I watch a lot of movies because they're cheap where I'm at ($3 for a matinee), I don't drink anymore, and I genuinely find interacting with people at my school to be mostly distasteful. To give myself an excuse for this horrible and horribly expensive pastime, I have a pop culture blog that Lance sometimes posts on, usually inadvertently pointing out how much more cultured he is than me without even trying. I'm posting this here because maybe you guys see movies too, or maybe I want a free click or two at my blog. Let's talk about some movies, and not just in the "I saw this, hurr hurr" way that we normally encourage. If you want, you can click the links and see my reviews. Also if you want, we can have a nice discussion about movies here, on this very forum! ---Four Stars--- 1. The Avengers 2. We Need to Talk About Kevin 3. God Bless America 4. Alright then, better climactic third act pie fight? Cabin In The Woods or Blazing Saddles? |

Oh gross. Tim and Eric was turned into a movie? The worst part of the show was them. Coriolanus surprised me by not being the worst thing I've ever seen. Man on a Ledge was awful. The highlight was someone in the back of the theater yelling "jump." The Raven was actually worse than Man on a Ledge. John Cusack was great and everything else wasn't. I don't follow direction well. Blazing Saddles, though Cabin in the Woods would win if somebody were to have gone "Get your pies for the great pie fight." Dawn of the Dead has to be in the conversation too, right? |

I'm seeing The Raven tonight, for some reason. Gotta get in those cheap movies while I can. And yes, Tim and Eric got a movie and were consequently the worst part of it. |

How did you like The Raven? I picked up Edge's movie. I can't remember what it's called, but it looks awful. Edge is a competent actor though, so I'm hoping he'll redeem everything else. Also, this is probably going to be the greatest movie ever made. ![]() They really just need to advertise it like this, "Kevin Nash in a stripper movie." That's all the tagline they need. |

Nash, and what appears to be Commander Sheperd and the Kony 2012 guy in a stripper movie = must see. Also, the movies off the top of my head coming soon that seem worth paying for are The Dark Knight Rises and Snow White and the Huntsman. Kristen Stewart has been a vacuous, boring bint in the Twilight films, I am fairly confident I will see a very good performance from her in Snow White and the Huntsman. |

I wound up not seeing the Raven. I'll update my list later though. Dark Shadows was better than expected though. |

Charlize Theron just had to use the same British accent she used in Arrested Development didnt she? She should have locked Stewart up with the invisible locks. |

Is that Magic Mike? I saw Rock of Ages, and was enraged that he only sang one note. |

Holy shit. He's in Rock of Ages too? I'm kind of happy he only sang one note then. I really, really do not want to watch it. Yeah, that's Magic Mike. Honestly, if it wasn't for Nash that movie would not be worth watching. Oh yeah, I watched Bending the Rules finally. It was worse than I expected somehow and I was expecting it be pretty terrible. They seriously need to get decent writers for their films. As it is I'm pretty sure they just randomly grab dialogue from other movies and slap it together. Edge was alright, but I've seen him prove himself a capable actor in other things. Jamie Kennedy is still really annoying, shocker. |

I wish somebody would murder Jamie Kennedy, to be honest. And yes, Nash is in that movie, but he just plays 1993 Diesel, arms permanently folded. |

Despite the weather working really hard to prevent me from seeing it. I finally got around to watching Magic Mike. It was about what I expected, but there were a few really good/interesting shots. Also, I feel like I deserve a refund for the lack of Diesel penis. Saw the new Spider-Man also. I always forget that I don't really care for Peter Parker as a character. It appeared to be very strongly geared toward the teenage girl crowd. Emma Stone was good as Gwen Stacy though. |

I liked Magic Mike a lot more than I expected, but I'm a big mark for the director. There was a huge lack of Nashdick, but I imagine Nash had Justin Credible rub oil into his thighs back in the New Generation days and got a kick out of his stiff, robotic dance moves. Also that he was the dude who overdosed on pills. Also that he is awesome. |
