As I sit here in my hotel room still waiting on a couple of segments that should have been on this week's show, lol, I still have to say I'm pretty proud of the finished product of this show. I mean this is the THIRTIETH show of a federation that was only supposed to come back for one single comeback show. What we have rebuilt with CWF I always say and will always say is nothing less than amazing and it's all thanks to you guys. Let's make sure we get everything for Paradise in as early as possible please, and let's make this a great one!

Best Match: Duce vs Freddie

Best Commentary Line:

Mike Rolash: Man, this arena is calling for Silas’ head.

Jim Gunt: He’s abandoning his partner, can you blame them?

Mike Rolash: It’s all part of the plan!

Jim Gunt: …

Mike Rolash: ...I think?

Best Segment: Whose Federation is This?
Honorable Mention: Are You Not Entertained?

Best Surprise: Duce and Freddie going for the tag titles. Looking back, it’s been foreshadowed, but it’s very cool to see a bit more life in the tag team field.

Best Feud/Storyline: Shadow/Elisha

MVP of the Week: This felt like one of those weeks where everyone put in a pretty good effort across the board. So I’m going to default to my copout answer of Justin and Alex, for keeping this show on the road :P

Ending Thoughts/Predictions for the next show: We're going to the beach, bay bay!

Still Alive
-----------
I wrote, hope it was entertaining with the new fanclubs and all :)

Dean vs. Xander
---------------
Hard-fought match, I liked the immediate switch in Dean's behaviour as Elisha showed up, makes me wonder, if he's been conditioned/triggered to react like this? The level of brutality he suddenly shows is quite disturbing, but Sam managed to make him stop, which is interesting.

Statement of Purpose
--------------------
Uh oh, Elisha is mad at Oreoboros (love this one)! And she addresses all the potential issues of her match, with Amber, with Silas, this really makes me excited for the match now!

Those Who Wander Alone
----------------------
Very nice segment depicting the agony that Sam is going through right now, being caught between Ouroboros, Coalition and whatever we will call Cali and her group of resistance, I especially liked the finishing " I. Just. Want. My. Bloody. Mate. Back!" That one goes right into the feels.

Cassandra vs. Caledonia
-----------------------
Tight, hard fought match and I must say that I was truly surprised that there was no interference other than the steel chair, but this definitely was a great first match for Cassandra.

Whose Federation is This?
-------------------------
Love it. Ataxia's mission that CWF is his is still fully under way and he is making his own deals with the boss now. And yeah right, it's Rish's fed, pelease! It is surprising, btw, that people are still surprised about anything Ataxia-related. So now he will be announcing something big for his title? And three people??? TELL ME!

Chriszaelyne vs. The Forsaken
-----------------------------
I wrote, thanks for Starr writing the great sequence of him and Payne, I hope that the match is entertaining, I tried to go with a theme (that coming to think of it is not all that outlandish after all) and I had a little fun with Ataxia, which coming to think of it is outlandish, but I just had to, lol.

Are You Not Entertained?
------------------------
Now hey made Mia mad. And who's going to get it? Azrael! And not only that, she will have a stipulation! Now what could that be...? I also liked the touch of calling The Forsaken family :) Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy!

Gathering Intel
---------------
I wrote. Gotta figure out how to get to where we have to go and what better than to ask someone, who already went there? Yes, we are putting up the heat!

Making an Impact!
-----------------
Ooh, the cat is out of the bag, a Fatal Fourway! And he is just dishing it out, Jarvis, Starr, people have been complaining that I am at war with good parts of the roster, then what is Taxi doing? One-man Ataxiarmy!

Duce Jones vs. Freddie Styles
-----------------------------
A really refreshingly different match with very nice story telling, with them pretending to fight until Rish comes out and then it all turning into a real match, great developing of the story!

Taking Back What Belongs to Us
------------------------------
Great continuation of the match and the story and finally the big cat - Styles and Jones going for the titles against the Lost Boys! Everybody has been saying it for a long time, these two should be a tag team and now right away for the titles, right on!

Hush Little Baby
----------------
Obviously I wrote, it is a continuation of the segment last week, plus Silas' reaction to it in his rp, now let's see what he has to say now :D

Paradise is Coming
------------------
Gotta hype a little, no? And this is an ad I would really like to see in real life :D

MJ Flair/Amber vs. The Harbingers
---------------------------------
A bit of an oddball of a match with Silas' antics, but it worked overall to further storylines and the ending is borderline iconic with Amber denting the briefcase on Silas' face, lol. And Mr. Artoria is shaping himself into a psychotic heel that sees himself as the grand mastermind, but hey, keep your bubble intact, the pressure is building...

