King of Sceptiles Posts: 1,044 Group: Reg. Member #70 Joined: July 10, 2007	btw, I simplified it slightly, assuming you're at level 100 it's now: ((Move Power x [Sp]Atk)/[Sp]Def) + 2 x All those modifiers if they apply x (Rand 0.85-1)

HI I AM A FUCKING NIGGER BITCH GUK Posts: 400 Group: Super Moderator Member #5 Joined: April 4, 2007	regardless, it still doesn't work. just taking a sample calculation: 388 Attack with STAB Earthquake on 65 Defense (spreadsheet): 640-754 388 Attack with STAB Earthquake on 65 Defense (shortened formula): 762-897 (I factored in STAB in the move power)

HI I AM A FUCKING NIGGER BITCH GUK Posts: 400 Group: Super Moderator Member #5 Joined: April 4, 2007	Damage Calculator (among other things) something I made in excel. it consists of 2 sheets, sheet 1 has a damage and stat calculator, while sheet 2 calculates the power of variable power moves (most notably hidden power). all variables are placed directly above their corresponding text. refer to this thread for most of the needed explanations on how to work the damage calculator. on the other hand, the stat calculator requires basically no explanation, except that perhaps to note that Nature isn't case-sensitive. and just two things to watch out for: - Attack Modifiers? and Defense Modifiers? both default at 0, and if any non-whole number between -6 and 6 is entered for either, the damage calculation is greatly messed up (you'll get an incredibly low result). - any cell with results that cannot be seen in the default size viewing window should not be edited.

Assuming you're lvl 100 ((0.84 x Base Power x [Sp]Atk)/[Sp]Def) +2 x Rand (0.85-1) x All boosts you get EDIT: Tested it as well, gave me the same damage Psypokes calculator does (First one on google for Pokemon Damage Calculator)
