For now, the Paradise PPV is broadcast live on our old forums! http://s6.zetaboards.com/CWF_Wrestling_Forums/topic/10038666/1/#new It will soon be available on our brand new website, so stay tuned. Thank you to everyone who wrote segments or matches for this one, I've had a very wild and horrible weekend but I appreciate everyone pulling together and putting together another amazing CWF show. You guys are the shit, for real. Now let's get this magnificent show read and reviewed, enjoy! Overall Rating (1-10, 10=best, 1=Worst): Best Match: Best Commentary Line: Best Segment: Honorable Mention: Best Surprise: Best Feud/Storyline: MVP of the Week: Ending Thoughts/Predictions for the next show: EDIT by The Weaver of Dreams: Since some people have asked for credits for who wrote what, here we go, using the character names for the writers for easier reference. Overall Rating (1-10, 10=best, 1=Worst): 9.25 Best Match: A lot of great ones to chose from, but Mia vs. Azrael for me. It was so imaginatively written and really enabled you to visualize everything that was hanging from the ceiling and every bit that happened! Best Commentary Line: Thankfully also a lot to choose from, but this one gets the nod for its added bit of quirkiness. Mike Rolash: Things have certainly picked up for Ataxia lately. Not only does he have a great prize to show-off to the CWF Universe. He is also the CWF Impact Champion. Jim Gunt: I’m going to assume you mean Mia Rayne. I have to ask. Who the hell shipped them together? Mike Rolash: It’s like the whole Stay-Puft thing, someone thought of it and POOF it just happened. Best Segment: Game Over. It was intense, furthered a lot of things, from Ouroboros' strength and ruthlessness, Impakt's "demise", the tension between Elisha and Rish and the hype for the pirate match, excellent work! Honorable Mention: No Crown for "The King" and Laying Claim for setting up King vs. Starr. Best Surprise: Difficult, but I hope for Dorian being revealed as the fourth Forsaken ![]() Best Feud/Storyline: Unpopular choice, but Elisha vs. The Shadow. We've just been able to build this over so long now and despite being a second match keep the intensity high, Jonty is just so awesome to work with for this and these two characters just fit together so well... MVP of the Week: Caledonia. Deserved win after consecutively delivering top notch material week after week! Ending Thoughts/Predictions for the next show: A lot of debris to sort through... A Coming Storm - The Shadow Hello World - The Shadow Dorian vs. Haze vs. Revenant - J. Rish Ahasuerus - Elisha Elisha is coming and he is not coming alone. The image of the black ship with crimson sign is strong and Elisha's speech is also very powerful, talk about an entrance in style! Overall Rating (1-10, 10=best, 1=Worst): 9 Best Match: Going to be selfish and say the main event. If only because my heart rate was up surprisingly high during it lol. Honorable mention to Elisha vs Shadow, if only for the effort that I know went into researching the nautical terms for it. Best Commentary Line: Mike Rolash: Things have certainly picked up for Ataxia lately. Pure brutality that makes you viscerally feel the impact on... well, on Impakt. And yet managed to further Impakt’s story, as well as make Ouroboros look strong, and build hype for the Pirate Ship Plunder match. Honorable Mention: No Crown For The King 2nd Honorable Mention: The commercials Best Surprise: ALESTORM! But also Impakt joining the Fatal Fourway. Best Feud/Storyline: Really hard to go past Shadow and Elisha here. These two build such an amazing mythology, and this match was a great culmination (for now!) MVP of the Week: MJ Flair. Hats off for a great feud. Ending Thoughts/Predictions for the next show: It’s going to be an interesting month! |

Overall Rating (1-10, 10=best, 1=Worst): 9.25. A lot of storylines culminating and being furthered, great action, very good segments and I found the whole show had just an amazing flow throughout, well done, everyone! Best Match: A lot of great ones to chose from, but Mia vs. A Coming Storm I wrote. Usual Church and State, but I had this weird idea of having some live music for our official title song and I actually contacted Alestorm and they were ok with me using them for the segment Not that I really needed to do that, but it feels cool to have the official endorsement by them. Once the show is up, I will send them a link and hey, it would be awesome, if they'd share it.Hello World Obviously I wrote (don't think anybody else is insane enough to do this), since people liked that each team had a match I did it again and I tried to bring in some comedy into it as well with State trying to speak foreign. Dorian vs. Haze vs. Revenant Love the setting in the empty casino and that Church and State are there. Since everything is close to each other and there is some time between the international introductions and them sitting at their desk at the casino, I think that the continuity works. Very nicely intense match with some cool spots, great