Hello all,

I left AoF about a month (Maybe a bit less) ago. I spoke personally with IrishDragon over XFire to do so.

In our convesation, I told him that I had been noticing a difference in my new work schedule and AoF's usual activity schedule. It seemed that when I had time to play, were times when it was rare to see other members of AoF present.

I had nothing against AoF, and tried to make it clear to IrishDragon that I do like AoF very much and was treated well here, but that since I had so little time for Jedi Academy I wished to leave AoF for a clan that seemed more active during the hours I was able to play.

It was then that I applied for JvS (And there, I am still awaiting a decision on my application, incidentally.)

It then came to my attention that on the AoF roster I have been listed as 'Dishonorable Discharged', the reason being that I left AoF due to ' Not enough time to play JA ' but then was spotted joining another clan.

This is not how it happened, and I merely want to present that I did not leave dishonorably. My reasoning given to ID was that I wanted to be in a clan that was active during the hours I would be able to play. And that's the truth of why I left, and of course it follows that I'd be joining a different clan. That was the point in my leaving, as I clearly told Irish.

I don't mean to start any fights or arguments, and if you still disagree with my and leave me as dishonorable I will accept that. I merely wish to do all I can to be on good terms with AoF, as it is a wonderful clan full of great people. And if my schedule ever becomes more free, I'd like to think I was on terms by which I could be reconsidered as an applicant for AoF.

Hoping to speak with you all more in the future, and as friends,

Ezra

As I handle the Roster, I accept full responsibility for this.

The reason I placed you as a Dishonorable Discharge is due to the fact that JvS has only a very minor difference in gameplay times compared to AoF. They happen to be more active during the week, whereas we happen to be more active during the weekends during the School Season.

I work 3pm to Midnight CST, and yet I still find plenty of time to be active on JA while also being able to enjoy myself with my family, and unwind using my 360 or Mabinogi/FFXI, so I didn't really see a reason for you to head out so soon after joining for another clan just based on an excuse of "Work schedule".

I'm not knocking JvS, but to be honest it seemed just very, very odd to me that of all the possible reasons to cite, you chose "Time" as a reason for swapping over to them.

Now that I understand what happened, because as usual Irish never stepped up to let anyone know why you left, I will remove you from the Dishonorable Discharge section.

If I recall correctly, Ezra came to me regarding his dilemma. I gave him the suggestion to post his true reason for leaving, which he did.

I do not see how or why I would have had to step into this process, aside from changing clan passwords, and altering his forum account.

Because going to you and seeking your approval versus just posting what he wanted to do are two totally different things.

In all normal cases, this would be considered a Dishonorable Discharge on the roster, leaving one clan due to lack of playtime to join another.

However, since he sought your approval, then it can be allowed to slide.

Quitting the clan is not enough to be considered a dishonorable discharge. Being removed from the clan for dishonorable actions such as; double clanning, laming, hacking, breaking rules, causing issues, inactivity without contacting us, etc... those are ways to get onto the dishonorable lists.

Posting to leave, for whatever the reason may be, and then joining another clan is not dishonorable. Showing up with alternative clan tags on, then posting a request to leave, that would be dishonorable.

He followed the proper procedure, it was a clerical error that listed him on the Dishonorable Discharge list. It happens and it has been resolved.

Yeah, I haven't been on Xfire much lately. I tend to forget to throw it up before I game. Will try to be around more there.

I'm doing well :)
