into this tournament to handlers who aren't returning NLW vets first, as the tournament has always been about showcasing new blood within the fed. Also, it should be noted that I treat booking for cards a bit differently than most fedheads. I only run a few (3-4) PPVs a year as the every other week schedule makes building for them a bit difficult. I also generally only book one title match per card, and the title match will almost always be the main event on a given card. In NLW all the titles are treated very seriously, and any champion deserves the spotlight when they are defending their gold. If you guys have any other questions let me know, but that should give you a brief overview of what I'm about. |

Hmmmmm...I still have it bookmarked, Matt. That's awesome. I'm glad you're going to be running NLW again because, honestly, that's where I wanted to go after OWF went kablooey. I found GCWA due to you and the advertising for the WR Tourney. I never joined here because...well, because I can only do one fed at a time. I'm too busy for two. Now...do I join NLW and be where I wanted to be...or join OCW...this is tough and will take me a little while to decide. I'm glad to have an option though. |

Aha, hey Silence, how's it hanging? Lopes, Mark and Scott are all in. Caleb's a possibility, as is Trent. |