start to the show and I think everybody got some good exposure in this one. Ahasuerus Elisha is coming and he is not coming alone. The image of the black ship with crimson sign is strong and Elisha's speech is also very powerful, talk about an entrance in style! Maximum Effort Tied in with the previous segment, Impakt is trying to make a, well, impact and who better to target than Elisha? But...one young man alone against Ouroboros? NOT a good idea! Thankfully there is a calming voice. No Crown for "The King" Loved everything in here, from the scathing promo of Starr over him having to hand over his belt to Rish to Ataxia's hilarious award, awesome segment! Crazy Chris vs. Christian Starr Very entertaining match between the two Chris(tian)s. Good use of the extra ropes and whatnot for some really cool spots, Starr is on the warpath and yeah, it shows! Accompaniment Nice change of pace with Mia and Ataxia sharing a moment. I really like this storyline, because it is so nice and different from what we usually have. Commercial Blanketing these, I wrote as usual and hope they are entertaining enough. Mia Rayne vs. Azrael Now I am usually not someone into the hardcore and blood and violence and whatnot stuff, but this was one of the most original and best written hardcore ones I have seen yet. I think the fact that it is not your usual stuff that happens is what really made this match stand out so much. Both sides have some awesome moments and I love the one, where Azrael is swinging from chain to chain. This was a really tight match, I think if Azrael would have gone against many others in this show, he would have won. Storm on the Horizon Ominous! Very nice, dense atmosphere and I just love Eris in this one. At first the curse and then them being confused about their thems. Fair Fight Surprising stipulation for the tag title match and the Aces are ready for the battle! Amber vs. Silas Strong showing by Silas, he definitely had something to prove and it's clear that he is not the same Silas that went into Modern Warfare. Amber is a tough nut to crack, though, and one that is very difficult to rp against. Her knee might be ominous for the nearer future, though... Surprised that the Coalition doesn't accompany anymore, though. Over the Dune from Far Away I wrote. A small big development with the document, which is going to be explained more in the next rp, where everything between my last rp and this segment will be narrated. Jarvis King vs. Shane Donovan A good old Last Man Standing. As usual a very, very well written match and great back and forth and up and down and inside and out... This feud has been one of my favourites of the last few months and I hope that these two are not just going to disappear into retirement again. At least as long as we can keep that belt on Jarvis, he doesn't have a choice... Hah! Laying Claim Yes, Starr, warpath, right here. Starr vs. King could be THE next huge feud! Can't wait to see more! Ship Ahoy This segment is what happens when you listen to the theme song of the PPV to get things right and then forget to turn off the auto play on Youtube and get to another song that fits. Lagerstein are a real band, too, btw. And Alestorm are fun enough to keep them around for a second one. Lost Boys vs. Smokin' Aces Great match that really showed the Lost Boys being torn very well, even though they show that they still can fight a good fight together. On the other side you have Styles and Jones all cool and collected! Lot of storyline pushed forward without taking over the match! Lost Cause Continues the Sam Braxton's desolate journey through emotional wasteland and has a first glimpse of Ouroboros against everybody else, this has been one of the most investing storylines right now and can't wait to see how it continues, it is built really, really well! Fatal Fourway Very interesting match, a lot of action, I like how the tide kept shifting throughout and then when Impakt comes in it ties it all together with the opening segment and is opening up things. I think that the match managed to still work despite the big interference and all, without taking it over too much, which was nice. Game Over The continuation and the unmasking of Zach. Very tight segment that shows Ouroboros act as a united front, but that their opposition is not just going to let them run roughshod and also shows the tension between Elisha and Rish. I took the liberty to add the little The Shadow/Elisha moment as final bit of buildup. So a LOT happening for a little segment like this! Out of the Haze Had to come up with a reason for Billy not showing, right? Plus gets some undercard heat going ![]() The Shadow vs. Elisha Obviously I wrote, who else would come up with such a harebrained idea? Seriously! But that being said, I had tons of fun writing this match and I was constantly worried I would be too far out and lose track of things, but I managed to get through with no casualties, which is a plus. I tried to make it as entertaining as possible, with some cool spots and an explosive ending. And not trying to toot my own horn, but I think the "Are you ready to die? - No, I don't have time for this" is just classic/epic! It's Time Great little segment to show the respect between the two main eventers. MJ Flair vs. Caledonia One hell of a match between the two First Ladies of CWF (yes, I am aware of the contradiction). Amazing flow and definitely keeping the reader at the edge of the seat at all times, a very worthy finale for an amazing show and a deserved title for one of the most consistently high quality roleplayer of the last few months! Congrats! |

