Alright. Firefox was unbelievably slow for me a while ago. I scanned for viruses got nothing. I decided to delete and re install firefox a little bit ago. No more slow firefox, problem is, firefox won't turn on now. At all. I click it, nothing. I open the Task manager, the process is there, but it isn't showing. Only way I got on here now was because I uninstalled a program that took me to the internet instantly. Posted Image This pops up when I turn on my computer, anyone mind telling me what it is if they know? It's been happening ever since I plugged in my computer and turned it on |

First.. Did you delete the folders or did you go to Control Panel and Uninstall the program? After uninstalling, did you restart then attempt to install again? Or did you just uninstall then reinstall? |

if that doesn't work do a system restore. if that doesn't work; use Google Chrome as your web browser.. They basically stole Firefox and slimmed it down so it runs way faster. |

What about that other thing that pops up at startup? That Air something cfg. I'm guessing it has something to do with the fans? My computer makes a high pitch noise like the mosquito tone, it hangs around for a bit but stops after a bit, Xzorin tells me it's related to the fan. |

it only has something to do with your fans if you have a program that can monitor your system temp. Otherwise fan controls (and error messages) are strictly hardware-only (meaning you wouldn't get an error message in windows). If you want it to stop, go to start>run then type in msconfig. In that window go to the startup tab. Then find the process its looking for: (AirGCFG.exe) and uncheck the box. Then reboot. That's only gonna work for sure if you have Windows XP. You're fored with Vista.. |
