Hey all,

I wanted to get this out in the open since I'm enjoying CWF and I'm enjoying hanging around and working with the roster and staff/creative, and I guess this just seemed like the right time. I am not new to the CWF roster, and I joined under the false pretense that I was a newbie because I wasn't sure how I would be received if I joined CWF under my old pseudonym. I've told a handful of people this already, and I've already discussed this with Danni, Ross and Justin, but I wanted to clear the air for people who didn't know, and especially for Danny B, who I hope to work with in the future.

When I was previously in CWF, I went under the name Michael Desfait. A lot of people around here ended up with a bad impression of me, and I can't help but admit that this impression was largely my fault. In fact, no, I wasn't the easiest person to work with a year ago and I definitely had an ego about EFedding and writing in general, but I wanted to come back and prove to myself that I could get along and just be myself instead of worrying about drama and BS, and that's why I lied and invented Marcus Delamere - it just seemed easier, but now I realize that lying is but another fast lane to the same roadblock I encountered a year ago. I want people here to trust me and know that they can work with me and not be condescended or looked down on or overlooked.

First and foremost, I want it to be clear that I'm so impressed with the roster and the fact that CWF has stayed here for a full year. I'm really enjoying a lot of the writers here who have gotten better (Cain, Elisha/ja, Highlander) and those who are new. For those of you who are new, don't bother reading this because I hope to make a fresh impression on you... because you're the biggest suckers :P

Clearly, I like everyone else have character flaws, as has been constantly pointed out by a close friend of mine who for some reason remains my friend to this day; he's the only friend I fight with, yet for some reason it seems like a productive friendship. For instance, I'm a pain in the ass to debate with - I have a philosopher's mind, and I enjoy a thorough back-and-forth, and sometimes that offends people and for this I apologize thoroughly and in advance, because I don't find myself happy with offending people, and I realize that not everyone likes a good debate. I'm also generally outspoken and opinionated, but I think that's a good quality, and that over the last year I've learned to be more positive and not condescending or demeaning, and I hope that I can continue to prove that I've grown through working here with you guys. This post, while thoroughly unnecessary, is intended to raise Sam Shepard's proverbial Buried Child so that I am being fully forthright with all of you and, hopefully, the same will come in return.

Most importantly to being forthright, unfortunately, is the fact that some of you may still have a negative opinion about me. Make no mistake, I understand this, and in some cases I believe it's justified. I'm also not interested in starting drama for CWF, or on the boards, or anything like that, so if there are any unanswered questions or discussions of that matter to be had, feel free to message me and I'll be more than happy to discuss, make amends, etc. This is my mea culpa, and I hope that after today I can begin the process of penance.

Again, I know this post was unnecessary, but I also feel like by posting it I'll stop feeling like this is some shady secret I'm carrying around - that I'm the douche named Desfait/Delamere or what have you. Best wishes, and hopefully this isn't the most retarded thread you've read this week (I nominate my Grinch photoshopped 'deuces' photograph).

Cheers,
Patrick

It's cool that you came clean. Although I disagree. I don't have character flaws. :P

As EVERYONE knows.. I dont' "do" drama. I build and uplift people.. blah blah blah. But seriously. Enjoy CWF. just like everything in life don't take this stuff too seriously. I try not to. That's why I joke around and make fun of people. And I let people make fun of me (only fair right?) I'm sure i've pissed a couple people off here or there. I used to make some kid cry back in the day from being an a-hole.

Just have fun. Keep your nose to the ground. Continue to build people up and offer advice when asked or if you feel it's positive. And above all else, don't piss me off.

Enjoy your new character and time in CWF.

Justin and I were discussing you a little while back, speculating whether or not you were...uh, you.

The conclusion I came to was "Well, as long as he's not a douchebag, I don't care if he's Desfait or F. Matos." I feel this way knowing for sure. You're a solid writer and have been a good presence here since your return; I don't feel like you're "politicking" or anything this time around.

All in all, I don't think we have a problem unless one is started. As far as I'm concerned, you have tabula rasa here. Thanks for being honest, and welcome back.

Sorry to burst your bubble buddy, but I already knew.

Your writing style has not changed, and after speaking to you on msn I knew for certain. I was around when you were Desfait buddy. You may have gotten on the wrong side of people before, but that was then and this is now.

Dont worry about the past and look forward to the future, you bring an amazing about of talent to this company and you can go far. Besides we have had people that have gotten up our noses more than you ever did, all I can see on that matter is that I am glad Rik and Troy arent here at the moment, because they could have a field day thinking of that nightmare, they may even howl at it.

Good luck for the future here and we can look forward to working with you.

Dont underestimat the intelligence of the ripper in the future lol ;)

I wasn't assuming you didn't know, but in light of the storyline we'd been discussing, I wanted you to know what you may/may not be getting involved with for sure before you committed to anything.

No homo.

To be honest, I didn't really assume anyone didn't know, but this was more about me coming clean than really surprising people.

Just so long as you make sure to post that it's in regards to me. I want people to know what a raging queer-a-sexual Marcus Delamere is... Joking aside, I DID have a huge "No homo" up above... I guess it was prodigious.

Totally. Wait, what? You must be some sort of gay, talking like that about gays. I'm not gay. I like women, and vaginas, and their balls--boobs! Boobs! Aww, and it was too late...

The Delamere method is never to stare... always to touch. I follow the method of Marc Montgomery - Private Detective.

Get used to it, Ninja. You're going to be like that for the rest of your life.

You want your first kiss?

Find a girl you like, walk up to her, put your hand on her shoulder and tell her that you'll pick her up at 8. Then slowly turn and walk away. She'll wonder what that was all about, and follow you to ask (She's invested something at this point). Tell her "I'm taking you to a movie."

You have your date, and while on it, flirt a lot. At the end of the night, tell her that you want to be respectful and not kiss her. 8 times out of 10, she'll kiss you.

Next thing you know, she'll be polishing your sword.

Oh, and Patrick... welcome back.

King? I don't know how many times its worked for you but if a guy walked up to me and did that I'd do one of two things:

1. I'd probably just ignore him, and assume he's either got me mistaken or that he's slow or something (not that I have anything against slow people etc mind you)

or...

2. I'd punch him in the face... Well not quite but that might work for some guys on some girls but when it comes to seduction you just gotta find what works for you and what your comfortable with lol

Chandler hunni, when the time is right it'll happen... ;)

In the meantime there's the internet...

Oh and welcome back Patrick!!!! :)

Sorry, I left out a vital detail: You must know the girl before you try this, Ninja.

Alternate method:

Walk up to the girl and start to obviously stare at her to get her attention. (No lower than her mouth, perv.)

She'll inevitably ask what you're looking at. Respond with "I've never seen a girl so close to perfection! Everything about you is perfect... except one thing."

She'll ask what the one thing is.

Say "You're not with me."

(Jazz, that one actually did work for me back in the day.)

Or simply try this method:

Walk up to a girl and say this:

"Hi, I'm Chandler. What's your name?"

^60% of the time, it works every time.

This reminds me of that one time that Chaolin Sahn left and then three weeks or so later, some new and completely unrelated guy named Jace Valentine showed up!

Their writing styles were similar, and a few people thought they were really the same person. Rish checked their IPs, but alas! They were different! Then he asked Sahn if he was going to rejoin soon...over and over and over and over and over (and over) again. Sahn told him that he had already re-joined...but as a brand new character!

And Jace Valentine was born!

Oh...wait. What were we talking about again?

That's right! Welcome back, haha...for the record, I knew it was you.
