Click me So what do you guys think of that? Personally, I think Capcom deserved it. They asked for it. Seriously, I think what they did is just plain disgusting. They basically just spit in gamers face. Locking areas of a physical disk just to sell it after? and they call that Downloaded Content!?!? I call that robbery in my own book. I mean they already finished all the content of the game. Why not just give them instead of sh*tting on gamers. They just dropped way down in my esteem. And they asks for Microsoft to ban accounts... I hope the ones who gets banned sue Capcom. Like someone posted in the comments, they can't ban people for playing the game as it was meant to. Basically, hacking is illegal BUT hacking your own goods THAT YOU ALREADY PAYED FULL PRICE is legal. You payed for it. If I want to punch my tv and break it, will I get sued? no I bought it legally who cares what I do with it after. It is the same principle here, they're screwed. I mean, If they really wanted to have DLC, well atleast DONT PUT IT ON THE DAMN DVD.. what they are doing is just scam. Seriously this kind of marketing is just sickening me. Oh well, I guess I'll think before buying another Cashcom game.... Edited by Ocelots, Mar 19 2012, 10:20 PM.

I totally agree. That seems to be a shady way to get peoples money. Release the full version, or better yet, leave the DC off the disc. Then there won't be any theft, or complaints. It goes to show that big corporations only care about profit, not content or quality of service. So much for those average gamers. Basically feels like Capcom has just stated, we know the game cost a lot, now give us more of your money. It is really a shame. I know unless this situation is fixed, I won't be buying their games at all. Remember when PSN went down last year? They made it up to us, by giving us 2 free FULL VERSION games, and 2 free FULL VERSION games for the PSP. Thats about $200 USD worth of gaming. For Capcom to do this, then get upset that people found the hidden content that they had technically paid for, is the worst kind of stupidity. On top of that they are trying to get boxes banned???! Rediculous, and outrageous. I hope those that get banned if they do, sue Capcom. I'm a capitalist, but they have gone a too far. Good looking out Oce. |
