Blake Church: Good evening CWF Universe, welcome to Norfolk, Virginia!

Charles State: The last Evolution before we are going to the beach, since Paradise is just around the corner! That sounds so much like a vacation...

Blake Church: Haha, yes it does, but I can’t shake the feeling that it will not be as peaceful as people might thing.

Charles State: This is “Church vs. State”!

Blake Church: While the show seems fairly light in matches, there is no lack in punch for sure!

Charles State: Not sure, if people wanted to get to the beach early or check out some of the casinos of Atlantic City, but if any of them are nursing any injuries, it makes sense to make sure to be in tip top shape two weeks from now.

Blake Church: But let’s have a look at who we have on the menu this week and we are staring out with two people that have been in the news quite a bit since our Greenville show, even though for very different reasons.

Charles State: First up Dean Coulter, one half of the Lost Boys and boy, literally nobody saw this coming...

Blake Church: Yes, Ouroboros did not seem like the next logical destination for him in his career, but hey, sometimes there can be an offer you just can’t refuse.

Charles State: Well, I am not sure, if you mean this metaphorically or literally, but it is what it is and I have a feeling that his opponent might feel the repercussions of this sudden switch in only his second match in CWF.

Blake Church: His debut this week against Duce Jones was pretty impressive actually, having had the former champion teeter on the brink of an upset loss and that definitely got people talking about him this week, also for more reasons than one.

Charles State: For one he is the first wrestler with a disability in the federation, with his cerebral palsy having had some definite effect on his arm, and for the other the sheer viciousness that he brought to the match was quite head-turning.

Blake Church: So this could be a very interesting match given the circumstances, but I think that it will have nothing on what is to follow right after...

Charles State: The Clash of the Companion and the Clairvoyant, Caledonia versus Cassandra!

Blake Church: How long did it take you to come up with this one?

Charles State: Ever since they announced their match...

Blake Church: Caledonia has been on an absolute tear through CWF, both on and off the screen, while Cassandra is the latest addition to the seemingly ever-growing Ouroboros cult and she definitely aimed high for her first match in CWF.

Charles State: And the self-proclaimed Prophetess must have seen something going into this match-

Blake Church: Another clever one, you are on fire tonight!

Charles State (laughs): Thank you, I guess wearing hot sauce as antiperspirant is finally paying off. Anyways, she must have seen a chance to leave a mark on CWF right from the get go.

Blake Church: Especially since Caledonia’s number one contender spot for the world title at Paradise is on the line, so talk about high stakes!

Charles State: Given the history between Caledonia and the Institute - this one could be really hot, especially if anybody else from the SSRI might show up ringside.

Blake Church: Speaking of history with the Institute, The Forsaken are out in full strength for the first time with The Shadow, Ataxia and Mia Rayne taking on the unlikely union of Christian Starr, Azrael and Crazy Chris.

Charles State: As much as people are trying to deny it, The Forsaken are more than just a hodge podge of misfits, but they have been showing more cohesion than many stables we have seen come and go in CWF.

Blake Church: Something that definitely can and most likely will be an issue for their opponents, with the newly dethroned king of the Paramount realm, Christian Starr, teaming up with Azrael, who has faced several times, and Crazy Chris, a long-standing CWF veteran that still never really managed to get very far beyond some brief moments in the limelight.

Charles State: Add to that that Azrael seems to be on the warpath with Mia for some reason and the fact that Ataxia is going to try to protect her as much as he can and we might have a completely different dynamic going than everybody expects.

Blake Church: Next up two former (?) allies that tried to appeal to CEO J. Rish for more competition and promptly were pitted against each other, Freddie Styles and Duce Jones.

Charles State: Duce has held the big belt once, Freddie was close to it more than once, yet they both seem to have fallen from grace somewhat, but are looking for a rebound. Freddie even had to take some time off to nurse his wounds and returned with a decisive victory over Billy Anderson and he looks better than ever!

Blake Church: We did reach out to both competitors, here is what they had to say:

Charles State: Freddie, Duce, you both had been within an arm's length to hold the CWF Heavyweight titles more than once, and you Duce held it once, but it has gotten somewhat quiet around the two of you, what happened?

Freddie Styles: Well, I had some nagging things I needed to take care of, so this was a good moment to go get healthy and recharge, and also take stock of the CWF landscape after Unhinged.

Duce Jones: I'm all for the greater good of helping a company build. In order for that to happen, other folks, need to get their due. I'm enjoying the revolution with the women in CWF. It's incredible to see, but at the moment my focus is on different matters.

Charles State: In your quest for bigger competition it looks like CEO J. Rish somewhat misunderstood your intentions and pitted you against each other. Are you afraid that a loss could hurt your ascent back to the top of the mountain?

Freddie Styles: Any loss hurts, but in this stage of the game, where we’re both looking for a path to take going forward is doubly painful. I’m facing a former world champion in Duce, who’s had my number. We may both need a win here, but he’s got accolades that will help him...I’ve got nothing...this means more to me, because I don’t have a way back to the top line, if I lose here.

Duce Jones: A lost is a lost in my eyes, it doesn't define who Duce Jones is. I lace my boots like every man in that locker room, and eventually I will get back to the top. But like I stated earlier, my focus is on different matters.

Charles State: Many people once touted you as a great potential future tag team. Has this chance come and gone or is there still a possibility that we will be able to see you together in a ring, but on the same side?

Freddie Styles: Well C & S, you can never say never in this business, especially around here. Maybe there’s a path where we’re the tag team that all others are shooting for. Right now, we both are men in need of a win...after that, who knows?

Duce Jones: There are many unknown possibilities, when it comes to life. You just gotta let everything flow the way it's gonna happen.

Blake Church: And for a change MJ Flair is not defending her title, yet she is still in the main event and it is a tag team match with quite some potential implications, since she is teaming up with none other than Amber Ryan, the winner of the Unhinged Briefcase, who can cash in on MJ at any time, any place.

Charles State: Could she cash it in at the end of this match, even though it is not sanctioned as a title match?

Blake Church: That actually is a very good question, we might have to defer this one to the legal department to make sure. But either way, they are facing the Harbingers, so after defeating Autumn Raven and teasing Silas Artoria, MJ seems to have put a bit of a target on these two folks, but again the potential tension between MJ and Amber could be a definitive factor in this one.

Charles State: To stay in the know, tune in at the new time of Tuesday evening for Evolution, available for streaming on all devices with your membership of the CWF Network, subscribe today and get your first month free, including Paradise, this is an offer you can’t really refuse! We hope to see you in Norfolk and I’m sure that you will get a whole lot of action, even with only 5 matches.

Blake Church: We hope to be able to welcome you again next week, I am Blake Church and this was CWF’s Church vs. State. Good evening.
