Gliscor (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Sand Veil
EVs: 244 HP / 216 Def / 8 Spd / 40 SDef
Impish nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Earthquake
- Roost
- Stealth Rock / Knock Off
- Aerial Ace / Ice Fang / Knock Off / Taunt

This is often the most popular choice of Gliscor. Arguably the best Heracross (and fighting) counter in the game is definitely something Gliscor in general prides itself on, and this set certainly does it the best.
Earthquake is there as your main attack, to hit Metagross, Tyranitar, incoming Heatran, Lucario and so on.
Roost there for survivability, and to make Tyranitar's Stone Edge not very effective, as it faster than all Adamant versions.
3rd slot is reserved for some support. Stealth Rock is usually the most popular choice, but Knock Off I always find to be infinitely more useful - especially on Stall teams.
The 4th slot is where personal preference and how the rest of team is shaped is how you decide what you want it to do. Aerial Ace is there for Heracross and Breloom, who're big players and hate being killed off by Gliscor. Ice Fang is there for incoming Salamence, expecting you to put down a Stealth Rock so they can get a free Draco Meteor, or whatever, Garchomp and it also hits your fellow Gliscor brethren. Knock Off is an option here too, as if you choose Stealth Rock in the 3rd slot, you can still benefit from Knock Off's annoyances. Taunt is there as your last slot, which will put Sleeping Cresselia out of action, stop Gyarados/Tyranitar Dragon Dancing (or even Taunting you!), Skarmory's Whirlwind, Bronzong's Hypnosis, etc.

EVs are placed so you benefit from maximum Leftovers recovery, and making the most out of Gliscor's above average defence, giving him a fighting chance against some big hitters, but without over-doing it.
The 8 EVs in Spd are only there so you can outrun your fellow Gliscor allowing you to Taunt them or Ice Fang them first, or get your Roost in before they Ice Fang you.
Then the rest dumped into SDef bumping up it's pretty crappy SDef a little bit allowing it to come in on special Fighting moves a little easier, and then some much weaker special moves, if it so needs to.

Gliscor (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Hyper Cutter
EVs: 244 HP / 216 Def / 48 SDef
Impish nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Baton Pass
- Earthquake
- Roost / Taunt
- Agility / Rock Polish

A cool alternative over the standard set, which can make decent use of it's ability to Baton Pass.
Taunt is listed as it can be cool to Taunt Skarmory's Whirlwind stopping it passing your Agilities to something in your team.
Agility or Rock Polish are both listed as I like how it gets both. I personally prefer Agility, but some may like the name "Rock Polish" better.

EVs are laid out in the same was as above, minus the Spd EVs, as it is using Agility to double it's Spd stat, then pass that on. It of course doesn't need any speed at all to outspeed everything after Agility due to it's pretty decent base 95 Spd.

Hyper Cutter is listed on this set, as you don't want a Gyarados or Salamence coming in and ruining you fun if you plan to pass Agility's to a Physical or Mixed sweeper.

Gliscor (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Hyper Cutter
EVs: 244 HP / 208 Def / 56 Spd
Impish nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Baton Pass
- Earthquake
- Roost / Taunt
- Swords Dance / Substitute

This is the Swords Dance / Substitute passing variant, listed separately as it could have been confusing me listing both in the same place. The only notable difference is that it now has 56 Spd EVs (giving you 240 Spd) allowing you to outrun Max Speed Adamant Breloom (lol), allowing you to get off your Baton Pass/Substitute before it Spore's you.
Oh, and of course Substitute/Swords Dance over Agility.

Everything else is the same.

Gliscor (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Hyper Cutter
EVs: 156 HP / 136 Atk / 216 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Earthquake
- U-turn / Roost / Aerial Ace
- Swords Dance
- Stone Edge

Sweeping set!
Swords Dance up and attack. Pretty inferior to the likes of Garchomp, but can still be fun and catch some stuff out.
U-Turn is listed so you can get out of the way of some counters. Skarmory, Milotic, Suicune, Slowbro, Cresselia, Celebi, Tangrowth, etc. Generally proving to be very useful.
Roost listed so you can last a lot longer, though the lack of a 3th attack will more than likely be your downfall.
Aerial Ace listed so Breloom doesn't wall you stupid, and so you can put the hurt on Heracross, Machamp, Hariyama, Tangrowth, Celebi and anything else that may be weak to Flying and not your other Attacks - preferably resisting one.

