As you may have already seen, my brother, Gonzo, has applied for the clan. On a few occasions we were both able to connect at the same time. But mostly we were not. When I am already playing on the server and he connects it says "Connection Interrupted" and I can not do anything else. Also we share the same internet connection, and i thought it was our IP address. I checked the IP address of me and him, and the numbers were all the same except the last 3 eg. 101, 109. I want to know if there is a way around this. I believe that our IP adress always stays the same because whenever I put IP renew it comes back with the same I.P Is there a way I can change my IP, or a way for the both of us to get on at the same time. It happened before, and I wonder why it is not happening now. Thank You For Your Time Sidious |

I believe the limit of identical ip's is set to 3. I had a similar ip problem earlier this year. When it says connection interupted does it say it on both of your screens or only yours? |

No need to answer any further. I have figured out a way to stop this. I changed by router setting to static IP and now me and Gonzo can play with no further technical assistance. Thank You Sidious |

It seems as if the problem has came back. :( . Me and my brother can not come on at the same time anymore. I switched my router setting to static, but it only worked 2 times, and then stopped again. Sidious |

This is NOT an issue with the server. This IS an issue with the router. You've been mucking around with the settings on your home router. Best thing I could suggest for you is to do a hard reset of your router. Then re-add the basics. Step 1: Press the RESET button on your router *this might require a paper clip to reach it* Step 2: Connect to your router's web interface (i.e. http://192.168.1.1) Step 3: Change your:
Step 4: Connect to the AoF server from one PC, then connect with the other PC. As a preventative measure for defending against flood attacks, our server allows up to 3 connections from the same IP address. This is NOT an issue with the server, this is an issue with your current network set up. |
