Without getting into the specific, I am looking to setup a quick and dirty VPN setup using an old box on my home network as a server, and my laptop as a client. Intent: Punch through a rather restrictive firewall by routing VPN thru port80 (allowed traffic) and keeping all of my info SSL Encrypted while I am on the network. I was wondering if anyone can give a push into a good open source VPN client/server package. The server would be a custom-build linux 2.6.24 kernel based system, only expecting 1 client, 500mhz p3, etc etc etc. Client would natrually be my laptop. I saw openVPN but i want to see if anything else may fit the bill, just for the sake of variety. Ahoy! -Battyone |
