The 22nd consecutive show with NO LATE EVENTS from Championship Wrestling Federation is now on the air. I hope you all enjoy the 14th episode of Evolution, a lot of work went into this one and A LOT of thing happened in the segments this week. Thank you to everyone who wrote a match or a segment, especially to Alex who wrote the main event at short notice. Enjoy and please review!

Overall Rating (1-10, 10=best, 1=Worst): 9, despite being light on matches and plagued by no-shows, it really worked out well with all the different segments and even some awesome comic relief and a barnburner at the end!

Best Match: I know that one shouldn't vote for matches one wrote, but I'd go with the main event.

Best Commentary Line:Mike Rolash: He played dead! He just played dead!
Jim Gunt: You should try that, too, some day.

Best Segment: Almost all of them were great, the Dongcopters, Jace Doing Vegas, my thing with Elisha, the escalating conflict within the Eternals
Honorable Mention:

Best Surprise: Can't say it out loud, but when you get to it in the show, you'll know!

Best Feud/Storyline: Elisha vs. Shadow

MVP of the Week: Christian Starr. Really leaving an early impression on this fed!

Ending Thoughts/Predictions for the next show: Confliction will be EPIC!

Blackness Has Claimed Its Rightful Place: Great, at first I had him laying around in my basement for nothing and now I lost him on top of that? Beautiful. Who's going to trust me with their unclaimed souls now?

Start of the Plan: I can't help myself, but the last roleplay and this segment read like a slightly countrified version of the Moxleys, with the lunatic side coming out again and instead of the father egging him on it's the brother in law now... :(

Ordo Ab Chao: Ooh, Amber in action again? But what's that about Cain and being reminded of his place in the pecking order? At first Styles, now Cain? What's happening to the Eternals?

Anderson vs. Mathis: Not much to say really, it is sad that we're being plagued with such swathes of no shows right now...

Be Careful What You Wish For: Great continuation of the King vs. Solstice saga, it was a really nice touch to get the phone link first and then the surprise that he is actually on his way to the arena right now. It builds the feud as well as immediate anticipation, very nicely done!

Dongcopters Pt. I: Short, but sweet, I laughed out loud when I first read it and the fact that there's at least one other part definitely makes me want to read the next one!

Paramount Contender Match: Nice to have an actual match, good fast action and a worthy winner in Starr, who's really been on fire since he came in with good character development and all.

Dongcopters Pt. II: Had to be Eris!

A Message: Ooh, cryptic, reads like something I'd write. But wasn't me, so gotta be Jonty. Ooh, did not see this one coming!!

Mutiny: It's official, Styles is going freestyle! Was long in the making and now he is freeee! Good story progression, but there is more! The Chosen do not obey Sunset? So we have Styles, we have Cain, we have the Chosen, is the empire crumbling?

Coalition vs. Danger Boiz: The Coalition definitely is gaining momentum, a clear, decisive victory that underlines that they are a real force to be reckoned with by now.

Reconciling and a White Envelope: As much commotion as the Coalition is creating right now, as awkward this segment read. Not so much the demonstration of power against the Danger Boiz, but more what followed. Obviously it's hard to predict how matches will go, but this felt like it was too much dictating of things by Silas. Granted, doing a proper match against Stranger Danger is valid, also giving the Lost Boys the title shot, but it felt a little too dictatorial. Probably just me.

Shhh My Darling...It's Almost Over: It's weird, it's odd, it's Ataxia. Not much I could add here...

The Moonchild and the Prince: Ooh, Sunset against Elisha? Ever more intriguing today, this is not just a crack anymore, but quickly turning into an all-out rift within the Eternals!

The Party Begins: A party worthy of a Jace, just can't help but wonder what those people really came there for.

Paramount Title Match: Another match plagued by attendance issues, either way, Mora really has made the Paramount title his own and this is a really nice outlook on what to expect from a match Mora vs. Starr at the PPV!

Titty City: Jace is going down, clearly having fun, but don't think unleashing his inner LaRusso is a good idea for him...

Fighting Fire With Fire: Co-production with Jonty I blame him for starting this last week with his outstanding segment, I think this one really helps pushing the Elisha vs. The Shadow feud to the next level and the PPV between the two of them should be epic!

Eye of the Tiger: Hilarious! Jace vs. Vegas wildlife!

