I want to know what everyone reads, and maybe some information and what makes them so good.

Any books count except starwars related ones since there is already a topic for that.

I will list my books, and authors tomorrow, when I have time to write more.

ummm...other than Star Wars novels, I just typically read different Sci-fi stuff with some classics here and there. B)

Some of my favorites were...
the Predator novels (various authors),
'Jumper' and it's sequel 'Reflex' (Steven Gould),
I'm getting into this vampire series that started with 'Night Shift' and currently 'Hunter's Prayer' (Lilith Saintcrow)
'Staked' (J.F.Lewis)
the Halo novels (various authors)
'Of Mice and Men' (John Stienbeck)
'Great Expectations' (Charles *Wii-Wii*ens) <---wth...lol. Epic fail forum censors...
'Rebecca' (Daphne du Maurier)
the first three 'Bourne' novels (Robert Ludlem)
etc, etc, etc...

Artemis fowl and Inheritance Series for the win.

Inheritance series are by far the best ever books i have read in my entire life which is saying something since i've read a lot. Based after a time where DragonRiders governed the land and all races lived peacefully, now an evil tyrant and the last of the DragonRiders called Galbatorix rules the land. When suddenly an egg that was stolen by the resistance lands in the hands of a teenage boy which then hatches into a Dragon. Making him a DragonRider. Then it follows on from there and it's really amazing stuff. Though whatever you do, don't watch the film Eragon before you read the books or it will ruin it for you.

With the last book, I just found out Lemony Snickets real name was Daniel Handler xD.

I thought it was some wierd American re-write. But I have read them too, they were all right, but by the time I got to the end, I just realised how satrangely simple they were.

I started the Hobbit about 8 years ago, but got board before the end, same with Artemis Fowl. (I wasn't much of a reader in my early years)

I have read the Inheritance Trilogy, just gotta wait another 3 years for the forth.

I am also very familiar with Of Mice and Men by John Steinback, because I did English course on it about 2 years ago.

That is all I can think of off the top of my head.

I have heard of 'Jumper' HAven't seen or read it though, but I never heard of the sequel, I might look into it.

I have seen the Halo books around, but they never caught my fancy.

The only Charles *Wii-Wii*ens book I have read is A Christmas Carol, which followed Of Mice and Men in the series of my course works.

And I have read the Bourse Identity las year, haven't got round to the rest yet, too many other books to read.

Now to my list.

A series of Unfortunate Evenents (Daniel Handler, Lemony Snicket)
Revered (Simon Kernick)
Severed (Simon Kernick)
Deadline (Simon Kernick)
Alex Cross Novels (James Patterson)
Michael Bennet Novel(s) (James Patterson)
Other books by James Patterson (And co-authors)
The Codex Alera (Jim Butcher)
Harry Potter (J.K. Rowling)
The Belgariad (David Edding)
The Bourne Identitiy (Robert Ludlem)
The Kite Runner (Khaled Hosseini)
Birdsong (Sebastian Faulks)

Yeah, I have my bookshelf right by me...

And there is also many more I have that I plan to read.

Harry Potter, (yar a wizzard harry)

Dune, (I know of your weirding ways)

the Watchmen, (it counts, I say so)

Blade Runner. (Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?)

Animal Farm (Tactics comrades!!! Tactics!!!)

Lord of the Flies (Sucks to your *buns*-mar)

The Hobbit was alright. (What has it gots in its pocketses?)

Fahrenheit 451 (Monday burn Millay, Wednesday Whitman, Friday Faulkner, burn 'em to ashes, then burn the ashes. That's our official slogan.)

There's probably a few more, but I'm not much of a hardcore reader. Most of the books I have read were Star Wars novels.

I don't read too many fiction books, at the moment. I like the classics I've read...Jane Eyre, Pride and Prejudiced, Moby *Wii-Wii*, Great Expectations, etc. "A Day in The Life of Ivan Dinisovich" is a good one by Solzhenitsyn. His "Gulag Archipelago" is great as well, though not fiction. I read a lot of history and theology books; probably makes up the bulk of my reading actually.

Oh man, i am a hardcore reader!! It is the best pastime EVER!!! (wackos)

My list is as follows:

The Sword of Truth series by Terry Goodkind
By far my favorite books ever. The first on is called Wizards First Rule and its the best of the whole series. I recommend these books to anyone who likes fantasy, ya know wizards, dragons, swordfights, Confessors, Mord-Sith, witch women, romance, evil tyrants, love, betrayal, magical boundaries... these books have it ALL!!!! *sigh* I'm done. Seriously if ur interested let me know and i'll tell u all about em. :)

The Twilight Saga -Stephanie Meyers (AWESOME!!! Vampires and werewolves? What could be better???)

Harry Potter -Rowling

The Inheritance Cycle -Paolini

The Guardians of Ga'Hoole -Kathyrn Lasky (these books are simple but very entertaining. The main characters are owls and they have like a city in a tree and its a good read while you're waiting for the next book in your series to come out.)

The Dark Tower series -Stephen King (I havent finished them all yet but they're pretty good. Kinda weird.... but good)

The Amulet of Samarkand and its sequels -Johnathan Stroud (I cant remember which one was first, i think it was that one... srry)

Oh gosh i cant think of anything else at the moment T_T there are so many more i love
