I'd go to Bonnaroo again, but the headliners are piss. Don't care to give DMB any of my money.

Any you buckaroos going to a festival?
Hookahville, it's small and incredibly cheap.

True, but I probably wouldn't pay $30 to see her play some tame folk ballads.

Yeah, when I saw them, all they did was ramble about George Bush. I was fucking pissed.

Saw Public Image Ltd., who were about a 1000 times better than I thought they'd be. Going to make an effort to see Jah Wobble the day before my birthday, and hopefully Hawkwind in Manchester.

Does that mean they only played songs off of Metal Box and Compact Disc?

Fuck you. They played good stuff off First Issue and Flowers of Romance too!

I can accept First Issue, actually. As for Flowers of Romance, I'll take The Cure's Pornography over it, but Banging the Door is a good song.

The Grass Roots, it was pretty sad. I'm also pretty sure the keyboard player was dead.

Saw Rush last month. It was incredible. They played Moving Pictures from start to finish. The best though was the encore with Working Man starting out with a reggae twist.

Trombone Shorty and Orleans Ave. played a free show here, and it was pretty fucking awesome. His band was tight, and his James Brown impersonation was pretty good.

The Joy Formidable, worth it? I haven't decided yet, but most likely I'll be seeing them in a couple of weeks.
