I personally am kind of torn. My mom is a professor in Information systems and she loves Suse. And I admit, its well designed. But the one with the biggest support at the moment is Redhat (Fedora) and then Ubuntu. I suppose I should just try all three and decide for myself. I'll more than likely go with Fedora or Ubuntu though as I have a few clanmates that use Ubuntu.

*Edit* http://www.tuxgames.com/ There you go Rai. :D Oh, and just 'cause I'm cool like this, UT2k4 has the Linux Distro on every copy shipped. ;)

sony makes custom parts for their pcs and i couldn't find a hd that matched so swapping hds is not an option for me right now and i still haven't found the cds. geeksquad wants 300 dollars if i asked them to recover my data off the hd and run a recovery on it which is ridiculous. so far the only good news is that my dad is considering buying a new pc. the question is should i build my own or just pick one straight from the retailers?

Fedora is for hardcore Linux users. I'm still learning so I run Ubuntu mostly.
