Overall Rating: 9 Best Match: For obvious reasons, I have to go with Shadow vs. Dorian Best Commentary Line: Mike Rolash: "What did they expect? Fairness from a guy who wears a sack on his head?! Duhhhh!!" Best Segment: Can A Starr Outshine The Sunset? Honorable Mention: AdMia Me! I thought that both segments did well to showcase the talents that were in them. Best Surprise: I WON!!! LOL. I thought that even if I won the match, it wouldn't be for the belt, although with Ataxia involved. You never know where things will end up. Best Feud/Storyline: Jace vs. everyone. This week's main event is going to be interesting. MVP of the Week: I am going to go with Marksman Mora. Great job this week holding onto his gold. Ending Thoughts/Predictions for the next show: Choas, chaos, everywhere. |

Overall Rating (1-10, 10=best, 1=Worst): 8 Best Match: Ataxia vs. Dorian Best Commentary Line: Once more STARR drags Billy to his feet and whips him hard into the corner, but as he comes flying with his double foot stomp, Anderson had fallen face first onto the mat, having Christian fly right through the ropes into the ring post! Mike Rolash: Yikes, anybody got a Sundae? I think we got some crushed nuts here… Jim Gunt: What the… Best Segment: The Lost Boys series Honorable Mention: Starr/Sunset Best Surprise: Ataxia's shenanigans Best Feud/Storyline: Dorian vs. Ataxia MVP of the Week: Marksman retains Ending Thoughts/Predictions for the next show: Unpredictability galore! Stay Away From My New Friend: Ataxia is making friends left, right and center, Dorian, now Brad, nice way to kick things off! Anderson interview: Mr. Poutypants is setting things up for the brothers to be in dischord right away. While group dynamics are nice, it seems a little early for them to drift apart, especially since it echoes the Moxley angle, but good to see dynamics developing. Last Chance Battle Royale: Genius way of pulling it off, given the nature of the match, loved it! Burst Pipes: Classic Danger and also Lost Boys shenanigans, great set-up for hte match later on. Starr/Payne vs. Unstoppable Force: Can't judge, but tried to keep it interesting and give Billy Anderson some extra air miles... Walk Into Battle With the Lord: Love the intensity, beats some roleplays I've read since I've been here, ominous, surprised by the ending ![]() Paramount match: We finally have someone, who can hold on to a title around here, lol. Marksman really has come into his own here and nice match! An Old Acquaintance: Elisha is everywhere, even if he is not even booked! Amber really is getting the royal treatment here... Eris vs. Braxton and Cali vs. Coulter: I personally was surprised to see that both Lost Boys lost, but Sam is feisty today! AdMia Me: Last week we had Starr with a strong debut segment and this time Mia is very nicely showcasing what we can expect, great to see strong newcomers right now ![]() Getting into Trouble: Uh oh, Sam is being Sam, what is he up to? Nice build of suspense. Can A Starr Outshine The Sunset? Another strong segment for the new guy, getting in the face of Jace and actually coming out of it stronger than before. Nicely done Taking What Isn't Yours: Awesome continuation, very Sam, highly entertaining. Stranger Danger vs. Coalition: Obviously a tough one as handicap match, valiant fight, but not enough. Other than some Bloodletter towards the end the probably most cohesive Coalition match to date. Giving Back What's Yours: Great conclusion, great character building and also nice interaction with the Bright Young Things at the end, definitely one of the highlights. Shadow vs. Hawkhurst: Really loved the involvement of Ataxia in this one, many twists and turns and just the way he interacts with Dorian was really well done. Obviously it sucks that I lost, but oh well, great match. Making Arrangements: The animosities between Styles and Jace continue. Main event: Styles exiting the Eternals was something that had been on the horizon and it's been greatly integrated into the match, it was not just an abandonment, but it happened. Nicely done! I will try to leave my full review of the segments and matches from this week's show tonight after I get off work, but I just wanted to make a quick mention that I was particularly proud of this show for one reason. For the first time that I can remember since CWF's return I didn't have to write any segments this week! While I did have ideas for one, I ended up having a pretty busy week and decided it'd be better to space out the storyline I have in mind longer. And you guys really came with it this week seg wise, there was certainly no filler needed. The build-up to Confliction is looking awesome, great job everyone!

