By the end of this year, Jeff Hardy will either be dead, out of a job, or in jail. There are no other outcomes. Naturally, the people who've been riding Jeff's coattails for the past 5 or so years will say otherwise, but that's all meaningless prattle. Whenever something goes down, update this here thread. |

Well, he was sent home from this weeks taping of ImPact! and his next court date is 3/21/2011. According to the wikis, he plans on pleading guilty. For his sake, I hope a plea deal will get him probation with mandatory rehab. Other than that - in good news, that awful Immortal World Championship will be gone either this week or next week. After Victory Road, I doubt Jeff will ever be allowed near the main event spot.....anywhere...ever. Just a prediction, but it seems VERY likely. |

1) Well, a continuance was issued his court date was pushed back further, from 3/25 to 4/20/2011 from the latest. The case was delayed because prosecutors are still awaiting the results of lab tests from the State Bureau of Investigation on some of the evidence that was seized from Hardy’s home on the day of his arrest back in September 2009. Hardy’s lawyer has stated publicly that Hardy will plead guilty to some of the charges and prosecutors are still working on the terms of a plea deal. 2) Other than that, he has not appeared on an ImPact post-Victory Road. Rumor has it that he will return as a face. Hardy’s status with TNA likely won’t be discussed until after his April 20 court hearing. Which is incredibly stupid, considering he has driven away a ton of people away from TNA. But then again, you get what you deserve for sending a fucked up Jeff Hardy to work the Main Event on a PPV. If management was smart, after Victory Road would've been a great time to let him go. Other than that, looks like Hardy still has a job in TNA. 3) The full Victory Road match: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lckr9OLR2Ow Would not have bothered for obvious reasons, but a commenter left a VERY good comment about the details of the match and the match is much more enjoyable (for me anyway) when analyzing the details and intricacies of this mess. I didn't notice a lot of the stuff when I first saw the match, but after subsequent viewings, I can't believe I missed how fucked up Hardy was. I edited some of the dude's comment to add stuff I noticed and/or rephrase stuff. The uploader had a pretty good "rant" in the description. 2:46 - Ref gets Jeff to come over so he can assess his odd behaviour. 3:01 - Ref shows the 'X' sign to indicate a problem. 3:12 - Ref relays message to So Cal Val and staff. 3:38 - JB looks slightly annoyed and/or pissed 5:18 - Bischoff comes out unplanned, the rush probably leads to the wrong entrance being used (or is that his solo entrance?). 5:57 - Bischoff assesses Jeff himself to make sure he isn't just acting. 6:18 - Bischoff pulls a routine out of his ass so he can tell Sting he's making the match no-DQ so he can get the win however way he needs to, and in case Jeff makes things difficult.. 7:05 - Bischoff goes through with announcing it's a no-DQ match, and again pulls a great reason for it throughout his promo out of his ass. 8:42 - Sting finally gets a hold of Jeff to attempt a grapple and see what kind of a match he can make from this. Jeff actually cuts Sting just form the grapple, so Sting decides there's no safe match to be had, so it must be ended now. 9:24 - Cuts from Jeff's grapple. Also, after shaking Jeff's hand and man hugging, Bisch probably gave Jeff something, more than likely caffeine pills or a Chaser, possibly gum. @ 6:10, Jeff puts something in his mouth. -End Edited by #LJB, Apr 26 2011, 07:21 PM.

Yeah, the referee holding up the X is awesome. TNA's camera guys really failed them the whole duration of that match, particularly when they caught Sting agreeing with the fan's assessment that what they'd just seen was bullshit. |

My favorite part is that Jeff sold the two or three punches from Sting more than the Scorpion Death Drop. Fuck him and fuck TNA for continuing to employ these assholes. |

“I hated what happened because I wanted to give fans a great match. But I realize it had to happen the way it did. And after all was said and done I came to the back and made sure he was OK. He is OK and he’s been talking to people close to him a lot. Jeff is getting stronger. He’s riding 10 miles a day on his mountain bike to get in condition, I hear! Good luck to him.” - Sting. Because riding 10 miles a day on his mountain bike is going to cure him of addiction! |

I gotta say, Sting is a better man than I. If I were in Sting's position, I would take the opportunity to bury Jeff and TNA. Kudos to him. |

Its amazing the amount of chances that Jeff has gotten and blown each and every last one of them. He's lucky that he was in the ring with Sting, and not someone who would've taken advantage of the situation to beat the piss out of him. |