Overall Rating (1-10, 10=best, 1=Worst): 9 Best Match: Mia vs Azrael - That was some Grindhouse type sadistic shit...and I loved it. It told a bloody, painful story which leaves each person with multiple directions Best Commentary Line: Things have certainly picked up for Ataxia lately. Best Segment: Game Over - Lots of stories to move forward. Zach/Impakt...that's the one I have my eye on most. Kid held his own before he was overrun. How does he recover...and what will he do against the Ouroboros when he does? Honorable Mention: Accompaniment - The TaxMia relationship is a lot of things....but most of all it's "puppy love"(bad singing voice) lol. Warms my spirit. Best Surprise: Caledonia becoming the champ. More of a kudos to the handler to work two related yet very different characters to the top of the charts. Who runs the (CWF) world? Girls lol (until the Aces come a calling...) Best Feud/Storyline: Elisha vs Shadow. There are levels to this shit...and I think they've only really gotten through the first one. THe next few chapters will be very telling. MVP of the Week: Caledonia Ending Thoughts/Predictions for the next show: Ryan watch, week 3. All eyes are on her and the dance of will she/won't she? A "smokin" main event. And more TaxMia please! |

Overall Rating (1-10, 10=best, 1=Worst): Far out...9, so damn close to a 10 I can smell it! Best Match: God so many! It's almost as if everyone brought their a games for match writinbg Props to Duce, I really enjoyed the tag title match. Shame I lost the titles, but makes the most sense. But if I absolutely had to pick one out of all of the great matches, it'd have to go to world title match! Congrats Dan! Best Commentary Line: Ugh...hard to pick something specific out of all that amazingness! Best Segment: Crown for the King Honorable Mention: Commercials always make me tither, Laying Claim Best Surprise: Dorian and the Forsaken?!?! WHat?! Best Feud/Storyline: Shadow v Elisha always an angle of epic proportions. Starr v King should be great! MVP of the Week: Cali for sure Ending Thoughts/Predictions for the next show: One of the best showings I've seen. Loved this PPV! The fallout should be interesting |

And here...we....go! Overall Rating (1-10, 10=best, 1=Worst): 8.5 - Show is clearly ramping up for the climax at Wrestlefest. Some nice stories are moving along and it feels like some are just getting planted. Best Match: Mia v Azreal. I won't lie, I hate blood oriented deathmatches like the ones Dean Ambrose and CZW use to do, but this match was quite gripping. Reminds me of the tone Tarantino and Rodriguez were going for when they made Death Proof and Planet Terror. Best Segment: Honorable Mention: It's Time - Just a nice little thing after the chaos that's unfolded. Much needed after the previous match. Best Surprise: Wasn't expecting Dorian and the Foresaken. Best Feud/Storyline: Shadow and Elisha, getting out of control. MVP of the Week: Caledonia personally. Ending Thoughts/Predictions for the next show: Let the road to Golden Intentions begin! |

A Coming Storm Of all the things I was thinking could open this show, I never would have imagined it would have been freaking Alestorm. Granted, with hindsight being what it is, I should have assumed something like this given the theme, but still... A fantastical way to kick off an amazing PPV. I felt that this was our equivalent to SummerSlam. A "big" event, but not the "biggest." Since joining though, I think that this was probably the best show that I've been a part of. Hello World I enjoyed the laughter element this segment provided. It was light hearted and zany, but not enough that it detracted from the fact that we were about to start enjoying an amazing PPV. While I didn't take the time to translate everything (though in this age of technology, I totally could have) it didn't take away from the point of the segment. The fact that we even have people to announce foreign teams just gives the fed a more realistic feel. Whomever takes credit for this idea, well done! Dorian vs. Haze vs. Revenant I was hoping for some for someone to be put through Church and State's announce table, but with everything else that's around, I can understand why I didn't see it happen. That said, I think that was my only complaint about the match. Fantastic use of the escalators, I winced when Rev's knee went into the slot machine and could almost feel it, and the finish was pretty fantastic. Great job by all! Ahasuerus It's almost an