Hey guys, I'm having a problem with my MAC Book Pro laptop. So, I just installed Jedi Academy, but I needed to install the latest MAC OS X software. When I went to do so, it asked for my administer name and password. My administer name is my real name, (or so I thought), and I knew my password. However, it didn't work. I changed my password, checked my spelling on my name, and then went to my Users profile to check my name, and it is what I thought it was. In other words, I cannot play JKA until I figure this out. Help! Please? It would be greatly appreciated. -Koru |

I know absolutely nothing of Mac's so I cannot really help you. But to me it sounds similar to the problem some people have with Windows Vista. But I haven't encounter that either so I am not much help. |

Don't worry about it Mydin haha. To be honest, I don't know much about MAC's either, and I have the laptop! But I scheduled an appointment with my nearest apple store and they are gonna talk me through my problems with installing JA and all of that. By this weekend, I should be playing on the server. See you Spoiler: click to toggle then!- Koru |

Here's my 2 step solution: Step 1) Drop your Mac off a *fubaring* cliff Step 2) Buy a real computer. |

Don't worry about asking questions. Your first few weeks here will be nothing but questions. :D We will all do what we can to help. I had the same problem when I first got the game a few years ago. I think I just changed my comp. resoultion to 1024 by 768. If that doesn't work ask Inu, I hear he is the guy to ask about computer business. Good luck with it! :) |

Can you access a 'USERS' settings field? Perhaps you can re-do your password in there. Also, there may be utilities available for download that can force reset your password. If all else fails you may have to call Apple Tech Support, or take your Mac Book to an Apple store for their technicians to work on. Worst case scenario. Reformat and reinstall the OS and start from scratch. |
