The chains on his right hand fingers, now tucked into his sleeve and wrapped around his wrist. He didn't show it but his fights with the Genei Ryodan had tired him out |

Hakkai nodded and sat on the couch next to Hakuryu. The dragon crawled into Hakkai's lap as soon as he sat down. "Of course. Please rest well then. There is no rush in these things. We have plenty of time." he spoke softly as he watched his tiny companion, ever so slightly stroking his back. |

He stood up, gently laying Hakuryu on the couch he was sitting on, and walked over to the blond. He smiled warmly, "Hi there. l don't think we've met before. l'm Cho Hakkai." he extended a hand to the boy. |

In truth Kurapika wasn't sleeping though he really looked like it. He remained leaning back into the reclining chair and listened to the noise goin on around him. He would move only when he knew for sure that he was in danger. |

As more people gathered Kurapika finally opened his eyes and looked around quickly matching voices to faces. The blonde didn't say a word just watched intently, he moved his right hand slightly incase there would be a fight causing the chains wrapped around his wrist to clank softly |

Shizuka smiled slightly and nodded, "Thank you." Then the silverer haired man entered the atmosphere immediately darkened. 'This is like how it is in my world.' she thought as she reached from the staff in her backpack. 'l really didn't want to fight again. l hate fighting. l thought this world was going to be safe.' Hakkai made no move to ready himself to fight. He walked over to Kurama and the silver haired man and with his warmest smile greeted them. "Hello there. What might we be needing saving from?" |

Shinomi slowly entered the room his usual attachment to the shadows being noticed as the darkness seemed to surround him lessing the light around him. He closed his eyes lightly and the shadows slowly fell to normal. His eyes lighty gliding over the room noticing all who was here as he pushed down the hood of his cloak. He didn't seem to be too interested in the fighting going but he kept an eye on it as he moved by everyone finding an open spot on a couch. He sighed a little and let a small flame dance in the palm of his growing and he let the anger in the room fuel it. He smiled a little and let his voice slide over the room "Not too much of a calm time is it." Somehow he did not sound quiet or loud but his voice reached most people in the room. |

Geode started laughing, and for some reason began staring at the ceiling as he did. "Oh, I don't know what it is just.. YET!" He suddenly swatted around, as of trying to kill a fly buzzing about. "Sorry about that. But I do know that the house... not the world, but this very house.... will be under menace soon... I saw it in a dream just the other day." "A dream? Of what?," Ed asked, now curious as to who the guy was. "We were all... dying horribly. Just like my brother... and my friends... and my parents. I don't know why I dreamt of something like that. I guess it has to do with what happened to my mind. It sort of.... died a while ago. I even buried it in the backyard. I gave it a grave-marker and everything. I guess a good premonition was enough to kill it." "And how can we assume that you're telling the truth? Is this just another excuse to go on with your rivalry against Chris?," Kurama said. Geode stopped laughing, and suddenly walked right up to Kurama, looking him right in the eye. "Well, I guess you very well can't. Then again though, you trust that murderer, so I think I'm due at least one benefit of the doubt, aren't I?" With that, he turned back toward the exit, but briefly turned back to face. "Well, I've given you fair warning, so you'd best be prepared when something comes up, and I know it'll happen soon... but until that time, TTFN." He then finished leaving the house, muttering, "now let's get back on with that play...," as he did. Ling then walked out of the kitchen, half a chicken leg in his mouth. "Did I hear someone yelling a few seconds ago?" |

Shinomi watched Geode and the others, he was actually smiling at the idea of chaos. The fire in his hands died as a smirk came across his face. "So he's saying that something interesting will be happening soon. Oh how long I've been waiting" He laid back in the chair putting his feet up them hovering as if they were on a footrest. He yawned a little. "I've been a bit bored lately." He closed his eyes slightly drifting but still paying attention to the happenings in the room. |

"That man's name is Geode," Kurama began. "As you can tell, his sanity has all but , although he is far worse now than when I last met him. He has dreams of becoming a god in order to 'better' the world, claiming that without him we'll eventually kill ourselves. In particular he hates a youth named Chris..." "Chris..... you aren't talking about that one guy that lost it a while ago, are you?," Ed asked. "Yes... they came from the same world. From what he said, Chris accidentially caused the death of his brother, and Geode has wanted him dead ever since." 'That sounds sorta like Scar....' Ed thought to himself, chilled a bit at the thought of the Ishbalan that had nearly taken his life. "I don't know if he really is trying to 'save' us this time, but considering how many times this world has been attacked by individuals, as well as a threatening prescence I felt about an hour ago, I think we should at least be a bit cautious." Ling sighed, shaking his head as he began to speak to his alchemist companion. "It seems like everywhere I go with you some sort of danger winds up coming our way." "Hey, don't blame me for all this stuff that's been goin' on!," Ed yelled. It seemed like the Xing Prince had some way of annoying him any time he opened his mouth. |