unspoken rule that the evilest of people, along with their respective crews, have a ship that they sail into wherever on, clad in all black, with nothing but evil intentions on their minds. That's no different than Elisha and Co. Dark, foreboding, a powerful speech that could turn the warmest blood ice cold. If there was anything missing from this segment, I didn't pick up on it. Who doesn't like a good entrance from Team Evil Doers? *Applause* Maximum Effort I'll admit, I was a fan of Impakt before, this segment only sealed the deal. It made me warm up to the character and want to root for him. It made me swoon a little bit when Shadow showed up to calm the raging tempest that was Impakt's emotions. The segment had all the elements of an awesome piece and it was very well done. No Crown for "The King" There was nothing wrong with this segment. At all. I loved it, everything about it. Right down to the Participation award from Ataxia. Everything here was just....Gold. Crazy Chris vs. Christian Starr This was a fun bout and while I was rooting for Chris as a fan, I knew deep down that Chris would work on his path to once again becoming a star. See what I did there? I know, I'm a bitch.... Anyways... The match was well done, I enjoyed reading it and I think that both people had a good showing. Props to Starr for winning and I look forward to reading about another meteoric rise to the top from Mr. #1derful, The Personification of Perfection....The one and only Christian Starr. Accompaniment I wrote this with Taxi's input. Everyone is surprised to see that Mia has a soft spot? Just wait... Semi colon, right parenthesis. Commercial While I did read a couple spoilers that were sent to me, it didn't prepare me adequately enough for reading, stopping, going back, rereading, and snorting with laughter. Multiple times throughout the PPV. Unexpected pieces of awesome in between awesome pieces of unexpectedness. I couldn't ask for more. Mia Rayne vs. Azrael I wrote this one and I REALLY wanted to make sure I not only did Mia justice, but also Az. He definitely deserved something more than a Mia dominated match and I certainly hope I delivered from that aspect of things. That said, I wanted to ensure that there was no love lost between the two. That and in all honesty I get tired of watching "WWE Presents: EXTREME RULES" or "WWE PRESENTS: TLC" or whatever else, have multiple No DQ matches, and not one person gets busted open. Granted I know we're in the era of PG and PC, but still. If you're going to market something like this, you gotta do the match itself justice. I hope I did so here.... Storm on the Horizon I think there's a lot more going on here than meets the eye, but I couldn't quite put my finger on it. This was one of those things that made me go... "Hmmm?" Scratch my head and then make multiple mental notes to pay attention in the future. It was a very well done segment though and I enjoyed it as I did the rest of the show. Fair Fight Freaking loved this stipulation and whomever thought of this can add "genius" to their resume. I don't understand why more people don't take advantage of something like this? Amber vs. Silas Both looked strong here, but in the end Amber proves why (and how) she earned that briefcase contract thingy. I'm a sap when it comes to in fighting and drama though, I soak it in like a sponge. They're my "stories" and this has only made me curious as to what the future holds for The Coalition, especially considering the oncoming match. Over the Dune from Far Away There were words and things.... Things way over my head. I'm hoping they'll be explained sometime in the future, but it leaves me confidant in Shadow. He's like that one sagelike guru of goodness that always has a trick up his sleeve. This just happens to be one of several tricks I'd imagine and it makes me excited for the time to come. Jarvis King vs. Shane Donovan Wow. I've always been one to love LMS matches. Like they were my stipulation of choice for a long time running. This one is proof evident why I enjoy them so much. Quite literally anything and everything will happen and it will keep you on the edge of your seat. This was a match that was certainly main event caliber and King and Donovan should be proud of everything left in that battle. Not only did we have a solid match, but the personal element behind it! Who doesn't like a wounded warrior coming back and pursuing the person that took them out? Add to that the personal history (I only slightly picked up on because that was the first Jarvis rp I've read...Now I want to read more... I know...Shame on me for being late onto the boat...) and this was candidate for match of the night! Laying Claim Leave it to the heel to do the douche thing at the end of a hard fought match. Granted, if I was in Starr's shoes and was the metaphorical bad guy, I'd totally do the same thing, so I can't really say much about "morality" here. Still, Starr continues to prove why he's an amazing heel and one to watch out for. The added touch with Ataxia's gift from