Dongcopters Pt. III: Hilarious conclusion to the trilogy, we take ourselves too serious sometimes, so together with Jace's Vegas Escapades, it shows a great different side of things. And just the simple "Toodles" had me laughing hard.

Elisha vs. TLS: Elisha is definitely showing cracks now, a very good match that had the intensity any Elisha encounter usually has and it segues nicely into...

Better Off Dead: It's the continuation of TLS' roleplay and it heightens the suspense as to who or what these guys actually are, since we have not received any details yet, hope this continues to evolve.

Underneath: Jace is losing it, and his downward spiral now even is going to lead him underground. Makes you wonder where he's going to end up in the end, because there's not much left of the luster of his initial segment...

Ask And You Shall Receive: Ian is here and Solistce as well, great buildup and the match at Confliction has all the right ingredients to be an epic, also I want to know who is under that mask!

Main event: Can't say much other than that I hope that I was able to channel my inner Ataxia well and make it an entertaining read :)

Loose Ends: Now we know, where Jace ends up at and definitely did NOT see this coming! I will not spoil this one, you've got to read it, lol.

Blackness Has Claimed Its Rightful Place: Very intriguing segment here, with Harley Hodge having been under Shadow’s control now for weeks, but now he’s gone!? The note in blood at the end was also a nice touch. What does Nerezza mean? According to the Shadow something not good

Start of the Plan: Not too bad I suppose, but like Alex said this does seem a bit of a rehash of the Moxleys and really didn’t push any particular storyline or feud.

Ordo Ab Chao: Right away we are getting a very serious Ryan Sunset, one who is no longer saying buddy all the time, buddy. Sunset is laying down the law here, the Eternals better fall in line.

Billy Anderson vs. Jedidiah Mathis: Wasn’t really a big fan of having this match written this way if I’m being 100% honest. I know it’s easy to do a match like this with no shows, but it doesn’t really make the show and/or the people who did RP look that great. Let’s try to keep that in mind, especially going into the PPV guys.

Be Careful What You Wish For: The descriptions here were great, I could really see myself illuminated by that candle. But it was not me of course- it was the masked man himself, Solstice! And then we get Ian on the phone talking about how he is going to get revenge for his family and find out the identity of Solstice himself, but wait... Ian is on his way to the arena!?

Dongcopters Part One: The Donging Begins: Jesus. Flying dildo helicopters? Oh boy...:D

Fatal Fourway for Paramount Title Shot at Confliction: I wrote this one so can't say much, hope you all enjoyed it. Was a really close call in judging for the three that RPed, so I tried to give everyone a little spotlight.

Dongcopters Two: Electric Dongaloo: So now Sam is sure that Eris is being the dongcopters, and Dean wouldn't blame them for Sam's stealing of the Tag Team champs titles last week. Look out, another flying penis!

A Message: Uh oh, is the Academy being invaded? Or is Amber Ryan just being gracefully dropped back off...unconsciously?

Mutiny: Freddie, Freddie, you're in trouble boooy. What an incredible segment here, Sunset once again trying to show that he is in control, but then Elisha and Freddie Styles both showing him that he really isn't at all. Where do the Eternals go from here?

Coalition vs. Danger Boiz: This match's outcome was already known because of another unfortunate no-show, but it was a quick and decent match regardless. The Claw of the Night/Knockout combo was sweet.

Reconciling and a White Envelope: Great segment showing the unity of the Coalition with the Lost Boys, Autumn and Silas, but I do have to say that I had to edit the Tag Team champs out of this one because I didn't feel it made sense with the way the segment a little bit down with the same teams went. Other than that, this was a good read and we see Silas being crazy Silas :P

Shhh My Darling...It's Almost Over: Ominous, that's for sure. Ataxia kissing the coffin and talking to someone, about a secret. That will drive us all mad!? AHAHAHA. Scary stuff.

The Moonchild and the Prince: Oh no, Elisha and Ryan Sunset are about to fucking kill each other, this is NOT good. And now they ARE tearing each other to pieces...thank god for security!

The Party Begins: And here we go, halfway into the show and we're getting to the start of what will sure be many fun Jace Valentine in Vegas segments. He is ready for his vacation, his victory parade, he's ready to enjoy himself bay-bay!

Paramount Title Match: Marksman (c) vs. Stalker Knight: Another fairly short match, and definitely a dominating performance from a very impressive Paramount champion at this point in Jay Mora. Sad to see Thomas once again flake but it does teach me a lesson that I have to quit being so forgiving and giving so many second chances, because no shows definitely hurt the shows and this would have been a much better match with a better opponent.

