Well through hell and high water, the 29th show since CWF's glorious return is on the air STILL not late! I hope you enjoy and leave your thoughts, thank you to all the writers and especially Alex for putting the show together for me while I drove to Boston all day today. https://cwflives.wixsite.com/cwfwrestling/ep-29-evolution-19 Overall Rating (1-10, 10=best, 1=Worst): Best Match: Best Commentary Line: Best Segment: Honorable Mention: Best Surprise: Best Feud/Storyline: MVP of the Week: Ending Thoughts/Predictions for the next show: |

Overall Rating (1-10, 10=best, 1=Worst): 8 (If we didn't have that many no-shows and subsequently short matches, would have been higher) Best Match: As much as I liked the tag team match, there is absolutely NO WAY that Starr vs. King does not take the honours here! Best Commentary Line: For a change I have one that made me chuckle immediately when I proofed: Jim Gunt: The Unbreakable One proving that he is unbreakable! Mike Rolash: We really have to get this guy a new moniker to go by, I mean him and Tyler went by the Unstoppable Force! Seriously, we saw how that went. Best Segment: Battle Lines/Liberation Honorable Mention: And while frowned upon, Gauntlet. That segment was written in less than ten minutes and it turned out to be as scathing as I've seen so far from myself... Best Surprise: Most very definitely Dean Coulter siding with Ouroboros! Best Feud/Storyline: Starr vs. King, the two roleplays were among the best I have read in 6 months in CWF! MVP of the Week: Jarfish! Ending Thoughts/Predictions for the next show: A little surprised to only have 5 matches for such a big show, but I expect a lot of segments and story building for Paradise! Home Sweet Home --------------- I wrote, usual intro, a bit shorter than in Asia, but oh well. Face to Face ------------ Nice to see both MJ and Amber in the ring and it's clear that while they respect each other, there is no love lost between them so far. I really liked a) MJ hinting at who will be the number one contender and b) Amber's beautifully ambiguous answer. Nice start to the show. Billy Anderson vs. Freddie Styles --------------------------------- Predictable run of the match, Freddie obviously dominant, but a good step back into CWF and he can only go up from here. Time For a Change ----------------- Huh, Duce is looking out for Freddie and his career? Interesting! Where's that destination at? Tell us! Fatal Fourway Match ------------------- I wrote, had to reduce it to a Fatal Twoway. I haven't used any injury-related stuff so far, so this was a bit of a test balloon and I hope that it worked out. At the end - Silas on the ground and a black rose? Hm... Ouroboros Rising ---------------- Give Elisha an Institute and he wants the world on top of it. At least he'll leave CWF alone. Or will he? This thinly veiled threat is very ominous. Azrael vs. Kaden Vossk ---------------------- Fast and furious, classic squash match and this casts some big doubts over Kaden's CWF career. Worn-out Soul ------------- Wait, doubts dispersed. SSES at your service (for the uninitiated, SSES is the Shadow Soul Extraction Services). He's done. Xander Haze vs. Duce Jones -------------------------- I loved this match, extremely back and forth, some great spots for both sides, also great portrayal of Xander's disability, several times either side could have taken it and it also is a great introduction for Xander's character and positions him as total heel right away. Great read! Challenge Extended ------------------ There we have it, the cat is out of the bag, Cali against MJ is an awesome main event for Paradise, two of our strongest roleplayers, should be an awesome contest! Lost Boys vs. The Forsaken -------------------------- I wrote, hope it was entertaining Only when proofing it, I realized how long the match really was...Gauntlet -------- Obviously I wrote, I think together with Elisha's segments here, we have fully kickstarted our feud, hope you folks like it And for good measure some extra for Silas, little did I know that in the end events would even reinforce it.There's Always a Plan B ----------------------- Plan A obviously did not work out with Rish putting Duce and Freddie against each other, but looks like they DO have a plan B, will be interesting to see! Caledonia vs. D.C. ------------------ Also went pretty predictable due to a no-show, the interference by Cali against Caledonia was really well done, entertaining for sure! Cassedonia ---------- Very hitting segment, Cassandra is not just some prophetic decoration, but will wrestler and what a debut to go against Caledonia AND for her number one title shot! Very nice development! Elisha vs. Nerezza ------------------ Well, with Nerezza stepping away, the outcome was pretty clear here, but interesting read seeing these two monsters together. Liberation ---------- Now things are moving. The Shadow gets called out, is made responsible for Nerezza, then he comes to help Nerezza and gets beaten down? Nice going, Elisha. We...are...ON! Dealing With It --------------- Lost Boys are going literal now? We lost Dean... And there is Elisha. Again! What did he do to him??? Christian Starr vs. Jarvis King ------------------------------- Two awesome roleplays result in an absolutely 5-star match that definitely stole the show here! This could have headlined a PPV! Hope we can see a re-match! MJ Flair vs. Autumn Raven ------------------------- Surprisingly attack-heavy for Autumn, in the end MJ comes out victorious, but she reacts more to being provoked, which is an interesting development. And of course Silas has to show up. A Message --------- MJ offers a shot to Silas? And he refuses? Now that's something surprising! Battle Lines ------------ All hell breaks loose now, kidnapping one of my druids, torturing him, but then come in Amber, The Shadow, Mia, the druids, Caledonia, Sam and then - Dean Coulter is the masked man with Ouroboros? THE swerve of the show, hands down! |