earlier was nice as well. Ship Ahoy Who doesn't enjoy a good live show? Especially a surprise one in the middle of the night? Well played.... Lost Boys vs. Smokin' Aces I love tag team matches. Have I mentioned that to everyone? I enjoy watching them because if you have two tag teams working together to put on an amazing show, there's magic to be seen. Same can be said for this glorious hobby we all share. Tag team matches, when done right, create magical sparks of awesome. You guys made wildfires in the west look tame in comparison. Well done and congrats to the new champs! Lost Cause Ok... This one tugged on my heartstrings a bit. And when I say "a bit" I mean a lot. I wish I could say more, but I honestly don't believe I have the words to type that will explain how awesome this segment was to me. It showed everything it needed too and so much more. Just...Well done, I can't applaud you enough for this! Fatal Fourway Lots of shifting action, back and forth, every which way. Thank you to whomever allowed Mia to be selling her injuries, that was pleasant as I've asked people to do that before for one of my characters, and all of a sudden it's like they went to a miracle doctor that cured all of their ails. Anyways... The REAL surprise of the night for me was when Impakt came running out as the surprise 4th member of this match. I almost cheered out loud when I read that he was running down to the ring and I loved the impact he had on the match. He knew what he was doing when he went out there and he made that intention known. I'm happy with the ending as well of course, so kudos to you Ataxia! *smooches* Game Over Impakt was warned (he will ALWAYS be Impakt to me and nothing else) and I kind of saw this coming. Doesn't change how much it hurt to watch/read it happen. It was one of those moments that made me want to yell out for someone to help, ANYONE.... I honestly wasn't expecting for my calls to be answered. Well played.... The tension between Rish and Elisha could now be considered at "fever pitch" and then there was Shadow being like, "Oh yeah...And you still have me to deal with Elisha. P.S. You smell, your mother sucks, and your father smells of elderberries." There wasn't a single piece of this segment I didn't enjoy and it all fit together nicely. Well done to everyone involved! Out of the Haze I was honestly curious as to where Billy was and lo and behold, Xander Haze is found at the scene of the crime, or blessing depending upon who you ask. I'm sure Tyler would thank him for the favor. Still, Haze better not be coming after my title of "Stopper of The Unstoppable Force," cause you know... I worked hard on that.... Anyways... Short, sweet, to the point, and generates some heat on a new face in the fed. I like it. The Shadow vs. Elisha Am I the only one that thought of an epic pirate battle throughout this? The only thing missing was the damsel in distress for the hero pirate (Shadow) to swoop in and save. Another hard fought epic (because this wasn't a battle, it was a legit epic) in a long string of clinics on how to deliver the best possible feud ever in the history of ever. Like...Goodness gracious I loved every bit of this match, even the ending, which saw the "bad pirate" win. If the good guy won all the time though, it would make for a boring story. That and we didn't forget about Shadow's "even if I lose, I win!" moment that left Elisha with a stain in his pants I'm sure. Luckily, he wears black and it was raining. It's Time God damn I love these two. There legit is no "bad guy/good guy" scenario here. It's just two women looking to see who the better one is, mutual respect, and everything on the line. In the words of the wrestling coach on South Park, "THIS IS REAL WRASSLIN'!" MJ Flair vs. Caledonia Woah. I wasn't expecting the title to change hands in all honesty, but... If anyone was going to do it, it was going to be Caledonia. The match in and of itself is an instant classic on paper. Add to that the amount of time I'm sure was poured into actually writing it all out and this is a shoe in for match of the year! A round of applause for both competitors, a bouquet to our new Champ, and just....You should both be incredibly proud of this match. It was just.... I loved it. Another moment that has left me unable to type the words to formulate a coherent thought on what I thought of this match. Just...Be proud... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Unless I'm missing something...This is probably the BEST CWF show I've experienced since joining. Everyone that helped get the show up, write segments, matches, rps, whatever...Should be insanely proud over the quality of this PPV. Seriously. I've been in several EFeds in the past, I don't think I've ever been through a show like this before. Incredibly well done and it makes me proud to be a member of this fed. Also, side note.... I'm giving this show a solid 9.9...Nope...A well deserved 10. Job well done to everyone and just remember... The road to intentions is paved in gold....Or something like that.

