"I still say we should be trying to take on whatever this thing is! I feel like a coward hiding up here in this house waiting for them to attack!" Inuyasha angrily put his jaw up to his chin. It had been months now since the last time he had really seen action, and as a result the hanyou was starting to grow restless. Kurama sighed and continued writing down notes. "Whoever the person I saw flying through the sky a little while ago was, I don't think a head on confrontation is the best option. Remember what happened last time?" Inuyasha simply grumbled slightly in response. "And just what're you doing anyway? I always hated it when Kagome did that 'book work' of hers..... it wound up wasting time when we could have been searching for more Shikon no Tama shards. Don't tell me you're doing homework of your own!" "To answer your question, right I'm trying to figure out when each and every person was taken to the Anime Reality House." "And why are you doing this again? Do you think it's a really neat hobby or somethin' like that?" "I'm trying to figure out its pattern of bringing people here, as well as what happened to bring them in, what they were doing at the time, and such," Kurama explained. "I'm hoping to try and figure more and more about how this world runs. Perhaps if I can do that, I can figure some sort of way out of this world. Unfortuantely, I have yet to figure out a link between everyone. There seems to be similarities in the way people are brought in, but so far there isn't enough to establish one true link." |

Kurama continued writing down names, dates, times, ways of arrival, and such in his notes before putting his pencil down. "I think I'm going to have to start asking around a bit more. Though from what I've seen so far, this world apparently has a time period of teleporting certain amounts of people here. After these periods are up, time passes before the world once again increases its population." "And how does this help us get back to our world again?" "I admittedly don't have an idea yet," Kurama started, "but, if I can figure out this world's rules, it could help us go in that direction." He stood up and turned towards the door. "Listen Inuyasha, you stay here. I'm going to ask around a bit, and I want you to guard the place while I'm gone." "Fine. I might as well do it. Better than doing absolutely nothing.... but if I see that flying guy you mentioned earlier, I'm going after him, got it?" Kurama sighed. Knowing Inuyasha, he probably would. The reincarnated demon simply left the room and headed down the steps, hoping to finish questioning before the hanyou grew even more restless. |

Shizuka walked along the streets of her now dangerous and deadly city. She had lost the companions she was traveling with in their last battle with the zombies that where once the citizens of her ordinary city. "Mina-san! Molly-san! Tasuki-san!" she began to shake, holding her staff close to her body. "How did this happen? How am l going to find them?" She leaned against a building to catch her breath, when she suddenly heard a sound a little ways down the street. She saw three people moving towards her, but they were too far for her to tell who they were. She didn't care though. She waved to them, shouting, "Hey! l'm over here!" hoping that she would not regret her out bursts. The people stopped and looked in her direction, not responding to her. Shizuka swallowed hard, and held her breath. "Uh oh. l think l'm in trouble." she said to herself. Without warning the three rushed her, and revealed themselves to be zombies, and not her three friends. Shizuka screamed and took off running. She ran down an alley, the zombies closing in on her. Seeing that she had backed herself in to corner, she turned and faced the zombies. "l have no other choice, but to. . ." her words were cut off as she ceased to feel the ground beneath her feet. She looked down and saw that the pavement beneath her had turned to nothingness. She started to fall, as one of the zombies attacked her. --------------------------------------- Shizuka fell through the ceiling of the bedroom and crashed onto the bed. She moaned as she came to a sudden stop, and some the springs of the matris jabbed her body. She wasn't sure what was going on, she was between being conscious and not. She kept her eyes closed, and all sounds around her were muffled. Suddenly she felt her body rock side to side as the zombie got pulled through with her and was standing above her on the bed. lt reached up it's clawed hand and brought it down on her. Shizuka didn't know why, but she figured that now was as good a time as ever, and let the darkness cover her mind. |

Inuyasha looked up as he saw a girl and a monster fall through the ceiling to the bed below. He couldn't tell if the girl was okay, but the monster was standing fine, obviously not damaged from the fall. It seemed to be an undead creature, but didn't look to be too much of a threat; his Tetsusaiga would hardly be needed here. Although he knew that he'd hardly get some exercise out of it, at least it was something to break up the tedium he was suffering. "I think the basics can be used to take this thing down! Sankon Tesso!" He quickly lunged towards the zombie, digging his claws into the creature. |

The zombie flew through the air and disinigrated before it had time to hit the floor. Shizuka's staff clattered to the floor as she fell unconscious. She didn't know why she allowed herself to pass out, but she just had a feeling that everything was all right now. |

After taking care of the zombie, Inuyasha turned towards the girl, who he could tell now had blue hair. She looked a little battered from the fall, but otherwise she seemed unharmed. "Hey you! Girl! Are you injured?" |

