Has anyone planned to fish any CBAF tournaments this year , www.thecbaf.com? I fish two tournaments a year with them and have signed up with Dave Erwin's Practice with a Pro. I have a ton of fun with local club and Angler Choice tournaments, but nothing makes me happier then giving back to the kids and Vets.

1. Kid's Bass Camp. 4-5 hours taking a kid out on your boat at Collins lake - May 3, 2009.
2. Toys for Troops' kids. Full blown team tournament and you will be surprized to see what Pros show up - Nov. 7, 2009.

Dave Erwin is retired USAF and sponsor'd by the USAF. He set up a program called Practice with a Pro. Basically anytime a Vet wants to fish he will sent the lead to someone that has signed up. Work it around your schedule and fish with the best the USA has. http://www.veteranangler.com/Practice+With+A+Pro/Information/

Anyone going to any of these events please let me know and we can roll together. I may even get a S.C. BassBuster hat if I can find one.

Great, let me know how you do. I read that the lake is only 17' down from being full. It is a long drive, but well worth it.

Just fyi I didn't fish the toys for the troops kids tournament but I did collect toys and sent them straight to the address on the website. I ended up fishing the coyote anderson tournament instead. That being said if you all have new toys you want to send to them you don't have to fish the event to do so. Here is the address I sent my toys too.