A Coming Storm Could we have had a better setting of a scene than this one? The brilliance of Alex Melzer continues to leave me in awe every single pay per view, and this one clearly was no different. The opening to the Atlantic City Boardwalk drew me right into the scene, and then Alestorm coming on a pirate ship to rock out for the live fans? How could this show have any more of a "big show feel" than this? I mean...seriously? Wow. Hello World! International commentary teams, another reason to pat Alex on the back hard. Triple Threat: Dorian Hawkhurst vs. Revenant vs. Xander Haze It's not very often that I start one match half way through and have to pass it on to someone else to finish, but unfortunately this was the case with this match. Fortunately, however, this match was passed on to Mr. MVP himself Alex and he continued my flow and ended up with a very creative match. I hope all three felt like their characters got over, this match was actually a pretty hard one to call. Great showing by all three. Ahasuerus We're in the docks of Atlantic City, as ships arrive and leave. Oh my god am I loving this PPV already! I love how everyone is using this creative outlet to their advantage. Now as far as this segment goes; powerful. Ouroboros are here and they are here in a big way. Elisha is ready to lead them into battle, aye aye captain! Maximum Effort How often do we see one segment directly lead into the other? I mean sometimes the commentators segue into them when Alex or Pete include that type of thing to the show, but this was just brilliant "The ship carrying all members of Ouroboros to Paradise has docked into the Atlantic City pier and the crew busy themselves with preparing to disembark. Peeking from his position behind the curtain of the stage area beneath the Playground Pier and watching each member of the villainous stable is the young Masked Millennial known as Impakt." Such a great way to look back on the last seg, look forward to this one, and show the viewer right away that they are going to be tied together in some way. I also loved Impakt telling Shadow to stay away from his soul, lol. No Crown for "The King" Wow, this segment was truly a 10 outta 10. First we have an overly confident Christian Starr, then the exchange with him and Rish with Rish taking back the Paramount Title was classic, THEN we had an absolutely awesome storyline development with Starr & Ataxia. After we just teased a Starr vs. King feud. My GOD what a road to Wrestle Fest this is going to be! Big Top Match: Crazy Chris vs. Christian Starr Brand new gimmick match? Yes, please. The only thing I noticed that stood out negatively was that it seemed like Rolash was doing the play by play and Gunt doing the color commentary here. I write Jim Gunt to be a face play by play guy and Rolash to be the heel color guy. I don't mind a little differentiating on the characters, but I just wanted that to be clear to all the writers helping out. As far as the match itself goes, the tightrope thing definitely gave this one a really cool, unique feel. Both wrestlers looked pretty good coming out of this one with some great moves, and in the end Starr gets back to his winning ways. Accompaniment Mia Rayne saying "I knew you'd come" immediately gave me a Matt Hardy "broken" vibe, and I loved it lol. More furthering of the Mia/Ataxia love story, with Mia not wanting to have her doll see the brutality she is about to bring out in her match with Az. Always great stuff coming from the Forsaken members. Commercial Don Calamari has the best fish in town! Fantastic job with the commercials, what a staple they have become for our PPVs. *claps* Hope On A Rope Match: Azrael vs. Mia Rayne Okay, let's see what all this fuss is about lol. The spear into the mirror by Azrael, the crazed & bloody Mia, the "lavender" slaughterhouse, the blood, guts and brutality...holy shit was this one to remember. Peyton could have wrote for one of the Saw movies after seeing the kind of sick and twisted shit she can come up with here, haha. Seriously though, this was one of the most creative matches I have read in a long time. And that is saying something in a fed that always is one-upping each other. Great, great work. Congrats to both writers for great rps, and a great match that showcased both characters very well. A Storm on the Horizon "Caledonia: Eris, are they here? Eris: … okay, Eris is here, but for once I’m the one slightly confused by they/them pronouns…" I had to laugh at this, sorry lol. This