Shizuka heard Inuyasha's voice faintly in her mind. 'That. . .That's not Tasuki. Who is that?' she thought as she started to come back to her senses. She rolled over to her back, holding the left side of her abdomen, where a spring from the matris had dug into her extra hard. She forced her eyes to open and allowed her eyes to focus. She stared wide eyed at Inuyasha for a few moments. 'He has. . .dog ears?!' she thought to herself. 'What's going on? Who is this man? And how did l get in this room? l though l was facing those zombies in the alley.' Her mind was racing with these and many other questions, all the while she held her side which was constantly shooting pains up and down the whole left side of her body. |

Upon closer inspection, the hanyou saw that the girl seemed to have something sticking inside her, though he didn't really know what it was. "Great. And of all times that Kurama guy has to leave the room. I think he has some sort of healing ability." Suddenly, Ayane opened the door. "Wait a second... this isn't my room. I can't even tell these stupid doors apart..." After looking around it, she saw some guy with long silver hair, with what looked like... dog ears poking from his head. "........I'm not even going to ask." She just as quickly closed the door shut. |

Shizuka watched Ayane enter then just as quickly leave the room. "What. . .what's going on?" she looked at Inuyasha. "Where. . .What is this place? How did l get here? And. . .and. . .just what are you?" she held back tears as she backed away from the dog eared man, making sure not to fall off the bed. She didn't mean for her question to come out the way it did, but after everything she went through in her world prior to coming to this one, she was just a 'little' stressed. |

"I don't think you should be talking with that sort of injury...... you don't want to make it worse, do you?" "Inuyasha, what's going on?," Kurama said as he returned to the room. "I hear something about you attacking someone...." "The only thing I attacked was some undead monster that was trying to kill this girl that teleported in here!," the hanyou yelled. "She has some sort of injury at her side.... I don't know what it is though." Kurama stepped over to the girl. She seemed confused and terrified, and no doubt at least part of it was because she was another newcomer to the ARH. He hoped she. "Will it be okay if I can take a look at this?," he asked. "Don't worry.... we won't hurt you. My name is Kurama.... or Shuichi, if you prefer to call me, and my..... associate... is Inuyasha." |

Shizuka suddenly felt herself calming down while Kurama talked to her. His voice was so kind, soft and soothing; she couldn't help but relax. She looked cofused at him though as Inuyasha talked about and injury. She looked down at her side and saw that she had been injured at one point, not noticing though as everything happened around her at once. She looked back to Kurama, "You may. . .but you don't need to worry about me. l'm sure this small injury will heal on it's own in the next minute or two." she could all ready feel her skin rejoining, as her EGS sped up her healing. "l'm Oidasu Shizuka. l'm sorry for my outbursts earlier. l thought you were another zombie at first. l sort of wish you were, then l would have an idea as to what's going on." she looked around the room again. "Where is this place?" |

Inuyasha watched in some amazement as the girl's injuries healed up almost instantaneously. 'Whoever this girl is, she's definitely not as ordinary as she looks.' Kurama also took note of Shizuka's ability, but decided to hold on asking questions about it until he made sure everything was okay with her. "As odd as it may seem, you're in another world; another reality. As far as I know, everyone here has been taken from their own different reality and placed in this world." |

Shizuka stared wide eyed at Kurama and Inuyasha. "A. . .another. . .world?" she looked around the room. 'That would explain a few things, but. . .' She looked back at Kurama. "You're not kidding are you?" after a moment she spoke again. "How can l get home?" She didn't really want to go back to the zombie infested city, but her friends and the mans he loved was there. She had to get back to help them. To make sure they were okay. She sat on the endge of the bed as she spoke, her wound completely healed. |

"Still, despite his choice of words, my friend is right. We unfortunately don't know of any escape at the moment, and it's been about a year or so at least since we've been here. So far I'm trying to figure out why this world is taking people here. From the few people I've questioned, it seems as if mainly those under some great amount of stress, physically or mentally, are the most susceptable to being taken." |

We were barely keeping ahead of the zombies when we were all together. What will happen to them now?" Nothing like my world." the words felt weird rolling off her tounge. lt was still a little hard to believe that she was in another world, all alone. Though the two in front of her proved her other wise. "l hope they come here. That way none of us will have to fight anymore." |

Kurama smiled. "Well then, how about you meet some of the other household? I believe there are a few others still in the living room at the moment." Inuyasha rolled his eyes and turned to the side, feigning annoyance in the two. However, a small part of him knew how Shizuka felt. Right now he was wondering where his own friends had gone. It had been a long time since he had seen Kagome, Miroku, or Sango. Heck, even Michiru had vanished. |

Shizuka nodded. "Okay." she got to her feet and kicked her staff that was still on the floor where it had dropped when she passed out. She leaned down, folded her weapon and tucked it into her small backpack. 'Hopefully l won't have to use you here.' she thought as she closed up her pack. |