Overall Rating (1-10, 10=best, 1=Worst): 7 Best Match: Duce vs Xander Best Commentary Line: Mike Rolash: This looks more like an infirmary now than a CWF ring… Best Segment: Plan B Honorable Mention: Best Surprise: Caledonia's title opportunity Best Feud/Storyline: Forsaken vs SSRI MVP of the Week: Jarvis King Ending Thoughts/Predictions for the next show: "We're fucked" |

Home Sweet Home The usual opener, and as usual entertaining. Face to Face Mike Rolash is a pervert. MJF wants to know when Amber Ryan is cashing in that briefcase, and did we ever really find out who the "one worthy contender" is that she'd like to face at Paradise? A lot to ponder with this one. Freddie Styles vs. Billy Anderson Not sure where Anderson went, but regardless a nicely written match and a good win for the still hot off his return Freddie Styles. Time For A Change Definitely an interesting segment here. Duce has an idea how to get himself and especially Freddie out of the "position" they've found themselves in lately. I like it, and cliffhanger ending makes it even greater. Fatal Fourway Match This one turned into a fatal twoway fast! Very much enjoyed Shadow picking on Silas, I can definitely see those two having a good feud!Ouroboros Rising Very powerful start here with Ouroboros ripping signs out of the fans hands and handing back out all kinds of crazy shit to them. And then furthered by the upfront and brutal showing of what will be by Elisha, finalized by Rish coming out. A lot of storyline getting pushed forward here, great! Azrael vs. Kaden Vossk Well, short match...but Azrael at least got over. ![]() Worn-Out Soul And Kaden Vossk just went over himself...to the dark side! Duce Jones vs. Xander Haze My favorite match of the night so far. Had some back and forth, close calls, read very interesting. Challenge Extended ....And it's Caledonia! MJF (maybe?) vs. Caledonia at Paradise, sweet! The Lost Boys vs. The Forsaken Shoulder tackle that is as forgiving as a granite block- love that line. Love that we have both Ataxia and even surprisingly Azrael down at ringside for this match, definitely has a big match feel although it's a non title match. Luckily for the Lost Boys, as they suffered another unfortunate loss. You have to wonder if their next tag match will be for the titles, and if they'll be able to hold onto them after dominating the tag division in the early going parts of their careers? Gauntlet A cold, harsh Shadow just destroying everyone on the mic. This is what we call a mic drop. ...Poor Silas ![]() There's Always A Plan B Well that didn't work out the way Duce and Freddie wanted it to, now did it? I guess they're lucky there's always a plan b... D.C. vs. Caledonia Another match that unfortunately was somewhat ruined by no showing, regardless it read pretty well for a fairly short match. Nice submission/knockout victory for Cali, making her look really strong going into the PPV. Cassedonia Ohhh things just got a little more interesting. Caledonia must not have known MJF was already planning on having her be the challenger anyway, but it looks like all it's going to go as planned anyway as Cassandra is after her! Elisha vs. Nerezza Battle of the monsters! Unfortunately Joe no showed (and he to take a leave sadly) so this was another one ruined RP wise, but Elisha came out looking great anyway with the Ganso Bomb. It is what it is, but these no shows gotta stop. Liberation Cassandra and Choronzon have bundles of wood, wtf? This can't be good lol. And of course it wasn't as the Ouroboros have Nerezza captive, Shadow saves him...just to be turned on? A wild one here for sure. Dealing With It And now Elisha is messing with the Lost Boys? Boy these guys are everywhere and messing around with everyone tonight! No one is safe! Paramount Title Match I wrote it, thought it was a pretty good one lol. Congrats Christian Starr on one hell of a Paramount Title reign, you really took that title to new heights that it may never reach again. And congrats Jarvis King for becoming the new champ! World Title Match A little short for a World Title Match and/or main event but Pete was going through some issues so that's understandable. I was just happy to get the show up on time. Despite being a little short this one had back and forth, emotion, and put over both competitors. MJF is looking like a pretty impossible person to beat right about now. A Message Ohhh MJF & Silas now...quite interesting. Battle Lines First Nerezza joins Ouroboros and now Dean Coulter? As Azrael said as well as Jim Gunt at the end of EVO...we're fucked.

