Been a long time since i really played around with skinning as my talent is for mapping but from what i can remember: Within the .pk3 file you should have a set of folders as follows sounds->chars-><skin name>->misc within the misc folder is where you put the sounds you wish to use, (they use a set of names which you can find if you open any .pk3 or im sure theres a list out there somewhere) Then within the models->players-><skin name> folder you need a text file called sounds.cfg in that file you simply put<skin name> as used in the other folders and then on a new line either m or f for male or female(it only matters if you have different sub folders for m and f sounds so just put m if you have one set of sounds) With any luck that should have worked and you now have your custom sounds but as i say its been a while so i may have just made all this up. |
