Anyone played it yet?

I got it last Saturday and nearly beat the game. It's pretty fun, but they seem to have made the puzzles easier to solve. Yes it is controlled by the touchscreen, which at times can be anoying since it makes it hard for me to roll, and I keep falling off cliffs. The touch screen does make it easier to use my favorite weapons, the bow and arrow, and now it's even easier to kill bats with boomarangs.

This game uses all the DS's features except the actual control pad. Theres parts of the games where you use your mic, and you even have to fold up your DS to solve one of the puzzles.

I have it. I've played for less than 4 hours, as I'm always busy (I'm even at work right now.) I love the game so far, I'm currently in front of the 2nd dungeon.

Sweeeet: I was thinking of buying Phantom Hourglass for my birthday, so far everything I've heard about it has been positive.

Now this is a negative than (if you consider it negative)

In the past zelda games you had a chain of items to trade that went on to about 30 trades before you get something good. Now it's only 4. I guess it's only negative if you like the random trading.

Now for positives:

The random minigames are awsome!

I'm preordering it tomorrow. It comes out 19th, so I'll get it then. And it looks so cool.

I got to the last boss (yay).

He's so damn hard to kill. I'm supposed to stop time by drawing a figure eight on the screen,, which I do, but I can never get time to stop!. I've only done it twice and both times was a fluke!

Also a part of the game where you have to draw symbols is weird. I had to draw trhe triforce, which I did, but since I didn't draw it the way the DS wanted me to, it wouldn't recognize it. So I drew it the way it wanted me to, except I made it look weird and crooked, and it accepted it!

Grr, I'd be done the game now if I could only master stopping time (or if the DS knew what a friggin figure eight is when it sees it!)

EDIT: Thanks to penngrade6 of SPPf I learned how to stop time and beat the game.

I beat it like a week ago. I thought it was one of the best DS games I have ever played.

Okay, I just beat it and I have a queston.

After going through the credits and the ending I rebooted the game and saw that the ghost ship was still there. Will it just stay there forever and you'll have an option to fight it like the final boss in Castlevania Dawn of Sorrow? what's the deal.

hi sb
pretty sure the game doesn't save once you beat the final boss, so if you play the same file again it'll be like you've never actually beaten it.

I never finished it. I did however purchase a PH Link decal for my car. It's pretty awesome.

how unfulfilling.

Would you rather have it disappear and have no one to fight afterwards?

That's what happened in my Seasons and Ages. Made me feel sad because when I finally got the Master Sword, Ganon had already been slain.
