Nice stuff and at a cheap price. Nic Job (thumbUp) I thinks its better than the one I bought(It's not set yet, I'ma set it this weekend) I too would love to know how to build a computer part by part and It will soon be possible :) I am actually in ''informatic'' don't know its its called the same where you live and a have a class where I will all learn about building a computer from nothing. But I Just noticed something. Geez the parts are way more expensive in my country o.O 2 sticks of 2GBDDR2 costs like.... around 70-80$ each. and a 8600GT cost way more than 34$ o.O You Americans are lucky :P |

that 8600GT is almost $70 originally, the factory is offering a $30 rebate. After I get the card I have to mail in a form and proof of purchase. |

I think you're referring to Computer Science. Although I haven't seen any classes here that actually teach how to build them. *shrug* probably different in Canada. I built my first one using this guide: http://static.tigerdirect.com/html/pcbuildingtips.html |

You'd get 26% more graphical power with this single card than both of those 8600GT in SLI: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16814102715 35%: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16814131095 44%: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16814133232 You could get a 3850 now and Crossfire later on when you want to upgrade. |

lol. Yeah... I know how to compare them i suppose but Nvidia has always named its chipsets well =P the higher the numbers the better (for the most part) Also switched cards to this one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16814102715 |

anyway, price is roughly the same. The question I've been debating is whether I should try and lift Vista from somewhere rather than install XP again. |