An Answer
---------
Whoa, what a swerve, Silas picks Amber over MJ!?!? Mind games are fully afoot!

Still Alive

Nice intro, always dig the signs. It was also a good choice to start off with a match featuring Dean Coulter, to tie it into the post-main of the prior show.

Dean Coulter vs Xander Haze

Not a huge fan of Rolash's line of "soft spot for the bad guys" - that seems a little too self aware. Even something like "soft spot for the bad boys" would be referencing behavior, not alignment. Tough break for the debut match, but going up against Coulter in this avenue was probably a losing proposition no matter what. The only real issue I had with this was that I feel like it's too soon for Dean to do the villainous breakdown like he did after the three count. Let him be an asshole for a few shows - maybe even godbook a title switch at the PPV due to Sam and Dean being unable to coexist, and that's the event horizon for him to yell at the fans. Not that it was badly handled, just that I feel like it could've been stretched a bit more.

Statement of Purpose

I wrote. Did we like my cheap plug for SLACK?

Those Who Wander Alone

Piggybacking on my prior statement I am not a fan of this segment. It was well written and interesting, but I feel like Sam's first move should be to try and speak to Dean alone. Dean should've been there, and Elisha and company block his attempt to speak to him - further complicated by the rest of the Coalition cockblocking. Maybe in concert with a later segment (or a PPV seg) of Sam finally getting Dean alone?

Caledonia vs Cassandra

The only finish that could be. Cali keeps her title shot while Cass is put over as a monster. And a seed is planted for the future.

Whose Federation Is This?

Interesting dynamic - and a setup for the Impact Title match at Paradise. I doubt the names were chosen at random, so I wonder what's his endgame.

Six Way Tag

This is the only way STARR should've played it - he's too good to lose a title and just show up in a three on three match the next week like nothing's happened. I think the finish was appropriate in this case - Starr's teammates are annoyed at his substitution and that throws them off, while the Forsaken are still a well oiled machine.

Are You Not Entertained?

Good setup for Mia vs Az at the PPV. I liked this - Mia is concise and transparent; we get a great sense of what her immediate goals are.

Gathering Intel

Storylines coalesce - Thibodaux and Caledonia come together for common purpose. Don't they know that if they just talked to Adrian Evans, they'd have found Dan Highlander already? :)

Making an Impact

Little repetitive. This as the reveal to who gets an Impact Title shot sort of makes "Who's fed is this" sort of redundant.

Duce vs Styles

My two favorite opponents to date take each other on. Nitpicks - if you're gonna put entrance music lyrics in the entrance, separate 'em somehow, like italics or whatnot. Not a fan of the pissing on the fourth wall, though. I'm cool with Duce and Styles wrestling and not taking the match seriously as they back and forth it, but Rish coming out to scold them is way too Russo-style attitude era bullshit. None of the extra stuff needed to happen during this match.

Taking Back what Belongs to us

This is where all of the extra stuff should've gone, and it's perfect.

Hush Little Baby

Effective accusatory promo towards Silas. The Shadow essentially accuses Silas of being Ulfric Stormcloak - he talks big but what he wants is personal glory. I feel like we're building towards like a four team WAR GAMES with four on each team.

Paradise is Coming

So is Winter.

TheLostBoys

The seg with Sam was slated to be straight after the Dean v Haze match, the idea being he's looking for Dean but runs into the others.

As for the villainous breakdown...I thought I did have more time, but lost track of the progression of shows so things had to be rushed.

Still Alive

Typical opener, although I liked the "Some of the travelling fan clubs have shown up in full force again" line. Signs are cool, intros are too. These kind of things while people may not actually think about them sometimes, make the shows so much more realistic when reading them.

Dean Coulter vs. Xander Haze

Hot opening match with Xander starting out with some heavy offense before Dean starts his comeback after the knees up destroyed Haze's attempt at a Frog Splash. Match read really well, I especially liked how when Dean saw Elisha up on the stage he seemed to have a very dark change to him, which ended up leading to his victory. Haze has come up short to start his career here, but keep working out it bro, some very close matches and I'm really interested in your character!

P.S: The aftermath with Dean & Sam was classic.

Statement of Purpose

Very interesting interview with the champ. She mentions her feelings on Caledonia and their friendship, the potential of Amber Ryan and the briefcase being cashed in, and the going ons with the Harbingers. Everything a wrestling interview should be.

Those Who Wander Alone

Poor Sam just wants his bloody mate back, and no one will let him the hell alone.

Caledonia vs. Cassandra w/ Cali's Paradise World Title shot on the line

I wrote it, hope ya'all enjoyed it. 'Nuff said.