EVs allow you to outrun max speed, neutral natured base 90 Pokémon such as Specs Lucario and PorygonZ.
You don't need much attack, as you're going to be doubling it, at the very least, which also allows for some more HP to come in on certain Pokémon.
You can use a Life Orb as a held item as well, though this is not advised, as the only thing Gliscor ahs over Garchomp is it's survivability, and taking away the Leftovers removes this completely.

This set is also available with a Jolly Nature, using enough speed to outrun Adamant Garchomp (196 Spd EVs).

Gliscor (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Hyper Cutter
EVs: 244 HP / 252 Atk / 12 Def
Jolly nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- Aerial Ace / U-Turn
- Agility / Rock Polish

Alternate set to that above. Same idea, except with speed over power.
EVs allow it to come in on fighting attacks without really considering otherwise, and still pack one decent punch.
Rock Polish is there again, as I like typing it out.

Separated once more and not listed as another option, as it's worth mentioning this, and if I didn't set it out like this, it could be confusing.

Gliscor (M) @ Choice Band
Ability: Hyper Cutter
EVs: 80 HP / 252 Atk / 176 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Earthquake
- Ice Fang / Stone Edge
- Aerial Ace
- U-Turn

Final set is a Choice Band one.
Again, verging dangerously close to being a shitty Garchomp, but with U-Turn, and a bit more survivability, just about avoids that.
Very straightforward, and I don't think it's worth explaining the moveset.

EVs are basically the same as the Swords Dance one, but with more attack - outrunning base 90's with neutral natures.
Of course a Jolly nature can be used, but that removes some of Gliscor's attacking potential, and the extra speed really doesn't help it that much - though saying that, outrunning Timid Lucario's and PorygonZ's is definitely something that should be mentioned as being worthy of it.
I'll let the user decide: Outrun a couple of things, or hit harder... Or use Garchomp :)

Other Options
U-Turn on the first Swords Dance set...
Fire Fang to hit Forretress and Scizor harder, though they cannot do anything to you in the first place. Though an advantage of Fire Fang is that it does hit Bronzong which walls every other one of your attacks. Skarmory is completely un-phased by it.
It gets Night Slash to hit Cresselia with!
Screech to act as a Pseudo-Phaze attempt.
Thunder Fang to hit Gyarados for more.
Toxic could be useful.
Wing Attack over Aerial Ace if you're PP anal.
A Rest/Talk set could be used as well, though not very useful.
Everything else has been mentioned.

Opinion
Decent choice for any team when looking for a Tyranitar counter and/or a Fighting/Ground resist.
Ample selection of support moves which can aid any team in any way, as well as having half decent offencive spreads that can be lethal in the right situation(s).
Sticking to the first 2 (well 3) sets will guarantee the most out of your Gliscor, and therefor making it a decent choice for any OU Team, especially those based around Sandstorm.

Counters
Skarmory can come in on anything Gliscor has on offer, and wall it silly. Taunt and Knock Off versions will annoy it and possibly force it out though.
Bronzong will do the same thing, and with the threat of Hypnosis and Hidden Power [Ice] (I don't know how out of date I am, but I assume people still use HP Ice), will make Gliscor swap out without a second though. Knock Off will put it in it's place though, and Hypnosis/HP Ice Lacking versions will just be stalled out by Gliscor.
Celebi can come in on anything it'll do as well, forcing it out with fear of STAB Grass moves and Knock Off.
Same applies to Tangrowth (assuming it's a special version).
Cresselia will come in on anything and Ice Beam it away, though Knock Off will really piss it off, as well as Swords Dance'd U-Turn's
Breloom will stop all Aerial Ace-less versions dead, and just set up in-front of them. Being unafraid of Knock Off even means Gliscor has nothing on offer to scare Breloom. Even Ice Fang doesn't do enough to scare it away. It'll Leech Seed you and put up Substitute after Substitute, stalling you of your HP. The ever present Spore is frightening for Gliscor as well.
Any Bulky water will be able to come in on Gliscor and scare if odd, making fun of it's base 75 SDef. Though the Choice Band set can actually land a 2HKO on Swampert and a few others. Suicune is a pain and a half though.
Gyarados will too be able to come in on most things, and s=force it out, or set up.
Salamence will also be able to come in on it most times, and frighten it away. Knock Off and Ice Fang as possibilities could make it think twice though.

It is surprisingly difficult to solidly counter something with Knock Off and Taunt when you consider how few Pokémon that doesn't shut down completely, or disarm of so much power.