According to a report on Prowrestling.net, the trial for Jeff Hardy's September 2009 drug possession arrest has once again been granted a continuance. The reason for the continuance was the defense was trying to contact the county's Sentencing Services Program, which determines whether a case should just have rehab instead of jail time. They didn't get in contact with them so a continuance was given. The next trial will be held on June 27. ====================================================== Well, if I get in some shit, I will need the number of Jeff's lawyer. Though from what I hear, a lot of the possession charges were dropped and the only charge left is "conspiracy to traffic". I don't see anybody avoiding jail time for that, though considering his connections, he will find a way to serve very minimal time or avoid it all together. I do hope that he gets rehab and avoids jail time as: 1) I like Jeff and forced rehab will do him more favors AND 2) Most importantly, the drug laws in the US are bullshit and the trial shouldn't really be happening IMO. That said, it looks like we will see him in a TNA ring again in 4 - 15 weeks time. Edited by #LJB, Apr 21 2011, 05:29 PM.

Fuck Jeff Hardy. I really have no fucking clue how it's possible to a)enjoy his work or b)root for a guy who has completely fucked up everytime he gets the ball handed to him. Why shouldn't the trial be happening? If you're stupid enough to get caught breaking easily broken laws (shouldn't drive high with your shit in the car, obv.), then fuck you, go to jail. |

Jeff Hardy trial over. Click for details Or just read below Professional wrestler Jeff Hardy’s case finally got to court. A plea bargain long in the works was approved Thursday morning in Moore County Superior Court by Judge Joseph Turner. Hardy will spend ten days in jail, dates to be arranged with his probation officer. The plea bargain got him 30 months of probation and a $100,000 fine in lieu of an active prison sentence. Hardy’s plea stemmed from his 2009 arrest on drug charges. The celebrated wrestler had been expected to take a plea bargain last March, but was postponed until the state could get results from State Bureau of Investigation lab tests on the alleged drugs. At that time, acting on a request from defense attorney James R. Van Camp with no objection from the state, the court modified terms of Hardy’s pre-trial release to permit him to leave the country — provided he notified the district attorney — on business. That was done so Hardy would be able to compete internationally. This time, after approving the plea agreement, Turner granted Van Camp’s renewed request and allowed Hardee to travel outside of North Carolina and the country in order to pursue his profession. Following the sentence, Hardy made no comments about the charges or his plea. He is expected to honor his long promised exclusive interview with The Pilot. His office said Van Camp will call to set that up. Assistant District Attorney Warren McSweeney outlined the evidence supporting the plea, which wrapped three felony pleas into one for sentencing purposes. Moore County sheriff’s deputies arrested the world champion wrestler in September 2009 after a search of his home in Cameron discovered quantities of illegal drugs, including prescription Vicodin and Soma, a quantity of anabolic steroids, a small amount of cocaine and drug paraphernalia. At the time, Hardy was charged with felony trafficking in opium, two counts of felony possession with intent to sell or deliver a schedule III controlled substance, felony maintaining a dwelling to keep controlled substance, felony possession of cocaine and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. A Moore County grand jury later indicted Hardy. The cases against Hardy had been continued a number of times, including three times this year. Hardy remained free on bail pending his day in court. Hardy, 32, and his brother, Matt, wrestling as the Hardy Boyz, were six-time World Wrestling Entertainment World Tag Team Champions. Individually, Jeff Hardy held the WWE World Champion belt at one time and the World Heavyweight Championship twice. ========================================= To say he got off easy is an understatement |

TNA star Jeff Hardy checked into jail yesterday to begin serving his 10-day jail sentence as part of the guilty plea he agreed to stemming from his 2009 drug arrest. Source: some dude on Facebook ================================================== As I predicted (and was pretty obvious), Jeff will serve little to no jail time. Impact spoilers floating around say that before he turned himself in Tuesday, he severed all ties with Immortal by Twist of Fate-ing Bisch. He'll be out in time for Bound for Glory, so either we will know how Roode finally become World Champ OR he will be the one who helps Sting retire Hogan. Speculation F.T.W.~! But yeah, to say he got a slap on the wrist is an understatement. |

If Roode needs help to win the title or Sting can't beat Hogan clean even 10+ years after Starrcade '97, I'll die laughing. |

I just wanted to let you all know that my period and Jeff Hardy's jail duration coincide. It totally explains why my sheets looked like his hair this morning. I'm sorry. Seriously, I cannot wait for the Matt Hardy video crying about this. |
