Psych File- Part 4; Meeting The Boyfriend
Topic Started: Feb 3 2010, 03:41 AM (72 Views)
The Psych Files

15th April 2004

I went to the very first event of Amber’s fed- well, it wasn’t exactly hers but she was a founding member of said fed which had been called UCA- Ultimate Chaos Association...
I’d been impressed by what they’d done considering most of them were barely 16/17 years old- unfortunately my lack of knowledge let me down so while people around me chattered excitedly about manoeuvres I stood there like a retard at a MENSA convention, however I resolve to further my knowledge if only for the sake of Amber.
My she’d grown, still as rough as ever she’d started to fill out her frame- standing now at 5’4 maybe 5’5 and 125 lbs- she was certainly starting to look more like a serious fighter...
At our last session she’d brought along her boyfriend who she constantly referred to as McQuade, his wrestling name she told me, there was something about him that didn’t sit right.
He behaved like a normal boyfriend would but I dunno- my gut feeling was against this union, I couldn’t describe it like he seemed nice enough but then again those who seemed “nice” were the ones who usually ended up as serial killers- maybe that was an exaggeration but I think my point was understood.

Maybe I was wrong, maybe this guy really did care about her but he just came across as a materialistic jerk but hey that was just me.
I’d spoken to her parents the week before, not that it was much use- her mother seemed to be out of it for the most part while her father- well, he didn’t seem impressed with my presence and was more than happy to see the back of me.
This was my first encounter with her father- seeing as he’d just served a rather long stretch for aggravated burglary, but that was none of my business- what was my business was his attitude towards his only daughter- at first mention he queries me as to “what has that silly bitch done this time”... His attitude worsened from there, leaving me no choice but to retreat before it turned violent.
Only after I recounted my meeting with her parents did she proceed to tell me she wasn’t living at home most of the time- she went between staying with friends and spending the nights out on the streets- a disturbing situation though I was heartened to know that she at least had a source of income...
Besides her part time wrestling she’d taken up street performance, I don’t mean your usual side walk freak show- I mean busking, street dance and other sorts of performance arts between her and the crew she ran with.

As a final note- I was asked to write up a psychological report with notes and predictions for what I see in her future- all for research apparently but with the society as nosey as it had become I wasn’t sure.