Whose Federation Is This?

Great dialogue here with Rish & Ataxia, and for something that I didn't have a hand in writing (although I was going to do some edits if needed, which I didn't think they were) I thought the Rish character was portrayed nicely here. Of course we get the crazy Ataxia with a note saying who he wants to defend the Impact Title versus at Paradise, and of course it is not just one person, it's three. Good old crazy Ataxia.

The Forsaken vs. Christian Starr Payne, Azrael & Crazy Chris

Wow, scathing promo from Christian Starr to start off this match, really liked that one. The raven's entrance for Ataxia was simply freaking awesome. The feud with Azrael & Mia is heating up and definitely getting interesting. The Fallaway Slam across the ring from Payne was a powerful read. And in the end if may have taken all of the Forsaken to get Payne down, but they were able to do it showing just how dominant of a faction they are now!

Are You Not Entertained?

Fucking right I am. Another scathing promo. Jesus christ are we setting up for Paradise fast and furious with this one. Mia vs. Azrael to be completely honest with you, in my opinion, has every right to steal the show at Paradise at this point. Great work from both of you going into the PPV.

Gathering Intel

Candid conversation with Caledonia and Thibodaux, although it seems that she cannot help him much other than to possibly lead him to that "field that the Institute cannot access." If the druids are as crafty as they usually are, they'll find a way.

Making an Impact!

Ataxia has a hard on for proving that the Impact Title is more important than the Paramount Title. Starr (and now Jarvis) felt the same for the Paramount. Why do I feel like this war is never going to end and one day we're going to see a champion vs. champion match on a big stage? Hmmm.

Duce Jones vs. Freddie Styles

The fans are chanting before the match even begins- I love it, gives this one a big time feel right off the bat. This one starts off very traditionally with the collar and elbow tie-up, and throughout most of the match feels very classic/traditionalist. Until Rish comes out with his little spiel and fucks it all up, that is. From then on we get a much more brutal, fast paced match with Freddie coming out on top. Probably the match I enjoyed the most this week, with these two men being as familiar as they are with each other this one just felt like one final piece to the puzzle.

Taking Back What Belongs To Us

So Duce can barely move but is more than happy to congratulate Freddie on his victory and let Rish know that that singles match isn't really what they had in mind when they wanted competition. They want the tag team freaking titles. The only thing I was a bit iffy on was Rish saying they have to "ask the tag champs for a shot", while I can understand that, at the same time he is the match-booker so we have to keep in mind that if he really wanted to book the match, they wouldn't have to ask the champs, Rish could book it.

Hush Little Baby

The Shadow is calling out Silas. I can see a hell of a feud forming here eventually. Great, mysterious promo here.

Paradise is Coming

I popped for this advertisement. Hard. :)

MJF & Amber Ryan vs. Silas & Autumn

Rolash is ready for the three B's with Paradise. Silas refusing to tag into the match goes along with everything he's said in his promos, which is always a good thing. When he finally does get into the ring things really start to get hot, until MJF tags back into the match and Silas doesn't want any part of it! In the end we get a DQ ending with Amber Ryan using the briefcase, a confused MJF and a presumably angered Harbingers.

An Answer

So Silas is going to give MJF an answer. He wants a match with...Amber Ryan at Paradise!? Woah, that's a surprising one! Awesome way to end the show here, definitely a nice post-match.

Great show guys, great build to Paradise. Can't wait!

Issues with segs kinda bummed me out with this show and for me the show felt like it needed more, or could have done/had more. It sort of just ends and I'm here going...Oh, is that it? But on the other hand what is there is good, interesting and builds up for Paradise nicely.

Best Match: Duce vs Styles or Forsaken v The Crazy Azrael Starr

Best Commentary Line: Mike Rolash: Man, this arena is calling for Silas’ head.

Honorable Mention: Taking Back

Best Surprise: Tax or Silas

Best Feud/Storyline: Ouroboros v Cali's Collective, Shadow v Elisha seems to bring out the best in the writers

MVP of the Week: Tax

Best Match: Duce vs Styles. Styles is becoming my favourite regular fixture, and with Wrestlefest soon, I exprect some great things to come from him. Duce gotta Duce too!

Best Commentary Line: Nothing stood out to me. Could've gone with the main event favourite but it's not fair since I co-wrote the match ;)

Best Segment: Whose Federation is This?

Best Surprise: Nothing stood out.

Best Feud/Storyline: Ryan's case. It's building up, and it's got me hooked :D

MVP of the Week: Flair, Shadow, and Rish, just for putting up with my writing.