Titty City: We start off with an absolutely intoxicated Jace Valentine, this cannot go well. This segment was written really well though, I could see a drunk/high Jace walking into a convenience store shouting for titties, somehow lol. Seems old perverted cashier is going to help Jace see some titties after all though.

Fighting Fire With Fire: The response. We start out with Shadow responding to Elisha's in ring segment last week, but we do not end there. With a single trumpet's sound Elisha is on the stage. The two dark, mysterious figures once again have a war of words, but soon the words will be over and the end will be nigh. Who will survive at Confliction?

Eye of the Tiger: Shit, looks like the old man's directions may have gotten our "lovable" World Heavyweight champion lost. Watch out for the bears and tigers, Jace!

Doncopters Three: Dong Harder: The finale of the dong series (that just feels wrong writing). This one was so bad that it was good. Or so good that it was bad. LOL. Definitely nuts...oh jesus...

Elisha vs. The Lost Soul: Pretty good match with nice action for both competitors, and once again another big "upset" victory for TLS. First Jace Valentine, now Elisha? I would say TLS is quickly finding himself in contention for a World Title shot at this point.

Better Off Dead: Speaking of TLS, we get a small after-match segment but once again very ominous as we see TLS running away from the two men in suits.

Underneath: The interactions with Red and Jace were pretty hilarious at the beginning of this segment, we get the truly douche-y Jace that we're all used to at this point. Once Jace Valentine gets to the bar, it all begins to unravel for him. Once Jace finds John Mapother and they start talking about how the greatest fun in Vegas in "underneath" in underground tunnels, we just know that Jace is about to have himself the absolute time of his life (haha yeah right!). Very interesting segment and tells us that we are not yet done here.

Ask And You Shall Receive: Mike Rolash is crying as Ian King is coming out, lol. "Allergic to jerks"- good line. A great battle with Ian King and Solstice, and at the end we hear that Confliction will see the two of them go one on one in an unsanctioned fight! Awesome!

Ataxia/Shadow/Dorian Hawkhurst vs. Duce Jones/Freddie Styles/MJ Flair: Definitely the match of the night, not just because the length was longer than the rest of the matches on the show, but because the writing was truly quality. Alex was asked to do this match this morning on very short notice because of bad circumstances that came up for one of our writers, and he did not disappoint. I thought for a match that was probably rushed a bit that everyone got their spots in, and in the end the person with the best overall RP got the pinfall. Good action, good match.

Loose Ends: We're ending the show on a segment this week, that only happens what something big is about to happen! And we're getting the finale of the Jace in Vegas story! Jace Valentine and John Mapother are still together, and Jace is nearly unconsciously drunk at this point. There is Jace's sister and mother. There is Vegas Phillips. There is....him?! OMG, what a fucking way to close the show!!

Confliction here we come, it's going to be one helluva fire storm!

My suggestion would be to make sure there is a profile, or something to use for match-writers before booking people. That way if there is a no-show something can still be written.

Some of the matches were rather uninteresting (if I am being honest) and I tire of people getting "last chances" over and over again that don't show up and roleplay. I understand the desire to be lenient, but sometimes enough is enough and we have to be smarter about booking characters who we can reasonably expect not to show up. Jedidah couldn't even be bothered to post an app, but yet he gets booked in two matches leading to not one, but two mediocre matches on our shows. We don't need flakes to fluff our card up, let's put an end to that. I've said it before, it should be one no-show and if the handler doesn't show a desire to be booked again, then we don't book them again. A second no-show, explained or not, within the same ppv cycle should result in a boot. If everyone was active and involved, our shows would be that much better. I know there's not much we can do about no-showing, but we could do a better job at not booking character's that are not going to show.

Best Match: Main Event

Best Commentary Line: None come to mind, but there were a few good ones.

Best Segment: The Dongcopter Stuff
Honorable Mention: King's segment and the Sunset stuff

Best Surprise: The King/Solstice match. Is this another instance of a handler facing himself, or what's going on here?

Best Feud/Storyline: Elisha vs Shadow, and all the moving parts involved there.

MVP of the Week: Eris

Ending Thoughts/Predictions for the next show: There's some loose ends. Now, I gotta tie 'em. LOL good luck to Duce, Freddie and MJ in what's going to be one hell of a main event!
