Are you sure this is the right site. I think the people who are looking out for the salmon are the same people who want to get rid of the bass population. Please check it out before joining. :)

if you want to get serious about "DOING" something....... go to this site and support them. These guys are fighting for our fishery, these guys are armed with lawyers. The money that is donated to the CSPA goes to support our fight. Go to the site ans read up. These guys (I'm pretty sure) will even send someone to speak at club meetings. Clubs can make donations as well as individuals.

From my research the water4fish.org folks basically seem to be trying to keep CA waters clean and flowing. As stated in their objectives,"...to better protect all fish but particularly the threatened and endangered species."

I noticed that Mel's, Fisherman's Warehouse, Coyote Bait, also Randy Pringle and Western Outdoor News are listed as supporters.

I personally think that the water use is a much more pressing issue than removing limits and other restrictions on introduced species.

I can't even catch 5 and I'm trying as hard as I freaking can!

This is the latest from the CSPA site:

http://www.calsport.org/cspa3-18-09.htm

There are some good sample letters and addresses of people to send them to at the links at the bottom of the article.