Overall Rating (1-10, 10=best, 1=Worst): 8 - With this show, there may have been a lot of one sided match. The segments helped pushed this show along. I do feel that the Cassadonia segment should have been before her match, but that's just my own personal gripe, oh and besides the fact that Sam Braxton showed up to battle Ouroborus beside Caledonia and not his stablemates Best Match: Starr vs King - Tight back and forth match, in the end, the Internet Icon won the title, but Starr kept the title. It's a hell of a twist, especially with King's situation with Donovan. Best Commentary Line: I had one that I liked, but I as I try to go back over it, but I can't find it... Best Segment: Cassadonia - I'm still interested in what happened to Dan. But if he doesn't want to be found that's a twist that needs to be unraveled.. Honorable Mention: Battle Lines - I might've had gripes with both segments, doesn't mean that these pieces didn't get their point across. Best Surprise: Coulter with the deception.. Best Feud/Storyline: I'm liking the intertwining of Starr in the King/Donovan feud if that's a thing MVP of the Week: Elisha is a very relevant guy these days.. Ending Thoughts/Predictions for the next show: Where there a will, there a way.. |

Braxton's appearance could be explained/justified in that he had personal stakes in and business with Elisha cause of the allusion they had done something to Dean

Overall Rating (1-10, 10=best, 1=Worst): 7 - 8. Bogged down by the no-shows that contributed to lesser matches which in turn contributed to an overall sense of lacking throughout the show. The usual post ppv melancholy as it were. Best Match: Starr v King Best Commentary Line: Several worth a chuckle but none really jumped out at me. Best Segment: All the wonderful Ouroboros related segs, building up nicely. Honorable Mention: Best Surprise: Aside from the obvious one I had a hand in there wasn't much else that was 'surprising'. Best Feud/Storyline: Starr v King. The angle we deserve and needed ![]() MVP of the Week: Jarvis Ending Thoughts/Predictions for the next show: With strong angles building the next few shows and ppv have the potential to be great |

Overall Rating (1-10, 10=best, 1=Worst): 7. Some great stuff but I felt there was a bit of meandering, partially thanks to the sad number of no-shows :/ Best Match: The King vs the Starr Attraction (damn right I'm calling them that :D) Best Segment: Battle Lines - Deano....we need to talk. Good drama, feels like something is going to climax come Wrestlefest. Best Surprise: Dean's betrayal. Best Feud/Storyline: Personally, a tie between the King/Starr feud and the Ouroboros' rise. MVP of the Week: Starr, his stuff is what let's me sleep happy. Ending Thoughts/Predictions for the next show: Can't wait to see where the Paramount title will go. It's prestige is being elevated thanks to Starr and his ego :3 |

Only when proofing it, I realized how long the match really was...

Very much enjoyed Shadow picking on Silas, I can definitely see those two having a good feud!
