OVW is now TNA's developmental fed, much like it was under the WWE until FCW came along. It is a pretty good purchase, as I believe Jim Cornette is still in charge or is involved in some form (him or Kenny Bolin). |

Three things: 1. There's a stark difference between "buying" something and agreeing to work with it in some capacity. TNA didn't buy OVW, but is using it as a feeder league. Similarly, WWE didn't own OVW. 2. You'd have to be a fucking retard to take a developmental contract with TNA, and considering that Jessie fucking Neal turned one down and was hired back anyhow kind of paints a dark picture for poor ol' OVW. 3. Jim Cornette is never working for TNA again, according to him, and he's one of a few dudes in wrestling who sticks to his guns. I imagine he's done with OVW and is focusing his time on ROH. |