segment was wonderful- the dialogue between Eris & Caledonia always feels so freaking natural, clearly a testament to two handlers who have worked together and done it very well in the past (and maybe will again in the future?). I loved how this segment started out light with these two and then when "they" were brought up it turned very solemn, with Cali telling Eris she won't give her an ultimatum to choose sides but that she may find herself in the middle of a war here soon. Fair Fight Dean: You Fair Dinkum? Freddie: About wrestling. Always. Nuff said. (other than this was a great segment and pushed the hell out of this match in the final "get-go"!) Amber Ryan vs. Silas Artoria The match read pretty well, had some decent action, but may have been a little bit tainted by it being switched and the scene that happened on the FB group afterward. But that is for another day, and water under the bridge now. Regardless, the match was still written well for the most part, and anyone that offers to write a match all I have to say really is thank you because I definitely could not do this on my own and I appreciate all the help you all provide. Let's move on. Over the Dune from Far Away A little bit of an issue with the spacing on this one on the new website; not sure if it's like that on the forums too or not but just reading through wanted to point that out. Regardless the dialogue between Shadow and Walcott is spot on as always, he is one of the Shadow's most trusted druids and once again he came through with the "Moon Child Book". Paramount Title Match: Jarvis King © vs. Shane Donovan This one has been an incredibly memorable feud, with Donovan going through two different Kings to get to the final big boss. To add a major twist to their storyline, Jarvis unexpectedly won the Paramount Title versus Christian Starr ahead of this match. Unfortunately due to personal circumstances Matt no showed, but John/Jarvis still wrote one hell of a match showcasing both characters so fucking well. Donovan unwrapping the mangled chair to sit on it after destroying Jarvis, Straightjacket Suplexing Jarvis, it almost looked like Donovan had it here. But nope, old Jarv is successful in his first defense of the Paramount Title and what a hell of a way to end this rivalry. Laying Claim Speaking of segments that lead from one to the next earlier, here we go again. Christian Starr coming back to "take what's his" and attack Jarvis as soon as the match is over, textbook stuff here. I feel bad for Jarvis though, after going through such a hellacious match then getting his ass whooped by the true King. lolShip Ahoy! Chips ahoy! Alestorm once again blows the roof all the place, and god damn makes me wish I was at this beachside concert. Fuckin' rock! Tag Team Title Pure Rules Match: The Lost Boys © vs. Freddie Styles & Duce Jones Pure Rules Match; I likes, and I definitely like how we get a very clear explanation of the match ahead of time from good old Jimbo. This match starting off with Sam & Duce makes sense, because I feel like with Dean joining Ouroboros he wouldn't even really want to tag with his old friend anymore, and also it made for a traditional "pure wrestling" type of beginning to the match. But then Duce yells at him to bring the "real fight", so I guess old school isn't good enough LOL. As far as the match goes the numbered rope breaks was a cool effect, and like I said I really felt this match brought us back to the old school days of wrestling. Some really good action here, definitely written well and we have ourselves new Tag Team champions! Well deserved win for Freddie & Duce, congrats guys! Line in the Sand Now we have the aftermath of Sam Braxton walking out on Dean and allowing Smokin' Aces to have their way with him at the end of the Tag match. I would like to know who the ? mark talent that wanted Sam to side against the Ouroboros, definitely made for an intriguing segment here. But as Elisha told him, he has now made himself a mortal enemy of both Dean and the Ouroboros, so he may be sorry. Impact Title Match: Ataxia © vs. Cassandra vs. Billy Anderson vs. Autumn Raven Match starts off with Anderson no showing (becoming quite the interesting storyline now lol), and both the two remaining competitors, both women, coming after Ataxia together. Why does the Messiah Pariah seem to be the ultimate ladies man these days? Anyway, this turns into one hell of a triple threat match, that is until "Cowboy" by Kid Rock once again hits over the speakers