Overall Rating (1-10, 10=best, 1=Worst): 8 - Good show, it flowed really well. Best Match: Shadow vs. Hawkhurst - The match had just about everything you could expect him it when Ataxia is the referee. Best Commentary Line: Jim Gunt: Hawkhurst is on fire! Mike Rolash: Nah. It's lite beer. He's probably only thirty proof at best right now. Jim Gunt:...what the hell is wrong with you? Mike Rolash: Dealing with you for starts. Best Segment: The Lost Boys segments - Sam is fucking classic.. Honorable Mention: Walk Into Battle With The Lord - I can something like this happening, the crowd sitting there not knowing really got to take it. Best Surprise: Cali, Dean, and Eris all being adults about the situation Lol Best Feud/Storyline: So far I'm going with Ataxia/Dorian Hawkhurst, can't wait to see how this play out. MVP of the Week: Props to the Marksman for retaining Ending Thoughts/Predictions for the next show: Overall the show was a good read, none of the segments lacked anything on my opinion. Next show is going to be interesting, especially the main event. |

Overall Rating (1-10, 10=best, 1=Worst): 8 Best Match: Hawkhurst-Shadow Best Commentary Line: Gunt: That devastating diabolically deadly diving DDT! Mike Rolash: Someone's been subscribing to “Alliteration Weekly”. Best Segment: The Lost Boys' shenanigans Honorable Mention: AdMia Me! Best Surprise: no single surprise stuck out, but there's multiple storylines progressing in interesting directions at the moment and I'm looking forward to seeing more. Best Feud/Storyline: Styles and the breakdown of the Eternals MVP of the Week: Lost Boys. They were all very the show, great fun ![]() Ending Thoughts/Predictions for the next show: really looking v forward to a solid go home show before Confliction - let's make it a good'n

Overall Rating (1-10, 10=best, 1=Worst): Not going to give it a number grading, but I will say that I thought this was one of our better "middle of the block" Evolution's. Everything progressed well, not much filler, good show. Best Match: There were a few memorable matches this week. Out of the ones I didn't write, I would go with the majority and say Shadow vs. Dorian Hawkhurst with Ataxia as the special referee. Best Commentary Line: A few good ones so I'll pick one that hasn't been mentioned yet.. Mike Rolash: Finally, people paid to see these guys move, not just lazily lay around! Jim Gunt: I wish you would just lazily lay around. Preferably on a different planet. Best Segment: Gotta go "Walk Into Battle With The Lord". I actually had chills reading this segment, that never happens. Honorable Mention: Anything/everything Lost Boys. They were everywhere, but hilarious as always. Best Surprise: Freddie Styles finally turning his back on Jace & the Eternals officially? Dorian Hawkhurst winning the Impact Title despite having his arch rival as the special guest referee? Elisha torturing and tasering Amber Ryan and then bringing Cain into the mix to talk to her? Wow, I'd say there were a few surprises this week. Best Feud/Storyline: Ataxia/Dorian Hawkhurst, but the World Title feud and Elisha/Shadow are right behind. MVP of the Week: I'll go with the crowd and say Marksman Mora. Dude is on a roll, can he get past Stalker Knight next week though? Ending Thoughts/Predictions for the next show: It's the go home show to Confliction, pretty sure it's going to be balls. ====== Stay Away From My New Friend: First off I want to say it's been an absolute pleasure reading what these two have come up with for this feud. I put Ataxia/Dorian together on a whim at Modern Warfare knowing that both guys knew each other in the past, and wow has this feud been hot this month. "Ataxia reaches out and caresses Brad's cheek. Brad backs up and grabs his nightstick." Yeah, the fucking creepy Ataxia that we all know and love. Tax is ready to ref! Interview With Billy Anderson: Even though I edited Marcus Maximus into this segment (that is one word of advice I have for you, please don't write in "interviewer". CWF's backstage interviewers are Tara Robinson and Marcus Maximus, use one of them), I have to say that I love me some Marcus lol. I like what you are doing here adding some story to Billy and Tyler Anderson, but let's make sure they are not just a repeat of the Moxley's. You have really been improving lately and I don't want to see you fall back down, keep your head up and if you need any help there are plenty of people here that are here to talk. Last Chance Battle Royale: Okay, I will be completely honest. When Dan and I first talked on Facebook and he mentioned that he wanted to do something comedy-ish with this match instead of an actual match, I was a bit leery of the idea at first. I do enjoy comedy in matches don't get me wrong, it's just I wanted to make sure that Stalker got "over" since Thomas put up a decent RP for this Battle Royale. But I think the key thing to remember here is that unfortunately no one else did, so this was written this way so we didn't have yet another needless battle royale, it got Stalker