*Cough* Kage doesn't know what he's talking about. I've run multiple different versions of Vista on my laptop and test PC, all of them have worked flawlessly in comparison to my XP computer. Also very good for upping FPS. |

yea. You won Zero... you've succeeded to make me hate you  maybe you should put an alarm or security device on it (devilfce) No but seriously, that's a nice rig. And vista WAS a pain in the a** indeed. now there are severals update that make it enjoyable. I just wish i could have a rig like that to play lots of greats games *point at Crysis* :D |

It doesn't take a very high end PC to play Crysis, just a decent processor, decent RAM, and a good GFX card. As long as you have that, you'll be able to play at low or medium settings just fine (which still looks super good.) His PC though, if running on Vista, will have DX10 and unlock Very High (Extra High) graphics which basically makes Crysis look like a window into a different place on earth. Of course we'd all love that. Btw, I hate you too now Zero. |

It's a jump from... Manufacturer: Sony Corporation Processor: Intel® Pentium® 4 CPU 2.59GHz Hacked & OC'ed Memory: 1024MB RAM Hard Drive: 80 GB Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200 Monitor: Polaroid 15" LCD Sound Card: YAMAHA AC-XG WDM Audio Speakers/Headphones: VAIO Speakers Keyboard: Logitech G15 Original Mouse: Logitech MX400 Mouse Surface: Logitech MX400 Operating System: Windows XP Professional (5.1, Build 2600) Service Pack 3, v.3264 (2600.xpsp.071130-1427) I'll also be getting a 24" monitor to complete it, with an HDMI port for the PS3. Btw, the e8400 is already on the way from tigerdirect w00t. |

SP1 opened Vista up to multiple 3rd party stabilization and optimization packages that have never even been come close to for WinXP. Just because you had bad luck with it doesn't mean that it's a horrible OS, just means you were screwed over. Your teacher obviously doesn't realize that you can't go to Windows Vista without a decent power supply and a lot of RAM, preferably dual channel. |

she bought a new comp with it, vista is a waste of resoures, i mean, in stand by it use 1 gig of RAM, which is compleyely uneccasary, and when u do the screen flip it all goes up (Ram and CPU) which is the result of bad programming.. Linux does the same thing, and the CPU goes down, not to mention in standby linux uses 128 meg |