and out comes Billy And...nope. Impakt, with a cowboy hat! Mike's line about how awkward it would be to announce Impakt as Impact champion gave me a nice little snicker. Him going after Cassandra with his hatred for Ouroboros made perfect sense. But the distraction of Impakt & Ouroboros' war was enough for Ataxia to retain the gold!Maximum Effort In this segment a defiant Impakt stands his ground, taking out each member of the Ouroboros with the Combo Breaker before it is only him and Elisha remaining. That is until Elisha catches Impakt's last attempt at a Superkick and then the group absolutely decimates him. I mean holy crap, what a beatdown for the poor guy. In the end Rish breaks up the battle after Impakt is embarassed and unmasked, and we even see an appearance from the Shadow warning Elisha that his time has come tonight! Out of the Haze Very interesting little segment! Billy Anderson was destroyed by a seething Xander Haze, that's why he didn't show up for his match! Can't wait to see where this one goes from here, glad to see we got something going for them. Pirate Ship Plunder Match: Elisha vs. The Shadow Wow, first the Moon & Shadow Match and now this...we truly have the most brilliant minds in the game right here in CWF. This PPV has been chalked full of matches that I've never even dreamed about before better yet seen, and this one is again right on top of that list. Dorian Hawkhurst joining the Forsaken & aiding Shadow in this fight was a big surprise right out of the gate. This match though...just read like an absolute masterpiece. This is the kind of shit that is drawing people to Championship Wrestling Federation, you know it? If we can pull off matches this creative, this well, and have the amazing talent in the roleplaying department that we do AND have a great new site with poser graphics....the sky's pretty much the limit, right? Back to the match itself, I'm a pretty big pirates fan so every creative sentence I really held onto with much esteem in this one. The capture the flag aspect, the "knocking Druids/Chosen off the pirate ship eliminates them", the action itself...I could go on and on reviewing this one all day long. I'm so glad we got to see a full match done with the Shadow & the druids versus Elisha & the Chosen, and done in such spectacular fashion to boot. The ending where a lightning strike causes Shadow to get flung off the ship and allow Elisha to win was again a wow moment. Great job with this match. It's Time Champion and challenger just a few steps behind the curtain. The tension is clearly in the air, no matter how much the friends want to admit it. It's time. Yes it is. CWF World Heavyweight Title Match: MJ Flair © vs. Caledonia I wrote this match so I won't gloat too much about it. What I will say that it was a real honor for me to have Pete as our World champion for the time that he was. Through the Modern Warfare tournament and other things such as Golden Intentions, it is always great to meet new people and Pete and a number of the rest of you I've met throughout this last year has been really good to CWF and myself. Anyone that can come up with storylines, segments, ideas, and even help with the spare match- is a great help in my book. When someone can go beyond that and bring other people to the fed, such as someone who can create us a new website with Poser graphics that I have yearned to have for my fed for 18 years now...that's awesome. So that was my public suck up of our former World champion Pete, MJF. Thank you for all you've done for the fed, and thank you to everyone else who does anything and everything for this fed. As far as our new World champion goes, Dan/Caledonia, he is a well respected member of this fed who has been around it for ten years now and gets along with just about everyone who has ever stepped into CWF. He is also one of the most talented writers I've ever read. We are certainly in good hands here with these two, and after such a great "friendly" feud between the two of them, I truly hope that I did them proud with this match. It may not have been a 50 page novel, but I hope that it was a barnburner, I hope both felt like they got over- and in the end we are moving towards Golden Intentions with a brand new World champ. Congrats, Dan! Edited by J. Rish, May 23 2018, 11:02 AM.

Not that I really needed to do that, but it feels cool to have the official endorsement by them. Once the show is up, I will send them a link and hey, it would be awesome, if they'd share it.