over slightly as the winner, and we cut a whole lot of fat. Burst Pipes: Just the title draws you in, you know right away that this is probably going to be a fucking funny segment. And jesus...jesus, it does not let you down. It is Lost Boys/Harvey Danger shenanigans part two, and had me roaring in laughter. Great writing, classic. Looks like poor Harvey is going to miss the Tag match later on though? Christian Starr/Payne vs. Unstoppable Force: First off, the announcer segways from segments to matches- Alex you do a great job with that. Thank you, it makes the shows seem so much more realistic now. The match itself wasn't bad- had some Christian Starr trash talking, some good action. Christian is another star on the rise in CWF, pun intended. Walk Into Battle With The Lord: As I mentioned above, this segment just sent tingles down my spine it was so intense. The dual chanting between Elisha and the Chosen reminded me of everything I love about people like Undertaker/Bray Wyatt etc but did not feel too ripoff-ish in the slightest. The way Elisha broke Shadow down vocally was amazing, the ending with the symbols changing, this segment really lit a fire on what was already an on fire feud. Shit. Paramount Title Triple Threat Match: I wrote this one so I can't really judge it, but what I will say is that I have had fun the last two weeks writing the Paramount Title matches and Ronnie better live up to those standards next week. LOL, j/k. But seriously An Old Acquaintance: As if the first Elisha segment wasn't already absolutely incredible, this one damn near tops it. I would still go with Walk Into Battle as my top seg for the week, but god damn, the interactions with Elisha and a nearly dead Amber Ryan are just incredible here. And then when Elisha calls someone in at the end and it's Alex Cain? For those that weren't in CWF years ago Amber & Cain used to be in a face stable together with Elijah & Omega called the Insurgency back in the day. So this one really rang home to me, I marked for it for sure. Eris vs. Sam Braxton: Great action in this one- back and forth with some reversals. Eris picks up the singles win, but how will Cali fare against Dean Coulter later? AdMia Me!: So this was just about as good of a debut segment as I have seen. The only thing I would say as a negative is there really is no storyline progression here, but that is very hard to do with a debut seg, especially when a storyline hasn't been handed to the handler right out of the gate (not that we aren't working on one haha). "She stops suddenly and doubles over. One would think she was in pain, but no, she is just laughing. Paralyzed by hysterical laughter she collapses in the middle of the spotlight. Her high pitched laughter rings throughout the arena and the crowd honestly has no idea what to make of her." Felt like Rosemary, but I still loved it. Getting Into Trouble: Uh oh Sam is about to get in more trouble. I must say one negative piece of feedback though as hard as it is to do, I would say there maybe was a touch too much Lost Boys this week. I felt maybe this could have been somehow added into one of the other segments so that there weren't so many? Caledonia vs. Dean Coulter: "Coulter recovers slowly, Cali seeing an open opportunity. She runs towards the ropes, hand springing off them, but her knee buckles. Dean doesn't waste the opportunity, grabbing her and driving her into the mat with a BRIDGING LEG HOOK BELLY TO BACK SUPLEX!" I absolutely love it when a writer plays on an injury. This match was another great one, and now the Lost Boys have both went down one on one vs. the champions. BUT they also have a tag team non-title victory over them. Who will get the final laugh at Confliction? Can a Starr Outshine the Sunset?: I will say the interactions with Jace/Sunset felt a touch out of character, but only a touch and for a writer that really doesn't know either character yet, I would say that this segment was actually quite well written. Christian's handler and I talked on facebook about what he could do for a segment this week and I suggested this and the announcing the Fatal Fourway next week. I would say he did pretty damn good in implementing it all. Taking What Isn't Yours: Speaking of getting the last laugh, I guess the Lost Boys are nowhere near done bringing them! Sam and his "borrowing" of the titles clearly doesn't please his partner as much as he foolishly thought that it would. "NOW MISTER!" Lol. Stranger Danger vs. The Coalition: With Harvey Danger still apparently locked in the broom closet, The Lost Soul looks like he is going to have to go at this one alone. I thought this one was a pretty good match, nothing too out there but certainly a nice win for Silas & Autumn, especially after TLS just upset Jace last week. Giving Back What's Yours: Before I speak about this final segment to this weekly series, which by the way was great, I want to quickly say to all segment writers- PLEASE title your segments! I had to put a title to these segments and tbh felt like if Dallas was