I want to switch and get a better internet connection. Right now my dad is paying 90 dollars for Phone and Internet of pretty much up to 1.3mb (130kb/s dl speed). I want to switch to a 6mb connection speed and at the same time save money as I noticed they have better deals and our plan is old. So my question is should I stick with Surewest or Comcast to pick the better deals? Comment if you have any past experiences with these ISPs and which one is better.

It's your decision, but we've had Comcast for a while and works fine for us. I don't know much of the details on it(I'm sure you do :P ) and 'Surewest' but there's my two cents :)

Comcast offers

Broadband
Cable (including movie channels/ movies on demand)
Some sort of phone service, which includes unlimited long distance @ no extra charge

for $140/mo, or something close. Maybe less, depending on where you live.

It's called Comcast Triple Play or something similar to that.

Surewest is like unreliable for me. They promise 3mb max I get 1.3mb max. I might switch to comcast tomorrow then.

So far the fastest I see is the 20mb/s from Videotron, that's crazy.
