Come now, pat, is this actually confirmed? Or are you just regurgitating a rumour that was going around weeks ago? Let's use logic here: 1. He just joined the Main Event Mafia against his will. Would even TNA put a guy in such an interesting storyline, which is tied into the company's main feud, if he was about to leave? 2. He left the WWE, in part, because of the gruelling road shedule. Why drop the easy life of TNA to go back to that? 3. In TNA Christian is a top guy and recognised as a 2 time world champion. In WWE he was a JTTS. Just think for once, okay? |

Well as news today states, KOK pwmania.com It is said that the reports of Christian Cage remaining with TNA were inaccurate. Sources are saying he will head back to WWE, as it would be the best deal for his family with current economy. Cage apparently has informed Dixie Carter and Jeff Jarrett that it's in his best interest to consider WWE's offer. Last night's TNA Turning Point PPV or this week's television tapings could be Cage's final TNA appearance. ---- The Christian story is giving us a lot of headaches. Christian is a very quiet guy and doesn't tell anyone (even friends) where he's headed. We had this same problem when he left WWE for TNA several years ago. The latest word backstage at the PPV last night is that Christian will be heading back to WWE once his current TNA deal expires next month. TNA is still trying to work out a deal with him, but most backstage feel he won't be staying. |

Of course I was refering to when his contract was running down. He was going, he was staying, he was going, he was staying. This thing with Christian reminds me of that. |

TNA have written him out of the Main Event Mafia storyline so they themselves must be pretty sure he's going |

The general feeling at last night's TNA iMPACT tapings was that the angle the shot with The Main Event Mafia beating down Christian Cage and Kurt Angle bringing up WWE was their way of writing him out. TNA made the decision to write him out now as the belief internally is that he is looking to return to WWE. Rather than be caught off guard at the last minute, like they were with Gail Kim, the company chose to write him out now. Christian's deal with TNA is not up until next month and TNA is still discussing a new contract with him. If he chooses to resign with TNA, a revenge storyline with The MEM is already set. If not, they've built up The MEM by having them run Christian out of the company. --- At Monday's Impact taping, Christian Cage was written out of television. Cage was attacked by the Main Event Mafia and left lying at the conclusion of the show, similar to the New World Order taking out The Giant on an episode of WCW Monday Nitro in January 1999 because he was heading off to WWE. However, there is an opening for a possible return to TNA. The angle was written in a way for it to be a blowoff of his character in case Cage signs with WWE, but he could also come back as a vengeful babyface should he re-sign with TNA. Cage is still listening to TNA, so he's not a lock to return to World Wrestling Entertainment quite yet. People close to the situation believe he is leaning towards returning to WWE, but he is still open to the idea of re-signing with TNA should they make him an offer he can't refuse. |

So CC could have the best of both things, if he signs for WWE he has got to really tell Vince he wants a title run for anyone to give a shit and if that fails in TNA he could become one of the biggest baby-face taking out the MEM. |

I wouldn't say that, he's a pretty okay looking guy.
Were they actually doing anything with Gail Kim when she left? |

I pick Jeff winning the belt at SS so Christian coming in, if he comes in, and feuding with Hardy over the belt would work if he is a heel. Plus Edge and Christian stuff could be gold. |

- There is a good number of people backstage in TNA that think Christian is on his way out. This is leading to some speculation that WWE are holding off the return of Edge so he can re-debut with Christian. |

That wouldn't be the worst idea. They wouldn't have to be a tag team either. They could have a two man power trip deal and be the top heels on SmackDown!. |
