I just read on Western Bass that throw cushions must be on the DECK of the boat or you could get a fine. Also some fine line about 100 feet of rope attached to it. I have fished with this club for many years and and no one has had their throw cushion on the deck. I remember once being checked with Henry at a Delta Tourny and was warned the cushion had to be on the deck. No fine was issued as Henry had one in his storage but was repeatedly told it must be on the deck somewhere. I wonder if that means even if your'e running. Anyone had any run ins with the patrols? |

Went to www.dbw.ca.gov/Pub/Abc/regequip.pdf ,this is a gov. site ,the only thing i could find about throwables was that they had to be readily accesible.I saw no mention of on deck. Probably left up to the officers interpretation,May be others can go look for them selves.Possibly something to discuss at our meeting . |