titling them they would have had funnier title names. The segment itself was quality however, the interactions with Eris & Cali and the Lost Boys was a lot more low key than one would expect, light hearted almost. I bet ya Sam really feels like the black sheep of the team now. The Shadow vs. Dorian w/ Ataxia as Ref: So this was another great match. The interactions with Ataxia trying to taunt Dorian, pouring the booze on him, Brad coming back to pepper spray Ataxia in the eyes which caused him to not realize Dorian had reversed the pin on Shadow, everything worked so well and really furthered the Dorian/Ataxia feud even better than I expected that it would. Making Arrangements: Freddie Styles is ready to go in tonight's main event, and Jace is ready...to go on vacation? WTF? The nonchalant, dickhead champion really comes into his own here and Styles is not backing down. "Freddie Styles: Just know that there are some people on this roster hungry for a chance to knock you off your high horse." <-- that was a great line. Jace Valentine & Freddie Styles vs. MJ Flair & Duce Jones: Another one that I wrote so I can't give too much of a critique. What I will say though is that it was a little different for me writing this one because the writers have a storyline arc all written out for this feud, and I had set instructions for certain things to get into this match. Not that there is anything wrong with that at all, actually it made it more of a fun challenge, and I wish more writers would take this much of a concern in their own storylines. The added angle of the new referee was something I enjoyed, the screwjob at the end definitely kept up with Jace (and the other three)'s angle. The ending with Freddie turning on Jace was a long time coming and now we have our PPV main event set! |

Overall Rating (1-10, 10=best, 1=Worst): 8 Best Match: Dorian/Shadow Best Commentary Line: Definitely Mike hitting on Caledonia Best Segment: The Elisha segments... Honorable Mention: AdMia Me Best Surprise: Dorian winning the Impact title..with Tax as the ref? Best Feud/Storyline: The young guns vs. Jace/Sunset MVP of the Week: Dorian Ending Thoughts/Predictions for the next show: Welp...one more show till the PPV...and it's gonna create a whole lot more questions lol |

Stay Away from my New Friend Ataxia is kind of a dick. Brad is just doing his job, and he's getting threatened for it. I don't see value in beating up NPCs... they're like the henchmen on Batman. Interview with Billy Anderson Marcus is awesome, but Billy doesn't seem to understand the difference between an accident and a deliberate attack. "I don't care if our opponent moved, my partner shouldn't have hit his finish on me" is an old trope, but it's not a good one. Last Chance Battle Royal Ryan Sunset uses a Bright Eyes song... he is a 100% douche and I will celebrate his inevitable downfall. This was a good idea to clear a lot of dead weight from the roster: and we did so. Congrats to Stalker Knight for not no-showing. Burst Pipes Harvey has apparently learned not a thing. Christian Starr/Payne vs Unstoppable Force Weird to see this after the opening segment and the issues between Billy and Tyler. Still, this was a strong debut by Starr and Payne that gave them a nice opening boost. Walk into Battle with the Lord I am against cults. Marksman vs Crazy Chris vs Azrael Marksman is on a roll, good for him. Titles need stability. An Old Aquaintence Interesting. Forced imprisonment, torture, having to listen to the Childlike Empress speak? Amber Ryan totally has a lawsuit to file. Eris vs Sam Braxton Tough on Sam Braxton - if he could get the win over Eris he and his partner might be able to work it into a title shot. He'll have to try again. AdMia Me! And a debut segment. Best way to do things. Little too matter-of-fact for my taste, her debut should've maybe been tempered by commentary from the announcers, but that's just personal preference. Getting Into Trouble Sam sees something shiny. Probably didn't need a segment. Caledonia vs Dean Coulter Same as before - if the Champs beat the Lost Boys one on one, how can the Lost Boys win as a team? We need a new number one contender. Can a Starr outshine the Sunset? Christian STARR trying to jump the line and get in the Champ's face from the start, well, he's gonna have to settle it down and try to win the Paramount instead. Taking What isn't Yours Feel like this should've been set up better. Sam nicked the title belts, but his match happened first, and Caledonia clearly had her title during her match with Dean. When did it happen? Stranger Danger vs The Coalition Was wondering how this would go, and it was pretty much as expected: good on TLS for trying to go it alone. Giving Back What's Yours Still have no idea how the Lost Boys got the belts. The Shadow vs Dorian Hawkhurst Ataxia as the special guest ref. Good on Dorian for striking gold this early in his career... but these three now have to be a team. Who saw this coming? Making Arrangements Jace, jace, Jace... Main Event I booked. |
