Nobody can make Wolverine a good movie, so long as Marvel Comics are involved. Even then, it'd be tough. |

I don't think Aronofsky has ever made a great film, but yeah, he's too good for this shite. |

Requiem approaches greatness. The Wrestler is really good. He'd better not fuck up Robocop, or there'll be hell to pay. |

Lets not forget Black Swan, which is the best movies I've seen this year. |

I need to see it a second time. It was the second best of the Oscar nominees, but I'd take Winter's Bone, Exit Through the Gift Shop, and Leaves of Grass over it. |

Well shit. I liked both the Wrestler and Black Swan a lot, this sequel could have used his touch to scrub out the last remains of the first film from all of our minds. |

Nothing could erase Wolverine Origins. And the fact that Aronofsky saw that and was like "Yeah, I can do the sequel" is incredibly disappointing. |

I still haven't seen the finished version of Wolverine. The Chinese bootleg I watched was hilarious. |

I think Requiem is pretty bad, and while Black Swan was good, it was David Lynch's last two films redux. I liked The Wrestler though, |

So glad he quit, he needs to do more personal films. |

What he needs is to mature a little bit and not rely on visual gimmicks so much. Although I did enjoy the ludricrous spectacle of the swan transformation |

I like Requiem. I mean, it's not the greatest movie ever or anything, and I did see it pretty early in my "I watch serious films now" phase, but it holds up better than at least 70% of the movies from 1999-2000 that CHANGED MOVIES FOREVER. |

I think everything it aims for, it fails at. Nobody has ever successfully not laughed at the end, for instance, or indeed throughout. |
