This time, I'm changing the plot around a bit. --- Plot: He wanted the best of his son. He provided the best education money could buy. A plethora of Pokemon, provided to him for his disposal. He made his son train, sun up to sundown learning of tactics, types, and battling. He raised his son from infancy to current adolescence in the ways of Pokemon. In other words, he wanted his son to be superior to anyone, and anything. He already knew his son was the best; he just needed to show this to the world. Thus, a tournament was created. From the Hall of Fame records, he drafted only the best and renowned trainers from the past four years to participate in this grand, international event. He saw this as the ultimate tests for these so-called "champions" who thought they could best his prodigy. This was the best chance to let the world know who the true Pokemon Master was. There has to be a reason behind all of this. Perhaps he simply wanted to help his son be all he could be. Maybe he wanted his son to achieve more than he ever could. Or maybe he's trying to prove something to someone. Or something... Some may not originate from CBC. The tournament will possibly be some huge event whereas a lot of people will take part of. Each trainer will be made a trainer card as their Bio. The cards will animate the character's Pokemon, trainer stats, and the likes, when I learn to master ImageReady. And when I'm not so lazy to make them. I'll probably create custom-made trainer cards, since standard ones are pretty unappealing to me. Best get your sprites ready, folks.

I'll probably have to get used to the metagame before I even attempt to join a Shoddy tournament. --- I think that I'll be making up the tournament parings in the comic. What fun is it to already know who'll be the victor before it's even made? The tournament isn't going to begin as divisions. It'll be more of a 'fight for your right to participate' type of contest at first. The victors then move onto the actual tournament.

So an actual start on the comic will take a while. If I can find a way for this to work, I'll be using DP Pokemon in the comic. I'll have to make some custom poses if I'm placed against a wall. Anyways, I need ideas on what the layout of the trainer cards should include. Feel free to throw things out there. Current ideas: Pokemon Stats @ Movepools Slideshow
